2 workouts a day?

Hi!! I was wondering what everyone thought of working 2x a day. I usually do a good workout everyday at lunch time, where i burn 650-700 calories according to my polar heart rate monitor. And i am trying to stick to 1700-1800 calories a day ( I am a 5'11" female, size 10) but sometimes if i want to eat more like 2000-2200, i do a second workout at night and burn around 500 calories. Does anyone else do something similar? any thoughts?
