SAGGY SKINS

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SAGGY POTATOE SKINS BUT I WAS WONDERING WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THE SKIN AFTER THE FAT IS GONE? SHOULD ONE USE CERTAIN CREAMS TO HELP WITH ELASTICITY?

If it is a lot you will either just have to deal with it or have it cut off. No amount of special creams will make you get the elasticity back. Now if you have been strength training and toning and losing slowly you mgiht be able to avoid a lot of it. But if you carried your weight in the belly area and had or lost a lot, say 60+ just know you will have to deal with this.

Sad but true...10:03 is right. And even if you're under 40 and lost the weight slowly, it can still be problematic.

I watch programs about it alot. For those who have lost over 100 pounds there is anywhere from 15-35 pounds of excess skin that is removed.
Oh how I wish I had never gotten heavy.

Don't let the fear of it keep you from losing weight. I've lost 86 pounds, and yes, I have some saggy skin-but it's much easier to deal with than all those extra pounds, and it's not as bad as the stories you see on tv, where people are in surgery for hours having it cut off. I've exercised almost every day, so I can honestly say exercise helps. Tummy flaps and saggy bottoms are what spandex is for. Thank heaven for Spanxx!

Spandex may be great but you can't truly fit into the right size jeans if you have 20 pounds of loose hangy skin on your belly. I have a friend who loss 95 pounds and wears a 10, but she has to push the skin into the jeans and it doesn't look that great. She could easily fit into an 8 or even a 6 if it weren't for that flabby skin that she has to tuck in. Of course it is always better then being obese.
