11:09 what would we do without you pointing out that the OP spelled censoring wrong. Do us all a favor and get off PT.

I had one of my posts nixed twice as soon as I posted them. Then i stared another thread about censoring (did I get that right?) my thread asking for other website that help with weight loss, to offer things PT doesn't like water trackers, automatic calorie calcs, weight graphs, etc. and this poster came on and said she was Laura99 and that has the right to delete any thread she wanted to because PT saved her life.
People are playing god on PT now? deciding what website can save us and which ones can't? Deciding what we should read and what we shouldn't read? hmm.....

A couple (husband and wife) started this website, and continue to run it, pretty much by themselves. I don't know if they're fat or skinny, but they're very nice, and if you e-mail peertrainer, you'll get a nice response from one of them. Their names are Habib and Jackie.

Agree 10:55!
To the OP why don't you google PeerTrainer and read up about the website. I love stories about people who go out there and set up something like this...it is a tremendous service and IT IS FREE for the users.
My guess is it takes a good deal of work to get something like this up and running. My emails to PT have been answered by the cofounders...and with kindness and attention.

PT just proved our point!
Thanks PT for taking off another thread YOU thought wasn't good enough for everyone. The thread was called "Why Does it Seem Comments are So Rude Lately"
Dictatorship is alive and well I see.

Please, PT is far far far from a dictatorship. I think people sometimes need to get a bit of a perspective before posting and ranting about this stuff. Other free websites, e.g. Craigslist, also monitor and remove postings. If you are unhappy with the way this free service is managed, you always have the option to leave and continue your discussion or topic in another forum.

I agree with PT monitoring site
You know, people who are opening themselves up and being vulnerable can be easily crushed by cruel or overtly negative comments from insensitive posters. I think it is a positive thing that someone is monitoring this site and keeping things decent. Thanks PT!

They have deleted plenty of threads in the past, so I wasn't making false accusations, because I've watched it happen before.

That's not really PT admin commenting. There's someone prowling the threads signing themselves as such, and they never jump into an argument - they just delete the worst of the sludge and go on their merry way. They will answer a technical/how-to question from time to time though.

I would just like to say it is great it is censored, I do not want to stumble across something inappropraite or negative for that matter. I truly love this web site and am so grateful to be able to take in such an incredibly healthy lifestyle that is free. On that note THANKS PT JOB WELL DONE!!!

I for one am so thankful for Peertrainer. I stumbled across it back in June and have been here ever since.
I have looked at and tried another site and find it to be way too difficult and time consuming to navigate.
I love the way our logs are set up.
I just want to say thank you to those who keep this site going.

Dear PT:
Thank you very much for this wonderful, free website. Daily accountability on this site is helping me to save my life, in the form of staving off coronary artery disease. Thank you from the bottom of my (getting healthier) heart.

Gratitude
Look how long it took people to begin thanking the people who run PT. I'm on it my first day, and i was waiting for that.
But so be it. Sometimes, people get upset. If moderation were going too far, we all would be, but it doesn't seem that way at all.
