Need an at home exercise program advice

Hello,

I have been exercising consistently an hour a day for the last month and would like to settle on a cardio/strength training routine. I do 40 minutes of walking/running and 20 minutes of stretching and strength training 5 or 6 days a week. I am tired of looking at books and websites to try to figure out which exercise to do!

Question 1. Is walking enough? I have walked for exercise for over 20 years and don't feel like it gets my heart rate up. I love running but my knees don't. After a month they are starting to cause me problems again. I add a bike ride when I can.

Question 2. What do I do for that Strength training segment? I like video workouts but I am finding that the dvds are too easy or move along too fast for good strength training. Is there a plan out there for 15 minutes a day (or so) of strength training. I have a mat, light handweights and ankle weights and some resistance bands.
