I'm addicted to nutrition and fitness news and love to workout. I'm always up for a challenge, and find the rhythms of MC Hammer awe-inspiring. I started www.FitBottomedGirls.com to inspire all women to workout and eat right not just to look good but to FEEL good!

I am an art director living in Kansas City, Missouri that has transformed herself in the last 5 years from an overweight fatass to one of those skinny girls that I use to hate. It hasn't been an easy journey but all the sweat has been so worth it! I can say that I am in the best shape of my life!

I'm a new found workout-aholic. I feel my best after a good workout!

i'm a classic lazy butt who's recently caught the work out bug. i started training for a half marathon a couple months ago and now i'm hooked on running. i'm trying to do the modeling acting thing in la so that's incentive to keep things in check.

I'm 43 and have been SLOWLY losing weight and becoming fit. I was tired of being frumpy - I want to look as good on the outside as I feel on the inside!

Im a 26 year old who loves everything fitness. I love to read magazines, books, blogs, etc. about fitness. My job keeps me mostly fit with alot of running up and down basement stairs, lugging heavy tools, materials. I help my fiance run his water filtration/water pump business. This includes a variety of jobs such as installation, paperwork, restocking, etc. So most days I get in alot of moving around! Now that spring has arrived I am preparing for veggie gardening. I just love eating the green beans as Im picking them!! One in the basket, one in my mouth. Reading has been a long time favorite for me. I am always game for a good book. My two cats, bella, and kealey love to snuggle when Im reading. Im stopping the rambling now!

I'm a married type ii diabetic who's weight shot up gradually after high school and found myself 24 yrs old at 195 lbs. I gained 87 lbs with my pregnancy, topping out at 282 lbs at the end of my 3rd trimester. I only dropped to 250 lbs after having him, and for the last 10 yrs have slowly taken off the weight and had gotten down to 160 lbs. I hit a plateau, then found out I had to go back on insulin December 2008, which caused a weight gain of 20 lbs in 3 months. I'm currently btwn 175-180, and have recently hired a personal trainer and joined an athletic club, where I hope to get fit, lose the excess weight and continue on my path of a healthy life style.

I'm vegan and trying to reverse years of eating standard American fare. I have become passionate about nutrition and trying to become just as passionate about fitness. I have a long way until I achieve my goals, but I am ready for this journey.

I am turning 30 this summer and trying to finally address my emotional eating. I am an active person (workouts 4-5 days a week) but I tend to overeat, binge, or eat when I am not really hungry. Now that I am older I have noticed that my weight and health are changing and I want to start on a path of balance now so that I can age healthfully.

26 years old, training for my first triathlon!

Graphic Artist from Vancouver. Love the outdoors, especially in the wintertime. Love art and funky jewellery. Big fan of the mountains and hiking through them on Sunday mornings. I have a strong dislike for vegetables.

I am a single person who doesn't like to cook much. I try to do some kind of exercise every day. I like to exercise and think it is a good habit but it can get old at times.

I am 22 years old, approximately 133lb (just over 9 stone). Whilst this may not seem a lot, I prefer to be at around 120lb (around 8 stone). Having put on the extra weight since I stopped regular dancing, I would like to get back to my previous weight of 120lb and also eat a bit more healthily.

Undergrad student, trying to work out a healthy lifestyle so I can feel more confident in social settings.

Part time student and full time office worker, my SO works long hours which means that we eat late and eat a fair bit of take out as some nights I am too tired to cook by the time he gets home. We moved from a small town to large city about a year ago and have found it really hard to meet people here, which leaves me lots of time for mindless eating.

I have always been an athlete. I have really never had to worry about what I was eating becasue I was so active, I burned everything off. Now that I am getting older. I am finding it harder to schedule time to work out and eat healthy. joining Weight Watchers has really helped me look at what I have been putting in my body. Now I just have to work on scheduling my exercise better. With a puppy it is harder to get to the gym so we have been walking at night. I hope to be able to work in time at the gym this summer in addition to time outside with my puppy!

I tend to leave these "about me" sections blank, mostly because I'm not sure what the important bullet points are. I'm 31, 5'3" tall, I'm an Illustrator and a Graphic Designer. I live in Brooklyn, NY. I run, badly. I've been trying to loose weight for over a year now, and I've lost about 25 lbs. I have a fitness/weightloss blog : http://morfit.blogspot.com/

AF pilot with insane schedule and a lifetime of unhealthy eating attitudes and habits.... workin on it, looking for support.

I am a single mom and work in real estate and love the outdoors and have a strong interest in organic cooking and green living.

I have been very thin before but I wouldn't say I was healthy or fit. I am much heavier after my first pregnancy, but well on my way to accomplishing my goals!

I'm 18 going on 19, at the cusp of being overweight. YIKES! For a sophomore in college, that may be normal but I don't think it should be. I like being healthy, and fit, and I know I can be by changing my daily habits. I'm around 148, 150 right now, and I want to be down to 130 by my 19th birthday - December 12th! I have about 3 months, exactly 89 days. Let's see then... 90 days, about 18 pounds - so about 6 pounds a month. That I can do!

I am 23 years old. Just finished up college.

I am 22 years old. I have recently taken up swimming and jogging which I do with some of my work colleagues. I am having a wicked time doing this and it takes up a lot of my spare time! In the spare time I do have I also enjoy attending conventions (no I am not a trekkie!), watching my favourite shows, cooking and spending time with my loved ones!

I'm a 26 year old full time student. After years of eating disorders that weren't making me thinner, but killing me slowly I decided it was time I made my life count instead of my body.

Ive been into fitness for over five years now. grammar school i always played after school sports and in high school i was in JROTC raiders team (physical training) for the whole four years. then after HS i joined kickboxing for a few months. by doing so I'm in pretty good shape!!! tho i believe there's always room for improvement.

I just turned 30 this year, 3 days after giving birth to my and my husband's 5th (count 'em-5th!) child. 1 month before I became pregnant I had a brain surgery that left me in the hospital for 5 days afterwards, and quite weak for a while as well. I was sick through the whole hospital stay and lost the last few pounds I wanted to lose but had never really pushed for. Because of my weakness/inactivity and being pregnant, over the last 11 months I put on an extra ~30 lb. above where I would like to be. Now my son is 2 months old and I'm 148 lb. I have always been pretty careful about my shape but had a lapse in eating/exercising when pregnant with my 2nd child 9 yrs. ago. I was able to lose 40 lb. over 2 years of working out/being active, and eating healthy. My normal weight has always been around 127-130, and if I can get back to that I will be happy. Of course, if I could get down to the 118 I was when I came home from brain surgery, that would be SUPER EXCELLENT to me, but I want to take it one step at a time right now. Five or 10 pounds lost would be a huge boost for me. Things are already hard enough trying to lose weight and get back in shape.

I'm 22 years old, I am finishing my Marketing Degree and then hopefully moving on to an MBA! I'm a vegetarian so no meat products for me.

I am 20 years old and a sophomore in college and at my highest weight ever, which is 230. I have always struggled with my weight from the time I was in elementary school. My goal is to loose around 100 pounds. I know this will take hard work and dedication but I HAVE to and NEED to stick to my guns about this.

I've been seriously committed to this weightloss journey for over a year now. I graduated Grad school in 2007 weighing 230lbs! I started at 193 which was still overwight for my hight. Now I'm down to 168 and I'm looking for new supports for this next phase.

I am a 40 yr old female. I currently work from home and work long hours. I have put on at least 35 lbs in the last two years. I am going to live a healthier lifestyle and I am looking for support to keep me on track.

I'm a single 32-year-old woman in Alaska. The stress of breaking my foot and buying my first house in the summer of 2009 caused my weight. I'm working on bringing myself back to a healthier level.

I am a runner, a vegetarian, a foodie, a reader, and a perpetual student. I like to knit, run, read, write, and hangout with people.

I am a 30 yo female who knows what I need to do to be healthy, but have found it hard to commit to the lifestyle for the past couple of years! I am sick of being overweight, so I am going to listen to my body and start treating myself better.

I live in GA, work in the medical field, and I'm about to have my first wedding anniversary.

Diet Blogger: check out www.fitshionable.com to see my journey

I am 21 years old. I started my weight loss journey at 417 pounds!!

I'm a college art instructor and mother.

I have been married for almost 13 years, we have 2 kids ages 4 and 2. I work in a desk job, so I have spent the last 11 years sitting on my butt, and decided that I need to change some things.

Single mom, late 30's - don't want to stay singlle forever

Struggling to lose 10 pounds. Hoping that Tracy Anderson can do for me what she did for Madonna and Gwen.

I'm 24 and maintaining a loss of over 100 lbs, all of which was lost through a combination of mindful eating, consistent exercise and positive thinking! I'm a graphic designer living in Philadelphia. I also enjoy: photography, my two cats (Fiona and Rosemary), bicycling everywhere I can, cooking & baking, NPR, tending to my miniature window garden and city life in general.

I am a 40 yr old mother of 4. I am happily married to the love of my life for almost 20 years. I am a SAHM due to the fact that 2 of my children still at home are special needs. I recently moved back to PA after living in KS for 7 years and lost my workout buddy :( I have had a very hard time getting back on track with my weight loss and workouts.

I'm a mommy of one, and a student in the field of Personal Training. I work out 6 days a week, at home. I occasionally workout at a gym for my resistance training. :)

I'm a 43-yo mom who is determined to set a good example for my dd.

I am 23 years old. I am in the Army and am currently in Iraq. I had knee surgery last year and have gained a lot of weight. I don't know how to handle the weight gain or how to lose it.

I live in the Humboldt Park area of Chicago. I am a 56 yr old single woman who is currently in film studio earning my grad degree in digital cinema! I would like a bike/walk/workout partner.

Age: 24 Height: 4'11 Current Weight (5/9/10): 155lbs

I am a 19 male that is currently a student. i used to powerlift and play football but decided not to further myself in football because the effects it would have on my college. i stopped working out because of all the working i do with school and have gained 60 lbs. some muscle and some not. i am very self concious about myself and it really effects me everyday so basically i want to feel better about myself.

I am 20 years old. I think I am already fit, though there is always room for improvement. I am 5'5" and currently 150 pounds. I've already came down from 157 so that is good, but I would like to bring it down another 15. I enjoy cooking and reading and working out. I am finishing up my sophomore year of college and looking to make some behavioral changes this summer- primarily with my eating habits.

I'm a mother of two boys ages 22 and 14. I've been over weight all of my married life but finally decided that I need to take control of my life. Now I don't think about food like I use to.

I'm 36 years old, married and have two beautiful, healthy daughters, ages 15 and 10 years old. I lead a rather active lifestyle and recently started running and LOVE IT!!!

I'm mum to 3 boys and work full time as a sales advisor.

Soon to be 47 year mom of 3 boys 14, 11 and 9. I am a teacher and boys are are very busy in activities year round.

I'm a 21 year old female, I've never been massively overweight but equally never happy with my body. I have recently put on a bit of weight having got an office job after leaving university and sitting for 9 hours a day eating and drinking coffee! I have tried so many times to get my ideal body but lost motivation and failed...2011 is my year!

I'm a college student and a skinny active chick in a fat lazy chick's body.

I am 62 years old and have been on some sort of diet most of my adult life. I had some success with ww years ago but for the last several years have been in a rut...lose a few pounds and then gain back.

I am a SAHM of four little people whom I also homeschool.

Almost 40 yr old Wife, mother of 6 (3 biological) kids. 4'11 3/4" 138#s and wishing I could 'blink' my stomach away!!

I'm a 20-something college graduate trying to make it through the recession with a fit and fab body and healthy mind.

I'm an empty-nester, 46, always busy, but my job is sedentary.

I'm a very active person, I just want to stop eating so much and I need motivation because my family is ok with living an unhealthy life, while I am not. I'm on a competitive soccer team so all my teammates have seemingly perfect bodies so I feel self-conscience at pool parties. I'm 5'4", weigh 128#, and have a 31" waistline. I know it's healthy to have a 32" waistline but this still looks bad on my body type since I have short legs too.

Ex Athlete/Trainer intrested in Health and Fitness Maintenace. Weightloss just comes with the territory. Love outdoors and very motivating to those that need a little push. Support, Discipline & Encouragement is Key!!

I was an avid runner until I blew my knee out a few years ago. I gained tons of weight and am having a difficult time losing it. I am married and the mother of 3 grown children, two of whom live in Germany.

I work in sales, commute for 3-4 hours daily, train horses and am a busy person that makes gym time 3-5 days days a week. My stress level contributes to binge eating to make me happy when I feel stressed

24 years old, work with disabled people. Began running around 18 months ago and it changed my life! Have run numerous 10k races since then and one half marathon but looking to do lots more. One day when my life is less full I will do a full marathon. Maybe more.
