I'm mostly recovered now, and happy to be able to jog and jump again. I've lost the 10 pounds I put on after the accident, and now I want to lose another 35. I'll start with the next 10.
I'm working with a great personal trainer once a week, but have stalled in my exercise and food tracking because of a demanding travel schedule. I need help staying on track, and am looking for people to whom I can be accountable, and who can be accountable to me.
On Memorial Day, when I joined PT, I wrote "For now I'm concerned with building up as much muscle as I've lost to injury and recovery, and balancing my diet so that I consume more fibre and less beer and snacks." I'm happy to say that I accomplished my goals, and now I want to resume my efforts.
My pipe dream is to look good in a bathing suit. I'm not talking bikini, even. A maillot would be lovely.

I am 24 and 122lbs. My goal weight is 108lbs (number doesn't count as much as look/feel to compensate for muscle etc) and I'd like to build a lot of muscle. I never stick to my diets/exercise plans so this time I am ready to do it! No quitting for me this time!!!
I love sports but have a hard time motivating myself to do physical activity and I LOVE food- all sorts of food! I'm learning to be healthier now and make exercise a regular routine to keep my cardiovascular health up. I need to learn the routine now so that I can keep it as a good habit as I get older.

My name is Kathleen, I'm 21 and like most people in this country, I've had so much trouble trying to lose weight. I was always on the chubby side, however, My body was at a healthy weight of 140 for years. My body just seemed to adjust to that weight. Even at 140, I could still have afforded to lose more [ I'm 5'3'']. For awhile it was about how I looked and not about how healthy I was. As I got older and other factors such as stress and stomach problems, I ballooned up to 170+ pounds!! It was as if it came out of nowhere. No matter what I tried doing, nothing seemed to really work. However, this does not deter me from wanting to continue my goal to lose weight. I hope to help others in doing this. I'm outgoing, lively and the life of the party type and I want to get my life back. I'm young and I want to be able to run around and enjoy my youth while it's still here.

I don't know what happened - but in just the past year I've gained 15 pounds! I am still what you would technically consider slim, but I know that if I don't curtail my eating habits now, my weight is only going to go up. I have lost 30 pounds since Christmas and now I am working on the next 30. In an ideal world i would weigh 125. I am not sure if that realistic but considering i am 5'1, it should be. I have hit a plateau around 150-155 and need to refocus my attention on weight loss. I start school in two weeks and start internship in four and in four weeks i would like to be solidly in the 140s and not creeping in and out. I need to have a serious caloric deficit in order to lose weight but i want to prepare for healthy eating after the weight comes off, learn how to maintain my exercise habits through working out with friends and making it a social thing. I want to drink more green juices and leaner proteins, more veggies, more whole foods, less take out, less drinking, less sweets, less eating bc of boredom. I have crossed the 55 mark and since starting menopause I have gained consistently. Every year I lose the same 20 lbs and gain them back and find 5 more. I walk everywhere (nyc) I go to the gym consistently bootcamp 2x+ a week, core classes, yoga, and still the same. Anyway...tired of the same cycle hoping this can really bring on a permanent change.

I'm extremely knowledgeable about fitnees, health, nutrition, diet dos and don'ts but my problem is dedication and consistency. Also, i guess i'm a "foodie" and LOVE/crave sweets. I'm not one who eats in tragedy or depression...i just like the taste & sensation of food. I always joke and say i'm going to join a foodies anonymous program, lol. BUt i seriously feel like i need to sometime :-) The thing is I don't really eat huge portions, but for me any portion minus daily exercise = weight gain. It's the chemical makeup of my body. And so it is a life-long struggle.

Although I monitored what I ate, I only moderately changed my eating habits. However, I did do a 30-45 min aerobic exercise video 5 days a week. Unfortunately, I forget what I did to get to that place. So as a result, I am back where I started, and am now starting again.
