I am a 34 year old Mother of 2 living in Texas. I'm originally from SLC, UT. which is where all of my relatives live.

I am a 46 year old mother of 3 daughters,16,14 and 10. Married 22 years, I am a 6 year breast cancer survivor. I gained 35 pounds in the year following my double mastectomy. I can't seem to stick to any one plan. I can hardly bear to see myself in pictures. I'm 5'2 and 167 pounds.

I'm a 30-year-old wife and homeschooling mother to one daughter. Through college my weight crept up gradually. I had horrible habits like not eating all day and living on coke, never exercising, etc. On my graduation day, an acquaintance told me flat out I'd gained too much weight. I fumed about what she'd said, but I also dedicated the next 6 months to getting in shape. I went from 152 to 125 in about 5 months by following a food combining lifestyle, doing cardio and lifting weights. After a while, I stopped exercising as frequently, but my weight stayed down or even decreased due to very healthy eating. I became pregnant, and did a great job with eating and squeezed exercise in whenever I could. Shortly after the birth, I was only about 7 pounds more than pre-pregnancy. I stayed at this weight for about 2 years. Unfortunately, my eating habits slipped. I began drinking sodas and neglecting to eat vegetables (my husband is a strict meat-eater). In addition, when I'm depressed (which began to be frequently) I "reward" myself. The result is that I'm now hovering at 150 pounds and heavily addicted to sugar, which is showing up as health problems. Somehow that number--150--is the one that makes things click in my head. I have just realized that the picture I have of myself in my head is no longer what I truly look like. I am ready to look and feel healthy and pretty again!

Mother of 2 activie boys who are older and now I'm really ready to focus on myself.

I have been struggling with weight problems for alot of my life which I recently found out was because of thyroid problems. In 2009 I had my thyroid removed and went through cancer treatment...since my surgery I gained almost 50 pounds and I just have been struggling with getting rid of it!
