Aloe vera gel

How good is aloe vera for the skin?where will I get good quality aloe vera gel?

I don't know how good it is in general, but I sometimes used it when my skin got very irritated (rashes, etc.), and it seemed to have a soothing effect. I was quite happy with it.

As to where to get it... I don't know. I always got the really cheap stuff that you ca get at any bigger drug store. I don't know if the more expensive ones are better...

My friend had an aloe vera plant, and she used to just cut of the tips and then use the juice whenever needed.

I got mine from a spa supply store - it's pretty cheap that way. I use it as an ingredient in face masks.

It is awesome after you've been out in the sun. I always take it on vacation with me. Cools the skin right down if you've baked too long. I get mine from Avon. They even supplied it at the resort I was staying at in Jamaica last year.

Not only is the gel good for burns and soothing skin but good aloe vera juice is good for your intestines if you have tummy issues. You can get good quality gel or juice at any natural health food store or places like whole foods, PCC even most grocery stores now have a natural health isle where they have it. If you get the juice make sure it is the non pulp kind. I have been using it for 3 years now, I drink about 5-6 oz a day and it really has helped with my tummy problems. I mean think about it, its gel is good for soothing burned skin so why wouldn't it be good for the inside as well.
