After being medically retired from the United States Army I really let myself go and after a few years of inactivity I had really packed on the weight. A lady friend two years ago gave me a mirror for Christmas and when I realized I was avoiding it due to my own reflection I knew I had to get back into shape. I started walking in January of 2008. Only a few hundred meters at first but each week I added a little more until I was able to walk 4 miles in about an hour. By the summer time I was able to run about a quarter of of the 4 mile circuit and last fall I finally managed to run the entire thing in about 36 minutes. Now I run the 4 mile circuit each day at sub 7 minute miles and do 200 elevated crunches as a top off. I've lost 10 pant sizes since I started and I feel terrific. I still have a ways to go but I have faith that I will get there in time.


Happily Married, Retired U.S. Army Female, 21 Years of Service, (Got Pregnant 4 months from Retirement @ 41 Years Old.) My daughter is Now 21 Months Old (Girl). Gain over 50 Pounds and got lazy. In Nov 08, I was a whopping 280 and got tired of rolling around in my fattness and wanted to look good for my self and my Daughter and Keep my hubby Happy and lost 22 pounds by Jan 09. Turned up the heat in Feb thru April and lost 48 pounds. I work for a company in Alexandria, Va and Join the Biggest Loser in the Company, We started 3 weeks ago and so far I have lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks and I am ready for more weight loss around the pilsbury dough part. I love making it happen and learning. I like to motivate and be motivated and be a team player





Love to read. Body Pump is fun. Hate spinning, but at least I always come out of that class sweating.... Love to cook.




















Working mom of three awesome kids, wife, vegetarian who loves to meditate and practice yoga. I have never really liked running but I want to conquer it. I have run/walk two 5Ks. My goal is to fully run a 5K in April 2010. In August '09 I weighed 226 lbs. I now weigh 197 lbs.








I am a 27 year mother of 2. I have a wonderful husband and i just want to be around for my kids and my husband and the rate i am going i am not. i just need motivation, i did for a while, and did good but then just lost motivation, food is my ememy.





Don't mind working hard and working out but have trouble eating the right foods. Not as snacker and don't eat a lot of "bad"foods but still seem to be adding the pounds slowly..








I am a 41yo mother of 3 boys, a Labor and Delivery Nurse and a Real Estate agent. Seperated after 19 years of marriage, and am wondering if my future will include working in the Peace Corp or hoarding animals in place of having a meaningful relationship (no offense to the Peace Corp) I strongly feel that people don't look at prospective mates and say "well, she is fat, but I bet she has a TERRIFIC personality, let me go and see" So I feel like my obeisity will hamper my ability to have a decent social life. I don't think that I am sexually attractive, so why would anyone else?





I'm 65 overweight have lived a fabulous life as a professional musician, partying and living the high life with the stars and societies giants. Which has lead me to the physical condition I'm in presently. I ingest 20 pill a day to keep my BP and sugar levels normal. I take pills to keep my heart pumping and other such function that are too many to mention.


I'm a 50 year old wife, mother of 2 and Nana of 1, I never had any weight issues growing up but gained 65 lbs with my first pregnancy and 25 years later am still trying to lose that baby weight (plus some)!!!
