Looking for friends

Hi-
just created a new group based on the book "Intuitive Eating". If you're ready to say good bye to diets, and instead focus on your inner voice telling you if you're hungry and when you're full, this may be a group you wish to consider joining. There will be no discussion of calories/points/carbs/fat or any other diet-related talk. We won't focus on scales or clothes size or any other superficial device telling us when we've been "good" and when we've been "bad".

Instead- this group is about helping each other recognize what makes our bodies feel good and what doesn't. It's going to be about getting rid of the "good/bad food" mentality and instead focusing on what we REALLY want to eat.

I'm tired of feeling bad about myself. I'm tired of thinking there's something wrong with me... that I have no will power and that I'm a failure when it comes to weight. I'm tired of avoiding restaurants, obsessing over meal choices and denying myself samples at the grocery store. I want to actually ENJOY food. I want to remember what it feels like to eat to the point of satiety. I want to stop using food as a comfort and I want to stop stuffing myself as a punishment when I've fallen off the diet band-wagon.
