Chocolate Bunnies, Peeps, Cakes, Oh my!

Okay, had my first holiday officially not walking out of my mothers feeling like a stuffed pig. I ate very reasonably and did not eat dessert. My kids ate their candies and I ate a few jelly beans and left it at that. YEAH! :) How did everyone else do today?

Hey, good for you OP! I did well, too. Only 10 mini jelly beans and one sugar cookie. I'm ending my day at 1230 calories :)

Good for you ! I won too!

Small breakfast
Lunch of 3/4 PB&J and a small bowl of cereal - 600 C.
And then at the big family dinner - two peices of ham, 1/4 sweet potato, 10 asparagus spears, 1 cup scalloped potatoes, 1/4 c. fruit salad, 1/3rd slice pie
(600 c. ?) and all without funny looks.
I felt like it was mission impossible, and that made it kinda fun ! !

Candy will be around today.. got to stay strong ! !

I give myself the day to treat myself without completely gorging on junk. I even give myself an abridged version the day after because there's always leftovers that taste so good, and the black jelly beans that no one else likes are calling to me! But after that, I'm back on track. I find allowing myself to eat those usually "off limits" foods takes the allure away, and I don't end up sneaking it straight from the fridge when no one is looking. I always eat more that way because I'm jamming it in and then feel guilty about it.

&%&*# leftovers

I was so good over Easter, but them relaxed and got sabotaged by leftovers. But I took some PT advise and just stopped as quick as I could manage and moved on instead of keeping on eating too much all night. Whew
