What's more important meeting WW daily points goal or Calories?

....I am 38, 5'2" and 127. I saw somewhere on the internet that I should be eating 1411 calories per day in order to loose weight. I'm not quite sure what my WW points target should be. I'm not sure if I should enter a score of 0 or 2 based on my activity level. I sit the majority of the day, however I do exercise at least 30 minutes 5-6 times a week. Either way the final number would be either 19 or 21 I believe. The issue for me is that based on the calorie tracker I am using (FatSecret) I typically am wayyyy over the daily points like 25,27 and higher and still under my daily calories.

Clearly I'm making the wrong food choices the question I have is where should I be putting my focus? I need to know how WW points I can have per day and still loose weight. I also need to know the breakdown of those points, because I believe my other issue is not properly balancing my nutrients.

Thank you for your response.

Best regards,
