Anyone know the web address to a good anonymizer?
I can't get peertrainer at work because it has a forum... but I want to be able to get to my logs... I have tried offsurf.com, but they already got to that one. Any other ideas for sites that arenot so obvious or regularly used that might already be banned??

I think that's absolutely ludicrous that your work blocks peer trainer. what, they don't care about their employees health? Is there any way you can go to your it department and ask for it not to be blocked?

I would surf for anonymizers somewhere else besides work. There is a freeware one that is supposed to be good. Popular Science had a recent article about privacy issues that was very revealing. The anonmyzer that the reporter used found that the company sells (occasionally) information and history to the feds, so be aware. They are not a perfect type of species.
I suggest you ask why they block this site, and let us know. I would be interested in finding out if there is a solid reason. Maybe your employee health department can get you logged in on one of their computers so you can check your logs and comments during lunch breaks?

hey, i'm a high school and our computers have EVERYTHING blocked, so we've become quite the expert at anonymous proxies. ideas:
1) at HOMe search things like "anonymous proxies" and "proxy avoidance". try and somehow a good set of them and keep trying a few.
2) clear clear clear CLEAR your history daily. if a proxy avoider keeps coming up, they'll figure it out. our school did.
3) if you have the tech ability, set up a proxy from your own house that you can access at work.
4) logmein.com is fantastic, but risky. make sure to make your password INCREDIBLE. it allows you to access your actual computer from at home, internet access and all. you listerally can pop your own desktop onto the screen, access your documents, everything, without uploading anything to a main server, it's as if actually being on your computer. BUT if anyone gets your password, it's as if they're in front of your computer and home and the havoc could be incredible. so be careful.
hope i helped! =)

It is blocked because all public forums are blocked... and peer trainer has a public forum on it.
