My Husband and I Have VERY Different Lifestyles...

and it's affecting my ability to effectively lose weight.

I became a stay home mom 3 years ago and have 2 kids...I didn't gain a lot of weight with the pregnancies, but I am having a hard time keeping it off.

I have been a trainer in the past so I know how to mix it up and eat healthy...the problem is, my husband works late and we end up eating dinner late, though together. I try to eat my main meal around lunch time and then taper off and eat light in the evening, but it's hard to do because my husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, so when I cook for him, I do cut the fat where I can, but the meals still tend to be heavier than I'd really like to eat. It's my fault for not being able to fight the temptation, but do any of you have some suggestions on how I can #1 fight the urge to eat more than I really should, #2 Get my husband on board to eat a little healthier?

I don't feel hopeless, but something has got to give. I have thought of the extreme...just not cooking for him and letting him fend for himself, but that's a sucky thing to do since because he works his butt off, I can stay home...and if I cook light, he ends up gorging himself on a bowl or 2 of Lucky Charms! Lol!

Help...I really want to shed these last pounds!!!
