EMAIL THREAD
Seriously..all political threads..let's relate them back to weightloss!
I've long suspected Ann Coulter using PT for her own reasons. Pretending that she's a member, getting us all riled up. I simply do NOT understand why people waste their time posting political stuff on a weight loss site. Hello! Did you update your log yet? Exercise? Support your team members?
Anybody with me on this?

just in case anyone does get this..my Ann Coulter reference is a joke...but my plea to relate stuff back to weight loss is NOT!

sorry honey, you don't control PT or anyone on here. I agree this site is for weight loss and a damn good tool for it, but you cannot control what others want to talk about. just don't open those threads. easiest way to avoid them.

What I really don't like about the political threads...not everyone in here is an American and those who aren't American's aren't following the elections...we are using this site for weight loss/maintenance/health benifits.

Maybe this isn't the intended use of the PT lounge...but sometimes I spend time checking out conversations when I'm trying to avoid giving in to snack temptations. When I'm just looking for diversions, political conversation does the job just as well as anything else. And I'm not even American!

If some of the threads don't interest you, dont read them! I, for one, love reading about all sorts of topics. Like the last poster said, it provides me with something to do besides eat!

It is really easy NOT to open threads that aren't of interest to us. Just open the ones you are interested in, and have time for.
