Fiber is Bad for you?
When ever I start eating healthy my first rule of thumb is always fiber. I concentrate on eating a high fiber diet because I have been told this is healthy.
Diet Ex:
BREAKFAST: 1 cup of high fiber cereal (12g fiber) with 1 cup of 1% milk
SNACK: 1 piece of fruit (apple or banana) and 10-15 nuts (almonds or walnuts)
LUNCH: Big green salad - spinach, lettuce, cucumber, celery, carrots, green peppers. and 2 eggs whites
SNACK: yogurt (sometimes i put a TBsp of granola in it)
SUPPER: either chicken or fish, with quinoa or wild rice, and 1 cup of steamed veggies (brocolli of asparagus)
SNACK: usually fruit, sometimes a bit of natural Peanut butter
So my question is WHY am i constipated. I tried to google this and came across this article

He claims that high fiber is not actually good for our bodies basicially and that everyone should be eating a low fiber natural diet. Our bodies are not meant to diegest fiber. Is this garbage?
Oh just side note... I thought maybe I was just getting used to the fiber but 2 years of eating a healthy diet and I still get constipated regularly. When I do not eat as healthy (more fatty foods and sugary foods) I never have a problem
