I was 200 pounds and lost 55 on my own - then I was single. Now, I am engaged and found 20 pounds that I want to lose before my wedding later this year. I just don't have the motivation or transportion so I have to watch what I put in my pie hole, as the last time, it was all exercise.
I hate that I'm so fat. I feel it's taking over anything happy that I want in my life.
I am a 21 year old college student. I was born and raised in Hawaii and still live here. I am in school to become a nurse. With school and work and being busy a lot, its hard to eat healthy. I also like to go out with my girls for drinks which does not always lead to good eating habits!
I am a mother of two children! One of which I gave birth to about 2 months ago (31 Aug 09). I gained a lot of weight during the pregnancy and would like to get back to my normal weight. I gained 65 lbs during the pregnancy and have already lost 40lbs of it. I seemed to have reached a plateau. I will be attending fitness classes starting next week, in hopes to help me tone and loose weight.
I took an office position and gainned 15lbs last year in 2009. I like to walk and hike and dance and cook at home.
I am a devoted Army wife and a mother to 4 young boys. I love being a mom and a wife but have found I let them take over and I forgot about me .
In 1992 I weighed 104 pounds and felt great. I ran everyday and lifted weights. Fast forward 18 years 34 pounds latter no energy and no motivation
I am a full time graduate student, which leaves me with a surprising amount of free time, but at very odd hours. I was a fat kid and even though I live a fairly healthy life now with few weight changes, I feel as though I'm starting out behind. All my favorite activities would be so much easier if I didn't have this extra weight to carry around. I recently saw my cousin and her husband do a short triathlon and was completely inspired. I was once a swim instructor and I cycle all the time (generally because I don't like paying for parking), but am a terrible runner.
5'8" 125 pounds
I'm 5'2", starting at 220lbs. I'm a full time student, single-mom in my early 30s. I don't play sports and I usually spend all my time studying, eating, & sleeping. The weight is slowly increasing and now it needs to stop.
