I am in my early 30s and single. I have lost about 25 pounds in the past year and a half and am now ready to lose the rest.

I'm 29, and have just graduated with my MA. I will also start another graduate degree in mid-June, and I will begin teaching elementary school! Finally, I will earn a pretty decent salary and can improve financially, and I'm also looking to use my income to improve my health and appearance overall. I'm in a long-term relationship with a great man, who is commited to growing with me. This time for me to get healthy and fit while taking on these other challenges is all about mental, physical, and psychological cohesion. I'm excited!

I am an extrovert with most things, I want to be done with my weight struggle once and for all and enjoy life as a healthy person

36 year old female, 5'5 165 lbs. Need to lose 30+ pounds. Have severe back fat and muffin top

35 yr old female. Married with one child. I am about 167 lbs right now and I have not been below 160lbs in about 7 years now. I would love to do this for myself as well as my family. I have been successful with Weight Watchers in the past, but it's really tough doing this when my husband and son are in good shape.

I am 57 years old, mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. I am retired and live with my husband and two "girls"...(our dogs). I like to keep busy, whether it be working around the house or in the yard in my flower gardens, having the grandchildren to watch. One would think I wouldn't have a problem getting motivated to exercise but I just can't wrap my head around it right now.......but I need to!!

I'm Kim. I'm twenty one years old and currently living in a small town in Pennsylvania where I go to college. I'm a psychology major with a minor in philosophy and I'm finishing up my second year. I'm originally from Pittsburgh and I absolutely love any metropolitan area, although Philly and NYC are my favorites. I love to just wander around and see what I find. I spend most of my time reading(memoirs mostly), listening to music(kindof pop-punkish and alternative, I guess), hanging out with friends, shopping, and learning things I'll never need to know.

I'm a stay at home mom of 3, I also sing with a band. I have been 210lbs before and lost 70 lbs by exercise and cutting back on calories. It's not so easy for me to lose weight now--maybe it's because I'm in my 30's-maybe it's because I have to take care of everyone else and by the time I get to me I'm tired.

I am very active, I love to exercise outside. I sometimes struggle to get to the gym but once I am there, I get into the groove pretty fast. I have always been able to eat whatever I want and since I have turned 30 it's become so much harder to lose the last 20 lbs.

I am 52 years old with a 20 year old daughter and 14 year old son. My husband and I have been together since college and would still choose each other after all these years. I have worked as a self-employed graphic designer since my son was born.

I'm 49, soon to be 50 and have gained 30 lbs over the past few years. I am in the process of taking it off but it's been a really slow process.

I am a busy mom, Coach (Cheer) and wife. I like walking, biking, rollerblading it's just trying to find the time to do it. If it's for someone else i can fit them in. Just not ME!!!

I'm married with 3 daughters (16, 13, 81/2), I've worked full time for the last 4 years and have steadily been gaining weight. I am at the heaviest I've ever weighed and feel dowdy, nothing fits! I've become a couch potato and enjoy alot of the reality TV shows. I am tired all the time and love to nap. I have diabetic tendencies (insulin resistance) and know I need to get control of my weight. My oldest is on the autism spectrum and is driving me to ....food! It's very exhausting. Can't seem to find time to workout.

I am seeking new directions. So far I'm lost. But PEERtrainer is giving me hope. I am a performing artist who doesn't perform. Very bad. My weight and other issues keep me off the scene. I have a masters degree and a resume of experience in managerial/supervisory government work. But I turned my back on the security of government work to become an artist. I am married to a performer who is very active in his work. He wishes I were too. And of course he is a nut about weight. He is thin, but flabby. Eats very little. Doesn't exercise. I exercise more than he does. My husband is totally anti junk food so it is easy to keep the right food in the house. I just gotta learn to eat less of it.

i am a 21 year old college student. i've gained about 40 pounds in the last 2 or 3 years. i gained the last 24 of it within the 6 months. this is the heaviest ive ever been in my life, and ive never felt more helpless. i have no idea how to get it off. ive started hiking the hill to cal state 2-3 times a week, and it seems to be helping.

41, single, mom of boy 16, girl 17 who is leaving me to go to college soon! Independent IT consultant and poker player wannabe. Nearly 2 years ago I quit smoking and gained 40lbs in literally a month. That was quite an experience, one I will never EVER do again. I've been at this weight loss thing since early March of '06. I've lost 45 pounds so far. I'd like to lose 30 more but would be happy with 20 at this point. This is a really slow go!

Stay at home mom of three 11,9,7 Wife to great man/ friend/GS leader/Christian

I am a psychology professor in my mid 30's, married with 1 child. I like to exercise, but I also LOVE food. I'm working on keeping a food journal and making healthier decisions. I've always considered myself athletic, but it's harder for me to keep the pounds off as I get older.

I have too many things I like to do! I'm a 33 year old professional, and very busy elementary public school art teacher in Richmond, Va. I keep active doing spin classes, Zumba, swimming ,and weight training..... there's only one small problem, I'm inconsistent with my diet and exercise program. I've also been struggling with left foot problems( heel spurs and tendinitis) that sometimes interfere with the types of exercise I like to do. I've always been an active girl, so I usually bounce back fast, I just need to commit! A couple of years ago, I began to run and was addicted. Shortly after I found out I had heal spurs and slowly but surly the pain increased. I guess that problem contributed to some of my weight gain and went into a depression and a funk! Well, we all know there are alternative activities to do like swimming and cycling. Finally got out of the funk and I'm on the road once again to becoming more fit. My goal is to run/walk a Napa Valley Marathon by June 2008. I'm wearing a night sling for my foot that will help the healing process, hopefully I'll be good to go by September to start training.

I LIVE IN CHICAGO IL. I WEAR A SIZE 10 IN PANTS AND MEDIUM OR LARGE SHIRTS.I HAVE A 1 YEAR OLD BABY, I'M 18 YEARS OLD. SO IT'S BEST TO LOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOU'RE YOUNG. RIGHT? I LOVE ANYTHING WITH MELTED CHEESE LIKE:CHEESE FRIES, TACOS, NACHOS, CHIPS SMOOTHERED IN MELTED CHEESE. I LOVE CHIPS! THATS MY WEAKNESS...OH AND OUT FOOD.

I'm a 20 year old college student at Nebraska. I've been chubby since grade school and i finally want to buckle down and lose the extra weight. I really want to be healthier and of course look good in cute clothes! I've been on numerous diets, but can never quite stick to it. I hope here I can get the encouragement I need to finally reach my goals.

when i started college, two years ago....i lost about 40 - 50 lbs. Being away from home and around people, who I wasnt sure how they treat me, made me so nervous. I barely ate and when I did, it was a small salad. When I came back home for breaks, everyone commented on how amazing I looked. I loved all the new attention from boys I was getting, and how much easier it was to find clothes. I'm kind of disappointed to say that since then I've sort of let myself go. I am nowhere near where I used to be, but I'm so fearful of going back to that place. I've gained SO much self-confidence since I lost all that weight, and done things I know I would have never done before. And I'd like to continue gaining more self-confidence and trying more new things! I am going to keep losing weight until I reach my ultimate goal (about 35 lbs to go) but this time do it by exercising and eating RIGHT....not barely eating :-)

i am 52 years old and retired. i have had a weight problem for my entire life, healthy eating is not new to me. i seemed to have lost my motivation. i just need to get back on track. i am very unhappy with myself!

I'm a 30 year old military wife and mother of two young girls.

I'm 22, single, and about to graduate from college. I've always struggled with my weight and regularly fluctuate between 155-160. I've been unable to break that 155 and I need help! Ultimately, I'd like to lose 20 lbs and/or wear a size 4 comfortably. Right now I'm an 8, but wear a 6 in many stores. I tend to put on muscle easily, but can't seem to get rid of that layer of fat that prevents it from showing.

I'm 19, a (full time) sophomore at college while working anywhere between 20-30 hrs. a week. I would like to lose 30-40 lbs. ..the right way, not by some crazy "only liquid" diet crap that doesn't work. I'm not looking to have an "amazing" figure or anything unrealistic, I want to be healthy and I want to be happy with my body.

I am a 24 year old catering manager at private gold club in Seattle. I have celiac disease which means I have a gluten intolerance. In addition I am also allergic to dairy, corn & soy. This makes my diet hard. Most people think that my allergies would mean that I wouldn't be able to eat anything and would be a health nut but no. I eat a lot of chips, potato chips & potatoes since those are safe. So I am really interested in getting healthier and gaining more self confidence. I love soccer and played my whole life but now I am scared that I am too out of shape. I really want to get back into being active on a daily basis.

I am 44 years old. Executive Legal Assistant. Married. 2 Children (6 & 8). Used to love dancing (belly dance and anything in between). Want to get back to that mode.

I'm 23, have an extra 20 pounds to lose and am afraid of developing diabetes in the future.

37 years old...no kids but busy none the less. Recently lost 20 lbs this year but needs to stay on track and lose another 20. Started actively running this year and love it to the point where I teach a Beginners' Running Clinic.

I am 36yr old married mother of three and I work in a health center with breastfeeding moms. I lost 40lbs this year and desire to finish my goal before the year is out.

I'm 28, and i'm in the process of applying to grad school. Since October of '06, i've lost fifty three pounds. (and i've won two 'biggest loser' contests at work!) I still have a good way to go, as i have years of being overweight/obese to make up for. I like to knit, read, swim, and cycle.

working mother of 11 and 3 year boys, US transplant to Australia a few years ago. trying to balance parenthood, being an executive in a new country, and a longish commute which cuts into exercise time.

I am a stay at home Mom of a 2 year old little boy. My husband, son, and I live on a houseboat in the florida keys

i'm married and have 3 kids, 24 boy, 21 boy, and 19 girl and i am a teacher. we are presently in the process of moving to new mexico from new jersey and it's crazy around here! i also love DOGS and have a yellow lab that is not the nicest of dogs, i did have a golden retriever who was wonderful but passed on. i love to read and dance and go out with women in their 20's from work and they seem to keep me young!

I am a 23 yr. old young professional. I work for the Girl Scouts as a Program Coordinator. It involves desk work, driving and working with young girls. I live with four other girls my age who vary in fitness levels. I love to cook though and am always looking for healthy new recipes. I have a history of weight problems. I was at my heaviest in high school topping off at 230lbs. Since then I have lost almost 70 pounds by changing my eating and lifestyle habits.

I am a work-a-holic. I love my job and am always on the run.

since i started studying at university i have gained a fair amount of weight and i now feel that i need to lose this! I spend a lot of my time studying, working and volunteering. i work as a support worker and volunteer as a playworker for mentally and physically disabled kids. i have a degree in psychology and am currently in my honours year. thats about it...

I make jewelry and paint...I am 70

I'm an artist and also work for an internet company so I do a lot of sitting all day. I really enjoy the gym, but I have issues getting motivated to going everyday. When I was 28, I weight almost 190 lbs. Over the last two years through weight training and diet I slimmed down to 145 lbs. I got off track when I moved and have no workout partners so I slipped back up to 160 lbs.

I'm 34 and 5ft4. I'm a programmer and I'm going to school also, so I spent lots of time in front of the computer. Sometimes when I'm busy, I just stay at my desk to have lunch. That means, I will have at least 9 hours sitting in my office. Hardly get out. I do like going to the gym to work out, but I also have lots of excuses for not to go. I know I need to do something to stay healthy. What I need the most is motivation and stay focus.

i just turned 28 yrs old and am a community relations manager at a nonprofit agency. now that i'm a couple years from the big 3-0, i really want to get in shape! plus, my 10 yr high school reunion is next year, soooooo - i need to get back up to par! i love to run and have started training again so i can be ready for races in the spring, and will add light weight training this month. i also love fun sports like bike riding and kick boxing. i'm not married, have no kids, but have a boyfriend and have definitely taken on the mindset of fat and happy. :)

I am 18 years old and I weigh 165 lbs. I have a bad habit of overeating when I get stressed of become upset. I also have a bad habit of giving into the temptation of eating bad foods. I understand that I am alot younger than most of the people on this website, but for as long as I can remember I have hated my body and I have had enough of it. I am going to be happy with my body.

24-year old web marketing consultant in NYC. I'm 5'10" and 170.0 pounds. In the past three years I've worn 5 different dress sizes and fluctuated by 30 pounds. My 60 hour work week, proximity to the candy basket, and stressful job have made it easy for me to blame my bad exercise and eating habits on my circumstances and not my willpower ;-)

I'm 24 years old. 5'7 tall and have always been in shape until a car accident in 1999 that caused a back injury of soft tissue damage. Now it is frustrating to work out and not be able to do what I use to do. I am very stubborn and hate to be pushed into doing things by other people. So today - I am pushing myself. I am looking to loose 20-30 pounds and look hot for my sister's wedding in August 2008. Plus I want to look hot for next summer when my boyfriend and I take our boat out. I'm tired of always covering up.

I think I am a very nice, honest, and fun person to be around....I will bend over backward for others...I love to give, give, give...but sometimes I think that is a downfall.

I am a 22 year old mother of one, a beautiful 3 month old girl. I am about to graduate from college and start grad school in January.

I used to be an athlete in high school and college. I played division one basketball at a college near by. I have NEVER been happy with my body or the way I look. Now that I look at old pictures, maybe I should have been!!! I have a tendency to get flabby fast. My eating habits lend to this. I seem to be very busy. I am divorced and recently engaged. I have two daughters who are great girls. I also am building a house with my fiance who also has two kids.

I'm a 25 year old state employee, which means I work at a desk all day. I enjoy reading and watching movies, going to the gym (when I make myself - I always enjoy it once I'm there), knitting, cooking and baking.

I AM A FABULOUS 23 YEAR OLD THAT LOVES THE LORD AND PPL IN MY LIFE! I RECENTLY LOST 24 LBS AND HAVE GAINED ABOUT 5 BACK..

Im 22 years old and Im a student. Half Cuban Half Argentine and born in Miami. Christian. Im 5'4..Ive never been terribly overweight but always chubby. My lowest weight was 130 and I felt great. I was 15 at the time. Right now I weigh 156 lbs and would like to lose a minimum of 20 pounds to be at 136 or t least 140. The Cuban half of me loves bread, rice and sweets and my argentine side loves greasy steaks, ribs, pasta and dulce de leche, Im always surrounded by these foods!

I live and work in Central PA, am just over age 50, female, with 2 kids in college, and am happily married. I have been overweight all my life. Joined WW in Jan 06 and went from 254 lbs to 165 lbs. I feel great, and much more fit, but am having a hard time with this last 10 - 20 pounds.

I am a graduate student that has gained 15 pounds over the last four months and wants to get back into exercising and eating healthy meals to lose 30 pounds from 160.

I'm a sophomore at MSU! I love it. I exercise alot, but I snack often. I've gone through times where I've lost weight quickly by not eating alot and exercising. I need to find a balance. I'm also a vegetarian. I'm training for a marathon.

I am a 23 year old woman and just graduated in environmental engineering. I am getting married in August 2009 and looking to hit my goal weight way before that date. I also am planning to go to law school so I need some nice established habits before more slaving away at the books. Before college I started dating a man who was such a great cook. I had an eating disorder and was only about 90 lbs. After dating him I moved up to 130 lbs when I was 2 years into college. After that, I moved off campus where I was in charge of all my food and sprung up to 160 lbs. I think it was mostly the sitting in class all day and then sitting at work in an office setting. Looking to melt this excess stuff ASAP

I am 67 years old. I work part-time as a lawyer. I weigh about 160. I need to weigh about 140.

Recent college graduate Just quit smoking 3 months ago fitday.com schedule

Soon to be 48 y/o RN, married mother of two very teenage girls. I have come to the realization that just because you "iron" your scrubs, they do not and should not constitute an "outfit". That is how close the the bottom I have come. Anyone in the same boat???

I'm a tall active girl with a tendency to overeat. I weigh around 160 but probably look about 140...I'd like to actually weigh 140 haha, anyways I'd really like to take control of my eating habits

I am 36 years old and I have a wonderful husband and a 19 year old daughter that just got married and a son that is 9. I love to hunt, spend time with my family, I love Jesus and I like a simple life. I am 5'4 and weigh 159.2 lbs as of this morning. I felt my best when I was 130 lbs.

I have spent my working life in travel guidebook publishing--a shrinking field--and just got reorg'd out of a job. Now I'm trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up ... quite late in the game!

I'm an 18 year old college student. I have gained 30 pounds in the past year.

I am a 26 yo former swimmer with great knowledge of what a workout is all about and what kind of shape my body is capable of, however the real world and stresses of life / just plain laizness have seemed to put some pounds on me over the years.

I am a 42 year old married mother of 2 boys (5 and 20). I moved back to the city from upstate Pennsylvania about a year ago and have gained 15 pounds. I am now 3 pounds lighter than when I came home from having my youngest son which is extremely depressing. I sit at a desk all day and basically do the same when I get home. I started to exercise a couple of weeks ago (New Years resolution) but I had a bunionectomy last June and my foot does not work the same as it used to so I quit. I joined Weight Watchers on Monday and have been doing pretty good so far. We'll see how this goes.

I'm 20 years old and have always been around 160. Recently, after a weight loss about a year and half ago (I went from 160-135), I've gained back everything and then some. I'm currently 173 and wish to go down to around 130.

10/9/10 - 173

I just turned 33 and I am currently going to school and I am also a bartender. I am about 5 months away from graduating with my bachlers degree and I really want to be happy with the way that I look at my graduation. Also my sister is getting married on April 26th and I would like to look good for her wedding.

I'm 32 and I just had my first son December 7, 2006. He's now toddl'in around the house and I'm attempting to get back into shape. I am a musician, currently on a hiatus from my music degree but I hope to be back in school this fall. I love to cook! I have a wonderful boyfriend who is a photographer and we have a two kids: our son and our persian cat. :) My goal is to get down to my pre pregnancy weight. I'm counting points with weight watchers. I gained 60 pounds with the pregnancy and when I came home from the hospital I was 180. I've slowly been losing weight by pushing the stroller around in my neighborhood but got stuck in the 170's for a good 8 months or so. I've decided to really work at it and have been back on the WW program since January 4th, 2008.

I’m 45 years old, 5’8” 169 lbs. At the beginning of 2007 I started a diet at 192 lbs. I figured out my BMR and reduced it by 500 calories so that I would be burning more calories than I was taking in every day, even without exercise (or getting out of bed). It was a good plan as long as I stuck to it, but I’m a food addict. If I give in to a bite, I eat the entire thing – whole box of cookies, entire pizza, whole chicken, etc. My goal for 2007 was to lose 60 lbs. I lost 40 but only kept off 20, although at the end of the holiday season I weighed in at 182... YIKES! The 10 holiday pounds came off pretty quickly, but I still started my losing track at that point.

I'm 33 and in graduate school. I'll be finished with my master's degree in special education in May. I think I'm an emotional eater and I stress way too much. I also have to admit that I like lounging on the sofa and watching TV (Law & Order). My fiance is as skinny as a rail and a fast metabolism. He can eat anything he wants, but I struggle to stick to a diet. :P

I am 26 y/o, married and trying to loose the weight I have gained since I finished my undergrad. But as a very busy working women and part time grad student time to work out isn't always there.

I'm 18, in college, a music major, and really really busy. I am finding it hard to wade through the sea of junk food that surrounds me..I came back from first semester and found out I had gained 9 lbs of the "freshman 15". Luckily I love exercising, but dieting not so much. I eat nutritiously but definitely too much. My mom's a chef aaaand admittedly I'm a bit of a gourmand.

50+, married. working-administrative desk job, Gemini-love people, love food, love having a good time. Hate looking fat, recently told I had a level of cholorestorl too high.

I'm a 21 year old university student, travel-lover, ready to reach my goal weight for life!

I am a law student from Australia, currently study in Copenhagen. I live a pretty busy life and travel a lot. I love running and the buzz afterwards, fashion, art, film festivals, cooking and a fun night out dancing!
  • Height: 175cm (5'9")
  • Starting weight: 74.6kg (164.4lbs)
I am looking forward getting back to my old weight of 61.2kg (134.9lbs), but have a goal of reaching 64.2kg (141.5lbs) first and maintaining it for a few months. I have been struggling with this for 4 years, and I know the time is now to loose weight and make the changes so for the rest of my life I'm happier, more confident, invigorated and alive!

22 year old in the legal field, trying to get back to being healthy after college!

I'm 45, 5' 7" 164 lbs work in an office, used to be very active, used to feel better about myself. Not really about the final number on the scale, more about the fit of my clothes. My husband is very supportive as he's trying to get his cholesterol down and we don't have any kids.

My name's Agnieszka, I'm married w/no children, I m about to turn 38 (argh)....I am a serial dieter, i've been on every diet under the sun. I can usually last up to 2 weeks & then I slip....Looking to start something that will stick, loose 25 lbs in the next 6 months, thats my goal. I've been yo-yo dieting from the age of 12....I've NEVER been as heavy as 165....I've lost and gained 25 lbs 3 times in the past 8 years, I want to get to my goal weight & stay there !

I'm Emily. I'm 17. I adore art, photography, travel, family, friends, being in love, food, and exercise. When I was in grade 8, I was probably about 5'4" and about 200+ pounds. I lost about 60 pounds that year. My goal has always been to be much more toned and slim than I am now though. I've had a body assessment (professional) and I have about 20 pounds i could lose. There are still left overs, and i still have not met my goal! Its very frusterating!! I want a change! I need motivation!! I need something to commit to...maybe a group like this will help?? I'm hoping so!

I'm a 21 year old college student in Boston, MA, an econ major and an active Hillary volunteer. I'm hoping to get connected with people and motivate and inspire each other for the long haul!

27 years old, love my boyfriend, my dog, my family and my friends

I'm 60, but look and act MUCH younger! Think that I got trapped around the adolescent stage somehow!@#! ;) I live in Cranford, NJ with my boyfriend and two beautiful cats. I have two grown daughters living far away. I am aware of turning to the wrong foods for comfort and "looking for energy".

I am a teacher in the Raleigh region.

Well, I do believe im a 18 y.o. highschool senior. I dont feel at all comfortable in my body... i always feel like people are judging me and i HATE that :[ I also like squirrels

I'm an artist married to a lawyer. Together we are one brain... he's left and I'm right! I'm also in the middle of being diagnosed with an auto-immune disease... so for the first time in my life, I have a lot of time to pay attention to cooking healthy meals and taking care of myself.

I am 37 years old and have two girls. I work full time in a family business.

age 55 executive, long days at the office, little exercise time except on weekends

I have a long day and my commute is also long so I don't have a lot of time to relax, cook a healthy supper and exercise before I go to bed at night. I need help getting motivated.

I'm a college volleyball player, just trying to get into shape for the summer.

i'm old but fun and i want my body to match; it's going to have to keep up with me as we enter the 3rd Score, y'know? i want to be fit, flexible, fast and fearless.

I am a busy working mom who is committed to being a healthy role model to my kids. I'm tall (5'11'), and have weighed at my heaviest 190's. For the past 5 years I have weighed around 165. My weight is starting to creep up again, so I am commiting to healthier eating habits and introducing more weight lifting into my exercise routine.

I am 40, married to a wonderful man and a mother of 3 dear children. I work full time with a long commute. Early in 2006, I lost 10 pounds pretty easily with exercise. I've been struggling to change my diet to lose more weight since then. I've found some success by changing my eating habits described below.

I am 23, 5' 7", and 170 lbs. I would be sooo much happier at 145 lbs. My pitfalls: too much wine and too much eating out.

I'm 24 year old female starting her career in agri-business. In college I was fairly active and lost about 30 lbs. since high school. However, my lifestyle has changed and I gained almost 10 lbs. this past winter. I've lived with my boyfriend for two years, and he's gained quite a bit of weight since we've moved in together. I'm hoping that losing weight will motivate him to get in shape. I enjoy biking, gardening, knitting, going out with friends, and surfing the internet.

I'm 61 and can't look at myself in a mirror. Somehow (like someone else put the food in my mouth) I've gotten FAT. I weigh 170

I am 30 years old, 5'7 and 167. I have been heaiver, in 2001 I was 217, and was that weight for around 3 years. I got down to 142, and stayed with in ten pounds of that for the last 5 years. I have within the last year blossomed out to 167. I live on a horse farm, I clean houses, I am student council advisor for the local high school, and coach 6th grade boys basketball. You would think I could stay thin. But it is an every day struggel for me. I love food. That is an understatement. I have let myself get out of control, and now I am feeling very badly. I have two kids also, an eight year old girl and twelve year old boy.

I am a junior in high school and I love school, drumline, and music. I do not like leaving things half-done, yet, Iosing weight is something I struggle with. I am trying out for the tenor spot on my school's drumline this season. (Tenors are the heaviest drums - they weigh 45 pounds!) When I looked at the calendar and saw how close the auditions (and band camp) are and when I had a major clothes dilemma this morning (nothing even fit right to go work out in!), I knew I had to get serious about losing weight. I dug myself into a rut over the course of 2-3 years, now it's time to get out and stay out.

I am a 47 year old work from home mom. I am bored and I find myself in the kitchen. Been doing a lot of research on portion size and I know that I eat too much. I like to exercise and have an athletic club membership, but I am not eating enough to lose any substantial weight I bounce between 160-165 pounds.

I live in Chicago and am getting married June 28th 2008. I need and want to be skinnier for the wedding. I attempted to exercise and eat well over the winter, but I was working 2 jobs and it just didnt happen.

I am a 22 year old soon-to-be college graduate from Towson University. I have performed ballet professionally since I was 14, but I was convinced I had to give it up and "grow up." While deciding what I wanted to do in the "real world," I figured out that what I really want to do--what I have always wanted to do--is be a dancer in Cirque du Soleil. Anything else is something that I could do when I am 50--but this is something I have to do now. I have to lose some of the pounds I put on commuting to school and being only minimally active before I really have a chance.

22 year old about to graduate college and in need of dropping that freshman fifteen (or in my case twenty).

I am 21 years old and live in Wilmington, NC. Although, I am from the Outer Banks of NC. I am currently in college and deffinitly gained my freshmen 15. I used to be a softball player and cheerleader which put me in an akward place throughout my teenage years. I love going to school in wilmington. I don't have any kids or a boyfriend. I am mainly concered with becoming a healthier person and getting in better shape.

I am 29 year old software Engineer who loves to have (too much) fun and to cook. I'm 5'5 and weighed 177lbs at my heaviest. The lowest I have gotten was 149lbs and it felt fantastic. I maintained nicely for a year or so, but have gotten off track in the past 6 months (guy troubles :()... I am currently 169.8lbs and this time around I am aiming to reach (and stay at) 145lbs with a lower than 20% fat percentage. See you there! ;)

i weigh 170 at the moment, i use to weigh 165 two weeks ago but i gained because of birth control pills.... well i plan on losing that 5 pounds plus more!

I am 6'0" tall and people are always telling me that I carry my weight well and I don't need to worry about weight. It really bothers me because I know that for my body type I am heavy. I have a small frame and eventhough I am tall, I still have rolls and fat that hangs over my pants. Eventhough I may be able to gain ten pounds and it doesn't show as much as a shorter woman, it still effects my confidence.

Stay at home Mom with three teenagers, but may go back to work in Fall (after 18 years at home). Used be slender until age 36 (1st pregnancy), and then second pregnancy (with twins!) at age 39 just did in my metabolism or motivation, or whatever. Never took that pregnancy weight off after that. Of course, my husband is extremely atheltic and daughters are slender, and my husband loves to eat and loves my cooking.

48 year-old, single mom to one great son. Artist at heart, but my daily work involves IT support so I sit all day in front of a computer.

My name is Erin and I'm 30 years old. I'm married to a great man who is in the Air Force and I'm a stay at home mom to a 2 year old little boy. I really want to get back in shape and be happy with the way I look.

I am a 23 year old teacher. I was just hired for my first year of teaching and am really excited about it! I have lost weight in the past twice and have gained it back each time.

25, 5'6" and 160#. Recent college grad working part-time, and focusing on getting myself back into shape and improving my self-esteem after a hard break-up and job resignment. I recently lost five pounds! I have definitely noticed a change in my body, and ability to walk quickly without getting winded!

I'm a 5'10", ~20 year old female who had a stable weight of 160 before getting sick. At one point my high weight was 187. My weight stabilized around 177, and in the past month and a half I have gotten down to 164 (loss of 13 pounds). I am looking to lose 9 pounds more by July 4th (to be 5 pounds below my original weight), and more after!

29 y.o., 5'5", F, been yo-yo-ing between 160 and 150 for 7 years. Now I am 165, again, and need to see this past 150 and go beyond what feels comfortable.

I'm a recent law school grad currently studying for the bar exam this summer. I've been overweight my entire life, and hit my highest weight in college at 200 lbs. Senior year I dropped about 20 pounds, and the summer before law school I dropped ten more. I started running a lot more to relieve stress and lost another ten pounds. But as the years have gone on, I've been less consistent about working out and monitoring my diet. I go through phases where I'm very good and really committed, to times when I would blow off my diet completely and eat really bad and barely workout. And, the drinking... oh, the drinking.... that definitely didn't help things. So, I gained about 15 pounds back, and have basically been at a standstill as far as making any real progress toward my goal weight. After graduation, on May 20th, 2008, I registered with Weight Watchers online, and have been doing that program since. I've been pretty consistent and so far have lost 9 pounds.

51 / married / female / very inactive. Doing this AGAIN. Need to stick to this for more than three/four months. Tired of the yoyo

SAHM of 4 children, ages 16, 14, 11 and 7. Wife of 17 years. We homeschool and love it! I am 38.

My name is Alanna Rose Catalina Heitman. I am 18 years old and heading off to college in the fall. I am going to study Culinary Arts, which is not going to help with my overeating problems. I love music and colorguard and boating and my boyfriend!
