I don't weigh much but...

Hey everyone. I need help! I am 5'2 and 116lbs... while my weight is average and even slightly on the low side.. my stomach seems to be where ALL of my fat goes to. When I am standing and look down I cannot for the life of me even see my toes... let alone my feet.

So... I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what kinds of exercise I should be doing/how much exercise to lose this weight.. and what kind of foods I should be eating. I realize that you can't pick which part of your body loses weight... but right now I have no idea what I should be doing and for a year I have been trying to lose the belly fat with zero results... I worked with a trainer at one point... I exercised on my own.. but I think I am doing something wrong.

Since you can't "spot burn" the best way to lose it is through cardio and some stomach related exercises.

Ditto the previous poster - losing fat is all about cardio, and you can't choose where it comes off. But it does tend to come off the places where you've got the most. It's not like you'll have no butt and a big buddha belly.

Cut out processed foods and white flour foods (anything with enriched flour), eat whole and lean.

I heard good results from a friend who tried Hip Hop Abs. It combines cardio with an ab workout. Also you might try cutting down on the alcohol (particularly beer). I've noticed a difference in just cutting out beer in my own diet regime. Good luck!
