Met My Goal - Gaining it Back!

HI all. After 1 1/2 year I have met a weight loss goal. It was a long process - but I did it the right way with eating balanced healthy meals and exercise. I've gotten loads of compliments on the new me. In last few weeks, my clothes have been more snug, the pounds are creepng back on the scale, and I am not being mindful of what I am eating. I am not as serious about watching calories (points) now as i was before and I am starting to feel the effects. I am so scared that I"m gonna mess up, that I fear I am messing up on purpose. Am I alone?

Definitely not alone...
You have to have a new goal, a 5K race time, a pace on the treadmill, a size, a weight by a certain date ...something, otherwise it is too hard to keep it up.
Keep those healthy habits...

I did the same thing too...It took me about a year to lose 25 pounds only to gain nearly 20 of it back :( I've been back on PEERTrainer for about 5 weeks now and have already shed 5lbs. It is easier once you learn how to do it.. BUT, I know for me it will have to be a lifestyle change. I need to continue to work out doing cardio 4-6 days per week, one hour each time and I will have to continue to count calories and log forever! Or I won't be able to keep it off.

All of us that have regained or are regaining weight we lost should start a group or team together! Maybe PEERTrainer For Life :) or PEERTrainer Lifers

I agree that you should set a new goal....it'll keep you motivated. Do you have any photo's of your previous "bigger" self? If so, carry it around with you...that way, when you're about to make a poor food choice, you can look at it...hopefully that would help you not make the poor choice.
