37 year old married female who works as an at-home medical transcriptionist. I enjoy digital photography, digital scrapbooking and rubberstamping.

I'm a 26 year old Mathematics teacher at a high school. I enjoy surfing, running, reading (Diana Gabaldon), and being outdoors.

28 year old female in Austin, Texas.

I have lived all over the place. I was a competitive swimmer all through my teens so was swimming 5 hours a day and never had to think about weight loss or dieting. I could eat in excess of 3000 calories a day.. it was great:) Anyways injury forced me into retirement and over the last 4 years the weight has crept on. I just moved to Philadelphia, I am getting married to my boyfriend of 6 years next november and I am in a couple weddings next summer so they serve as goals to get my butt into shape again.

Hello, my name is Robin. I've been married for 27 years (sept. 28). I am 45 mother of three and Nana to 4. I've been raising two of the grandkids untill about a month ago. Very stressful letting them go. I have recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I have depression. I am an actress, I do background acting for movies and tv shows. I also am a jewelry designer My web site is http:// www.trees-mom.com

I am a 64 year old receptionist. Used to be very active by working second job as a waitress. Broke my leg and had to have a knee replacement. Slowed me down a lot since I cannot jump or kneel and a lot of activities cause the knee to swell.

I am a mom of 5 kids ages 4-11, we are also host parents to an exchange student. I live in the country, and enjoy the outdoors, horses, nature etc. I homeschool my kids, and have learned to love it! Two of our children have special needs, which is a daily challenge, but i believe that God doesn't give us more than we can handle, so we just take a day at a time!

I'm 33, I have 3 wonderful children: 8, 12 & 15. I'm happily married and live in Charlotte NC. My ultimate goal would be to lose 45 lbs. but at this point I will be happy with just 1 lb. that would stay lost!

I am a 22 year old professional in Northern Virginia. I just moved here and am trying to lose those college pounds. I graduated college in June and am now working in a gymnastics facility. I want to have more energy when I'm out on the floor coaching the kids. I just joined a gym that opens in the next few weeks.

I live in florida miami to be exact so the strive to be fit and thin is tougher thn ever here. I have always been able to maintain my normal weight 105lbs with little to nothing effort but ever since i moved in with my boyfriend i feel like i have blown up. I have always had low self esteem and these ponds arent making anything better. I find myself falling into depression and i dont want to be there. I have become a member of this site for support and tips, since im not reciving tht from my boyfriend (who thinks the world will implode on itself if he said to me tht i have gained a few pounds).

I am 28 years old, live in San Diego, am married and am struggling with the realities of working a desk job and aging - you gain weight. My weight has crept up and the clothes are getting tight... it gets hard on your self-esteem.

I'm 27 years old and live in Austin, TX. I'm married and am losing weight so that when I get pregnant and be healthy during the pregnancy and feel more active. In the past, I was very athletic, University of Texas Soccer, Baylor Rugby... tons of working out. Now that I have a desk job, I'm up to 290 lbs. I'd like to get down to 200-ish and not feel addicted to food anymore.

I work full time and attend college part time. I had a gastric bypass about 4 years ago and have slowly been gaining weight, but I want to stop that before it gets out of hand by joingin weight watchers and being more active!

I'm 28, not married, and not in a stable relationship. This is part of why I eat, I think--I'm unhappy about being alone and I don't feel very attractive. I'm in a cycle of feeling unhappy and eating for comfort, and I need to stop. I look forward to being supportive of you all and being supported, too, as I make some real changes in my life.

I'm 24 and I live in Nashville with my husband. We are both over weight, and he has recently been diagnosed with MS. This really gave us both a shock, and a push into living healthier. I love to read, watch movies, tv, scrapbook. I love to dance, not any training, just being silly with friends.

Young spirited but round. Have been successful going to ww in past. Was extremely athletic but after back injury in 2003, have gained 30 lbs. Being thinner would be better for back, confidence and wardrobe.

I am 36, happily married to a Marathon runner and have a 1 year old daughter. I am planning another pregnancy in about 6 months and would like to lose the weight so that my next pregnancy is more comfortable than my first was. I would also like to be happier about my body and have more energy.

Im a 25 year old young woman who is tired of being overweight and has realized that I can use all the help I can get. Was chubby most of my life lost a lot of weight at one point and concidered that time the best years of my life.. Just want to be truly happy again....

Hi all, I am 27 and have been living in vancouver for about a year. Originally from Saskatchewan...one of the fattest provinces. I am back in school and its pretty intense so my challenge is making time to exercise.

25 year old mother of two boys 3 yrs and 2 months old. I had a c-section almost three months ago and two other surgeries each month after. I am hoping that is the end of the surgeries. I need help loosing the weight I gained with both children. I hate knowing that on the inside I'm skinnier then the outside. I'm a very active mom that just cant loose weight anymore.

Single mom of two (12 and 14). Only seem to have time and energy for them-now I look like a very tall pear. A very sexy pear, but a pear nonetheless.

I just moved to san marcos, and i started my 5th year of college this fall. it seems like every year i've been in college, i've put on more and more weight. i really need to lose this weight for my health- physically and mentally.

Soon to be 40, mother of 3 boys, 12, 6 and 9 mos. I'm self-employeed with my DH in Charlotte and I home school the 2 older boys. Why jump into the frying pan, when you can just jump in to the fire?

I am a 22 year old female, just graduted and moved into an apartment with three of my girlfriends. Trying to get my life on track, job, wieght, men, ect!

I'm a 21 year old female living in upstate NY.

I'm a soon to be 32 year old. My husband and I have a wonderful 10 yr old little boy. I recently just moved to Arizona from Indiana. All of my friends and family live in Indiana so it is extremely hard to get motivated and have full support from such a great distance. In January I will be attending ASU to finish my elementary teaching degree. Right now I'm a stay at home mom.

I'm 27 and I recently moved back to philadelphia after living with my boyfriend for 2 years in upstate PA. I definitely packed on the pounds living with him (he is a fast food addict). After we broke up and I moved back home, I, as per usual, ate to feel better. Also, I have a great group of friends and we love to eat out! Too many restaurants, too many shared appretizers and drinks.

24, student and work full time. My life is very busy and I have not been making good food choices. I was thin all my life then gained 55 lbs my senior year in high school! I've lost about 30 through WW about a year ago but I haven't been "practicing" in a while. Now, the pounds are creeping back on. I guess I thought if I ignored it, it would be okay but its not!

Over the past 13 years, the pounds have slowly crept on. I lost 10-15 pounds and went down to a size 12 and then I got married and the weight came back plus extra. And the most exciting thing is that I'm going to be a grandma for the first time in Dec.

I am a stay at home mother of three. My husband of 18 years and I have two boy ages 16 and 12 and a girl who is 2! I keep children in my home three days a week. I enjoy spending time with my family camping, garage saleing and just hanging out. I am 39 years old and feel like I am never going to be able to loose this extra weight!

well i'm 21 from ny. I'm a [lifelong] vegetarian. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis which means my metabolism is super slow. I take synthroid and cytomel for that. I also suffer from depression, adhd and a metabolic disorder that I was born with. Yay. I recently was on the path to anorexia, consuming 900 calories or less a day, and during the last few weeks I've been off of that..but i feel like its important I start that up again, cause I lsot weight while doing that. I went from265-270 to 247 in about a month and a 1/2 or so. I despise transfat and high fructose corn syrup, that is a major reason I lost weight because I just stopped myself from consuming it. But over the past week or so i've been drinking a can or 2 of soda a day, probably cause I can't get my hands on iced tea mix [whcih has sugar, not HFCS], but that stops today. I don't want that crap polluting my body. I feel week and sluggish because of it. and i truly do hate it. I prefered keeping myself pure, and so pure I shall. hopefulyl i haven't hurt myself too much in the last 2 weeks or so.

I am 64 yr. old. Mother of two, grandmother of five, and great grandmother of eight. I have needed to lose this 100 lb. for several years now, for health reasons and self esteem issues.

Well, right now I'm Teahcer's Aid for 1st Grade and I love to sing and have fun. Weather it be dancing witch I really don't do anymore or hanging with my sister and my hubby.

I am 28 yr. old female living in rural WI. I have 3 dogs and a 3 yr old daughter, I spend most of my time caring for my grandparents. I own my own business and in my free time I'm a paranormal investigator. I like to write and sew and I'm considering going back to school in the next year or so.

If I can lose 30 pounds that will definitely be a miricle. I wouldn't say I am obese, I can say I am chunky. That hasn't stopped me though from have a great self esteem~

I'm a 25 year old college graduate. Just recently moved into the city and I am sick of being overweight. I've just got a new job, a new apartment so why not a new body? I'm very horrible with eating late night snacks and eating in moderation. I'm extremely confused and out of my element when it comes to diets so this seemed like a good start. HELP!

I'm a 24 y/o teacher.

I'm 36, single yr old professional living in new york city. I've slowly put on weight this past year, and it's making me feel terrible. I used to be very secure with my looks but not lately. I even had to buy news pants, and can't fit into my old suits. I just went to Turkey and wanted to eat all the great food, and gained another 3 pds. I felt better about my body there, where there is less precious to weigh less, but I need to get this weight off before I really become seriously overweight.

DWF, 51, two daughters, one soon to be 30, one soon to be 16. After being thin most of my life, the last eight years I packed on more than 55 pounds, lots of it from being housebound to take care of my ailing mother who has since passed. Some of it I am convinced is the direct result of medications I take. Developed emphysema after 9/11 and take an inhaled steroid daily.

I am 31 years old and just moved to Canada, I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I fell in love with a Canadian so here I am! I just want to be happy and healthy and I know in turn my body will start to shape itself.

My husband is very thin, NEVER works out and has some pretty bad eating habits. I do not blame him for my weight gain, however when someone has a bag full of cookies at 9:00 pm in front of the TV it is hard to ignore---especially when I am feeling stressed.

I am a 37 year old mother of 3 kids who are 9, 15, and 16 (talk about a handful) I live in the sunny state of California and I am an apartment manger and I am so tired of being over weight!

I'm a 49 year old Interior Designer. I'm divorced and live alone. I'm about 50 lbs. overweight.

52 year old father of 2 and enjoying running again now I have lost a few kilos A few more to go but really enjoying my fitness challenges

The baby fat my mom promised I'd outgrow never went away. I am now 41. For the last twenty years (yeah, you read that right) I've had an undiagnosed autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid, causing it to slowly become less functional and causing me to gain over 120 pounds. This year, they finally figured out what was going on. They put me on medication, are now regulating my hormones, and at last, I'm losing weight. I joined Weight Watchers in October and have lost about 20 pounds. One hundred to go! My weekly meeting leader is an incredibale motivator, but I need more, which is why I'm here.

24 year old chicklet struggling with weight loss while a full time master's student (in elementary education) at Arcadia University, working part-time (32 hours) at Advanta Bank and planning my wedding on August 25th! Needless to say, I need LESS stress in my life, not more, but I feel that finally getting control of my weight will be much less of a stress!

39 years old, 45 lbs over weight. Quit smoking in January, now my goal is to lose the weight before I hit the big 40!!!

I am 57 years old and divorced with 3 grown children.

I am a almost 40 year old Christian. My ministry is singing and songwriting. I began playing the guitar about 1 year ago and God has blessed me with hearing music and words. I am extremely happily married with 3 step children and 3 of my own. My youngest just turned 2. I am able to be fulfilled by staying home with my baby and being here for the others. I try to keep the house clean, but ya know how that goes. I attempt to practice and write everyday while baby is sleeping, but it doesn't always happen. :)

22 year old, recent college graduate, enjoys trying new things, excited about my future!

In my 50's now and have recently gained 35 lbs. in the past 3 years due to late night eating and lack of excercise. Anyone in the my age group please contact me and we can do this together.

I am a mother of a 1 year old little girl. I have had trouble with my weight since about 15years old. I started on Birth control pills and it made me blow up! I weighed 125 when I met my husband and hopefully can get back there someday. My highest weight was 206, the day before I had my daughter. I weigh 175 now~

I am a college freshman. In my first semester I have lost 15 pounds, and over the course of the second semester I hope to lose another 20. I love to walk, read, and do any form of crafts.

I am a 49 year old mother of 2 grown girls. I love walking and any kind of excerise. I also love to cook.

I am 55 and retired. I am alone all day and eat out of boredom.

I'm 24 I used to be a lot more active and vegetarian since birth but the carbs and my sweet tooth keep me heavy

I'm 57 yrs. old and have really struggled the past year....I had lost 62.5 lbs. before starting to slide backwards......I love the Weight Watchers diet and have just resigned for anohter 6 months........it does work if you follow the program......

I am a 44 yr old married full time nursing student. I have had weight issues most of my life but not huge ones until I hit 40. Nursing school is very intense and hectic and I don't have alot of free time to cook healthy and exercise. I have come to rely alot on convenience for cooking which translates into not so healthy. I try to walk on my treadmill at least every other day but often have to study instead. Since I live in Wisconsin getting outside during the winter months to exercise is hard with the cold, snow and ice. I don't ski but we do snowmobile. We are going on a cruise in less than a month and I would like to drop a few lbs before then.

I'm 56 years old. My daughter, eee, told me about this site. I've had several chronic health problems for the last 20 years or so. But I still try to do most things for myself, and try to keep busy. (Not always with a lot of success.) I have been a WW member for several years and attained my goal a couple of years ago. I was also a few pounds below it. Then I quit smoking. Even with walking 2 miles a day 5-6 days a week, and working out twice a week, I gained almost 10 pounds. Of course I also turned into a somewhat compulsive eater. When I quit smoking, something finally clicked, and I was able to do it. I'm sure that if I keep trying, something will finally click, and I will start to lose again.

I'm married 21 years and have 4 children, ages 26 to 16. I work as a Dental Assistant and love my family and my job.

I am 49 yrs old, mom to 3 sons, 32,29 and 17 yrs old. I work full time as a medical billing specialist and am happily married. I tipped the scales at 118 lbs in 2000 when I remarried and now I weigh 163...UGH!!! I have always been able to keep my weight at @120-125 but after about 44 yrs old everything went crazy.

I dont have alot of time after work for exercise. I live out in the country so its not so easy to run or walk on dirt roads. I go out in my back yard and run laps. I feel like it is better to do this than nothing at all.

I have lost 45 pounds on WW before (twice) but I gained it back because I let go of the habits and focus. I am a 45 y.o., widowed mom of a 12 y.o. son. My commitment to myself this year is to focus on my health and well being more than I have in the past.

I'm 43 years old and I've lost 70lbs since January using the WW point system and working out. I've got about 30 lbs or so to go. However, I've been here before (okay ... a few times) and this is where I always "bottom out", so I'm terrified of falling off track before I get to my goal. I'm trying to kick the "diet" mentality, and adopt a whole new healthy way of life ... carbs are not my enemy!

I am a 2nd year law student in Chapel Hill, NC. I live with my boyfriend of 3 and a half years and our 2 deaf cats (Petey & Joey - our babies!). I have always struggled with my weight but when I went on the birth control shot, it skyrocketed. I am still trying to get off the 60 or so pounds I gained in the year on the shot, plus some extra that I've always carried around. My goal is to be at my goal weight before I get married - whenever that may be!

I am 37 years old single parent and grandmother to one adorable grandson. I am currently a Correctional Officer but plan to attend Truck Driving school in March of 2007.

I have been married 25 years this February (13th). I have two kids, 21 and 16. I work as an Autistic Paraprofessional at a nearby elementary school. I LOVE working with kids and work at mainstreaming autistic students into a mainstream classroom. I have always had a problem with weight. Even as a little girl I wanted to be thinner than I was, I felt so fat. I am now 5'2 and 175 pounds. My left knee is buckling under all of this weight and giving me lots of problems. I will be making a sincere committment starting Jan 1, 2007 to get this weight off for good. I can and will do it this time through eating less and exercising more.

36 mom/wife 2 wonderful boys 14/11 Embarking on a new career, stressed out to the max Living in a new neighborhood I love to scrapbook and watch my lifetime movies

I am a 44 year old married woman with two boys in elementary school. I was avery thin and fit active athlete until my college years. I have gained about a pound every year out of college on average. I am 5'4" and weigh 160. I know I would look great at 135. I just need the willpower and stick with-it determination to get this done

Divorced mom of 2 beautiful children. Work full time and then some - love being a mom, but have to stick around for a while - so this weight that I have had for 9 years now has GOT TO GO!!! Weighing in at 235 today...which sucks.

I am 68 yrs. old and am a retired music teacher I taught for 35 yrs. Mostly in innercity schools. I am active and love retirement. One of the ways I treat myself is to go for a massage and sometimes we go 4 times a month. We go to 2 privately and 2 to the Lakeside School of Massage where we have a student. These kids are good we have been going 4 yrs. and have never had a real bad massage. To help control my arthritis of the knees I go to 3 acupunture treatments a month.and I have been married 37 yrs.

My name is Katrina. I am 25 years old. I have 4 kids. My husband and I just got married in march of 2006 but we have been together for 6 years.

I am 31, 3 kids, 14, 9 and 6. I have had a weight issue for the past 7 years, on and off, I made a New Years resolution to lose a pound a week for the entire year. That would put me at my goal weight.

I work in the city live in the country. i love fried foods and know better. Love salads also but stuff just doesn't keep well for me.

51 year old female. Lost weight last winter on WW Point Program. I didn't have a scale prior to last week so I'm guessing I had lost about 10 pounds. I found them again. I ate my way through the fall/winter. I now know I weigh nearly 140 and although I don't feel terrible I know that I should weigh at least 10-12 pounds less than I do. Oh, I don't have a full-time job so I'm home doing nothing too often.

I am about to turn 50 years young. I am a Theraputic Foster Mom, Preschool Readiness Director in Durham, and afull time student online at Stanley College on line. I am married and have 5 living children and 1 deceased.

Almost 51. Unbelievable. Married 31 years to my best friend. 2 grown children. I Work 40 hours per week. My hobby is sewing, prefer quilting. Love to travel. Favorite vacation was a Caribbean cruise.

41 years old. Lost approx. 25 lbs when husband was deployed to Iraq back in 2003. Had to start working out when the lbs. started to creep back on in late 2003. I'm currently up 7 lbs. from a year ago and it's driving me crazy.

I am a 50 year old woman who knows how to be a healthy eater and isn't hugely overweight..but I have lost my focus and can't seem to get back on track.

I'm 24 and a newlywed. Last year I joined WW and lost 18 pounds. We moved across the state and I can't afford to go to the meetings anymore. (Broke newlywed) I've gained 8-10 pounds back from my low weight. I want to lose those and the last few pounds that I never lost. I'm a newspaper reporter so often my day is quite unpredicatble, leaving me to rely on snacks or vending machines for dinners at city council meetings. I'm at a healthy weight now but want to get to where I can not be self-concious and fit nicely into my clothes.

My name's Alyssa, I live in Austin, TX. I have been a member of weight watchers several times. I was successful, losing 60 lbs. In 2004 I had my second child and picked up a lot of bad habits again.

I am a 33year old single mom of three beautiful children. And really, that spells out just about everything in my life at the moment!

I'm 35. I live in Austin Texas with my husband, 3 dogs, 8 cats, 10 chickens and now 2 Angora rabbits. I love to knit and spin fiber into yarns and handdye them. Other than all the fiber and spinning and knitting, we love to travel in our Airstream trailer/camper. I teach high school English, but try to feed my creative side as much as I can. I am a writer, own a web business, am a massage therapist, but would give all that up to make a career in yarns/fiber arts. I've vowed to start back drawing/painting again. My husband is also a teacher and a writer. He's an artist and sculptor as well. I don't know anything about WW, so hopefully you guys will help me with that. I have a blog at WinstonandChloe.wordpress.com, and a travel journal at web.mac.com/emott1 and you can visit my subscription service at EasyPeas.com.

I am 16 years old, 5'5, and 185 pounds. i don't consider myself obese but i do know that i am unhealthy and i'd like to do something about it. i hope that some of you older, wiser people will help me to get fit.

I am a 27 year old mother of three. I had my first child at 19 and since then have gained 20 pounds with each child, that is 60 pounds. 2 years ago I decided to loose the weight and have slowly lost 30 pounds, so I am halfway to my weight loss goal.

I am a SAHM to 4 beautiful girls ages 2-9. I am on the go alot between preschool, elementary school, YMCA, Girl Scouts, religion, sports etc. I run my own business, a children's consignment sale, work at the YMCA, tutor, substitute and sell on ebay. I am trying to get more organized so I can make sure that I have time for my own well being.

My name's Megan, born and raised in Austin, Texas. I'm 26 years old, newly single and ready to get back to my ideal weight of 125 - 130.

I'm 45 yo working mom and have lost and gained the same 80 pounds twice before in the last 10 years. I can't manage to keep it off and now I am 100 lbs overweight. My weight is affecting my health (High BP, acid reflux, sleep apnea etc) and I want to get healthy for my 11 yo daughter.

I am a 60 year old woman who has had a weight problem most of my adult life. 18 months ago my first grandchild was born and I would like to loose the weight so that I am healther and able to do all the things that I want with her. I am moderately active but have an extremely difficult time loosing weight as I use food as a source of love and comfortant. I have been divorced for 12 years and have been alone most of that time.

Hi Everyone, I've joined WW a few times before and have never been able to stick with it. Hopefully I'll be inspired by everyone here. I'm 53 and work in Human Resources. I live alone and it seems that I have no self control or discipline when it comes to food anymore - no one to make meals for, so I don't eat propery. I have to lose about 50 pounds.

Married, one kid (3) and one on the way (May 21st). I work from home and travel some. I am in a 'not too serious' band and have some fun doing it.

I'm 27, 5'10, 169 pounds. I love tattoos. I love food. I love my boyfriend, and my dog. Snowboarding. Sad movies... I work at home. I write standardized math tests. I want to get down to 150. I'd love to wear a bikini this summer.

24, greater boston area, lost about 30lbs in college which is rapidly creeping back on. Really want to build confidence and get some exercise routines into my week. I love yoga and dance, and do the gym (mostly elliptical) but could use some accountabilty and to try some new things

I recently had breast reduction surgery, so I am unable to work out like I am used to. Because of my limitations, I have put on 5 lbs, and I am afraid that this will continue if I'm not more careful about what I eat.

I am sometimes shy but open up rather quickly.. I LOVE food, way too much. I am a stay at home mom to 3 lovely kids. I am 25 and from Kentucky but now live in Michigan..

I am 20yr old college student. I'm busy taking summer school, but love to soak up the sun and spend time with my boyfriend, friends and family.

45 Year old proud Mother of two wonderful young adults.

I am 24 years old, college student majoring in Health Information Management. This will be my last semester in college. I used to be in good shape, but with school I began working out less and less. I also think that I eat more under stress. So during finals I end up eating everything. I gained almost 20 pounds with in the last year and a half. Now I realize that my eating habits have to change in order for me to be healthy and look great.

I'm a 38yr old father of five(three step children and two of my own). I am a correctional officer for the state of Texas.

I am a 41 year old mother of 2 and married for 15 years. As far as exercise goes, I've been pretty dormant for the past 2 years relying on my active job to stay fit. Now that I've been promoted (good thing), my job is not so active anymore and I'm noticing the 'spread'.

I am 22 years old and a working girl. I want to take charge of my life and get rid of the weight I have put on over the last 3 years...

My name is Wendi. I live in Michigan. I have been married for 2 years. I was on WW last year and lost 40 pounds only to gain it back. On January 9th I started back on the WW program.

I am a single mother of one. I am also a college student and I work part time. My son is almost 2 and I am feeling like the baby weight excuse is expiring. I hate the total lack of energy I have. I did quit smoking on Oct. 16 last year, and I want to keep going, I want to prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind on, including loose weight!!

I am married with a 1 1/2 year old little girl. We live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I work full time for Delta Air Lines, and my husband is an English teacher.

I am 26 years old I work full time. Currently single with no children. I was pretty fit for the most part until the later part of college were I gained all this weight and there after it just kept on adding up. Now I want to get back into shape I have yo yo dieted for a while now and this year I want to lose it for good.

I am a mom of 2 (son almost 14, and daughter almost 12). I love being a mom and as of yesterday I am a sahm (got laid off). I have to now try even harder, as I am an emotional eater.

I am a 19 year old college student.

I'm a 40 year old married mother of three. I have been on and off WW for almost 20 years. This go around I know I need to stay on the program...not stay on it to just lose weight. This has to be a lifestyle change for me. I have over 100 pounds to take off and keep off my body.

I am 24 and fastly approaching my 25th birthday and want to get back to my healthy body weight. I am married with no kids just a big goofy dog and live in the Baltimore, MD area. I love to be active and play sports and want to get back to a weight that allows me to enjoy these activities.

love the outdoors: kayaking, hiking, camping, swimming, cycling

I am a 35 yo single mother of 2 (13 yo girl & 6 yo boy). I work as an assistant pastry chef. AS you can imagine, this makes for difficult weightloss. I have tried Weight Watchers in the past and have had success. However, I have not stayed with the diet changes. I am determined to make it stick this time. It is much easier than it was in teh past, so I am really excited this time.

Starting wt. 249 lbs Current wt. 204 lbs Goal wt. 175 lbs (high end of normal wt according to charts is actually 169 but this is a bit light for my frame).

I am 199 pounds and I was 220. I lost 21 pounds because I stopped eating red meat, I only eat poultry. I am on weight watchers with my mom and her 2 best friends. I have been sick lately so the doctors dont want me to over work myself with exercise but told me to try a diet.

36, mom of one 4 yr old girl, freelance website developer

In 2005 I moved from LA to Boston and inadvertently left my healthy lifestyle behind. I'm trying to regain and improve the lifestyle I had then.

teacher in san antonio, always had a weight issue, but want to have some control

Aging WASP girl, trying to age gracefully.

i use food to destress and comfort me which then makes me stressed and uncomfortable LOL !! i am a mature student nurse with husband dog and mustn't forget the kids who i adore.

42 years old, 6'2" father of a 14 and 4 year old. Adopting a baby girl from Russia this fall. Weigh 237 lbs., would like to at 210.

I'm 51 and have always been thin. Then middle age happened and I've gained weight and lost muscle tone. I want to regain a sense of energy to my day. I work in facilities where meals are cooked for staff. Diet is geared for growing teenage boys, lots of fried foods and bread.

I am 32 and a single mom. I lost 42 pounds back in 2002. Since then I've gained back all 42 pounds plus 48 more. So that's 90 pounds! I can't even believe it when I think about it. Last year I rejoined Weight Watchers to find that I'd gained back 80, then I eventually quit. This year I rejoined to find I'd gained back 10 more since last year, so now I'm at the 90lbs total gain. I have nothing to blame besides my bad eating habits and lack of self control. I love to eat! I like large quantities of "bad" food. Chinese buffet, McDonalds supersized, giant Chipotle burritos, etc. I can't believe it when I see pictures of myself now and then. It brings me to tears. It's really hard for me to stick to Points like I used to. I don't know why. It just seems like such a far off goal that I'll never reach it.

I'm a new mom to 6 month old boy/girl twins and am working to get the last of my pregnancy weight off, 12lbs left! Prior to becoming pregnant I was a WW life time member and lost 46lbs and sustained that weight loss for 4 years. I'm desperate to fit into my clothes again considering the twins are the only ones getting new clothes in our house these days, ha!

I recently got married, moved to a new city, got a new dog. So lets just say there have been lots of changes.

Late 50's, still see myself as thin but I'm most obviously not. Need to shed 60 lbs. and, most importantly, get healthy.

I'm almost 48 years old and for the past few years have been fighting a losing battle against 45 pounds that I found and can't get rid of. I have two kids, one 20 and one almost 17. I work full time in front of a computer mostly and that sure isn't helping. I live in a beautiful area and should be enjoying some outdoor activities but I'm stuck. I'm SO good at procrastinating!

I am a 26 y/o new mommy to a handsome little five month old boy. I work full time as an EMT and often pull overtime shifts. I also works nights so setting a strict routine for working out and dieting can be tricky. I currently weigh 163 witch consumes my thoughts on a daily basis yet all I can seem to do is talk about it. I need some motivation and I want to start immediately so I can be back to my previous weight of 130. Several years ago I worked out in the gym everyday for atleast an hour and I felt great, looked great and lived great. These days its a little tougher to have that time and motivation but I know once I get into the groove and get started I will be happier.

I am a 34yr old SAHM. I have been married to my college sweetheart since 8/1/98 and we have been blessed with 3 wonderful boys ages 5, 3, and 2. Our family is very family centered.

38 years old and mother of 7 year old and a one year old. Had a hysterectomy and now on hormone replacement. Really hard to lose ....

I am 5'10 and I want to get to 150. I am currently 220.8! I am a teacher, and I love my job but I come home mentally and physically exhaused every day! I try to work out after school, and I've recently started changing into my workout clothes before I leave the school. I love watching movies with my husband, but I also love eating junk food while doing it!

i am a married mom of 3

I am 25 years old and about to be a graduate nurse, I have been on Weight Watchers since 2004 due to the fact that I gained alot of weight from medication........I am ready to be thin again! I love horses and currently have a paint and a quarter horse! I love to ride and horses are my life!:)I am also a car girl.........I love the simple things in life:)

I am 47 years old. I work at home as a home transcriptionist. I have two children 26 and 16.

I'm 43 and work in public relations for a state university. I bought my first house a couple of years ago and am still working on decorating and landscaping -- probably a never-ending project.

I am 33 and have a 2 1/2 year old little girl. I am still trying to take the baby weight off. I just moved to a new city and am having a hard time adapting to things. Unfortunately I am an emotional eater so i feel like all I have done since moving is eat. I just startedgoing back to WW but I have not been motivated and not been keeping track. I read about this site and thought it sounded like a great idea to give it a try.

I lost over 50lbs on the weight watchers program after I had my daughter. Well I found out I my son was on the way and I gained it all back and then some. I just really felt a little lost in my own skin. At one point I found out my mother had breast cancer and well while my weight lose should have been a top priority I just let my self go even more. She is doing better now and I am trying to get back on track.

I'm 29 years old and I am pretty much an active female. I just have a very slow metabolism...plus I LOVE to eat. I am married to the love of my life. He and I are happy, and he loves me heavy....but I don't love being heavy.

Hi All. I am new to PEERtrainer. Read about it in People magazine - the new issue with people who lost 100 lbs or more. Since having 3 kids, I am in terrible shape. I gained SO much weight with each pregnancy - particularly the last one because I was on bed rest for a LONG time and all I did was eat. So, now I need to lose around 80 lbs, which is about the 25-30 extra pounds I gained with each baby that I haven't been able to lose. My 3 boys are the most wonderful kids, and now that my baby is 14 months old, I need to spend more time on me again! Looking forward to getting started and sharing thoughts, suggestions, etc. with all of you!

I weigh 280 pounds! Lately I feel like above all else that is what defines me. I'm 33. I have two boys, age 3 and 7 and I feel like I'm a great mom. I've been married to my husband for 10 years. I have an extremely successful career for a large corporation. I have everything going for me and have many successes, but because I can't get a handle on my weight I feel like a failure. I don't want to resort to weight loss surgery, and the support system I have around me seems to be hindering me instead of helping me so I hoping that the friends I find here at PEERtrainer will help me achieve my weight loss goals.

I am a 30 something lifetime member. I Lost 50 lbs my first go at weight watchers. I gained about 30 back and I need to get it back off before I slip back to where I was before.

My journey to weight loss and health.

Just turned 50 and have been very sedentary for the last 4-5 years. I got flabby and fatigued. I believe that exercise and proper nutrition are essential and beneficial for mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

I am 23 yo. I have packed on 25 pounds over the course of 3 yrs. from having children. I really wish I would have tried to lose it after I had my children because I am now a true believer that the longer you wait to lose those extra pounds the harder it will get.

36 married with two kids, 7 ad 4. I am ready to get back into shape and healthy. I am a bored and an emotional eater Needless to say, I have ups and downs often.

I am a 29 year old professional women who has gained over 40 pounds in the last six months. I am 5'1" and I weigh 176 pounds. I have no children and have been married for 3 years and have a setpdaughter who is 11.

I am 36 but that number does not resonate with me at all. I feel 26..sometimes 12. I recently graduated with a Masters in Education.

I am extremely motivated as I started dating this really hot guy and he is totally into his personal fitness.

I spent the last 15 years living in California but recently moved to Ohio due to a job relocation. I love getting out there and exploring, whether close to home or far away.

I'm a 30 yr old male, married for over 2 1/2 yrs, new father (daughter born 7/27/07), finishing up a B.S. degree in Bus. Mgmt. I'm looking to better myself in just about every aspect of my life.

I currently bartend at night and am in nursing school during the day. I want my confidence back.

44, mother of 2 boys, 3 if you count my husband. Lost 40 pounds on WW about 10 years ago and need to get back on the program.

I am a recent grad. I started working full time in June and now that I have a steady and pretty organized lifestyle (no more beer and pizza at 3am) I am ready to be healthy and look healthy. I am 5'3" and I weight between 133-135 pounds. I lost a lot of muscle mass in the past year and im losing weight but i think its the muscle and not fat! i need to get fit.

I am 27 (almost 28) insurance producer. I never had to worry about my weight until I hit college and ever since then, I have battled it. I am 5'9'' and weigh 165 lbs. I know what some of you are thinking, "why is she bit%hing?! I am uncomfortable, that is why. This is not a good weight for my body. My clothing doesn't fit and I have no energy. Since getting married four years ago, my focus to work out has faded. My husband and I enjoy eating out and love ice cream. I've slacked off and now it's time to step up to the plate and fix what I've done! I enjoy playing with my three labs and shopping.

I am 24 years old, and live just outside of Walla Walla, WA. I am finishing up my first year as a 6th grade teacher, and I am a newlywed! Kevin and I were married on February 2nd! I am ready to be in shape and have a fabulous summer.

I am a 23 year old female. I have had a weight problem my whole life, I lost most of the weight when I was 18 and kept it off for a good 5 years, however the last 2 years I've been in a downward spiral of bad eating and no exercise. I have gained about 20 - 25 kilos and I am desperate to loose this. I am getting engaged within the next year or so and I intend on being a slim, healthy bride.

I am 22 years old and work as a waitress. I feel like my life is out of control in almost every way possible. I have decided that it is time for me to take my life back into my hands instead of letting it spiral out of control. The first thing I am tackling is my weight. I weight 240 pounds and hate almost every pound of it. I have been overweight for as long as I can remeber and I think every person should experience what it is like to be in shape so now it is my turn. Once I get there I will stay there!

I'm 36 years old, married with one child. I LOVE SWEETS. It's my biggest downfall. I have a problem with keeping the weight off after I lose weight. Not really big on exercising, but trying to work on this!

My name is Cristina, I'm 19 years old...almost 20. I am a student at Florida International University. My studies and work take up most of my time so I find it difficult to eat the way I should and exercise the way I should. I have a husband and a puppy named Oreo.

I'm 22 years old, recently married in July. My husband and I joined weight watchers in October in order to lose weight we've slowly put on since we graduated high school.

I am a 53 year old woman with 50 plus pounds to lose. I had lost 20 but have put all but 5 back on on weight watchers, I guess I will have to track a little better.

I'm a 42 year-old husband, father of one teenage boy, IT consultant who travels 45+ weeks per year for work.

I am 33 yrs old, have 3 children ages 11,7,and 5. I have been married almost 13 years. I work in the ER as a tech. I am currently in Nursing school to get my RN. Which does not help with my stress eating!!

I teach fifth grade, tutor, and I am working on a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I will be 30 in May and I want to live my 30's and beyond as a healthy adult with an active lifestyle.

I'm 46 years old, married 3 kids, and work as a teacher. I love what I do, and the people I work with. I like to stamp, and play bunco regularly. I do well with eating breakfast and lunch, but start to make the wrong choices at about 3pm and dinner.

I am a self employed attorney. I am in court daily, since I do criminal defense, and I drive a lot - over 40,000 miles a year. My car always seems to be drawn to drive throughs, (and it doesn't help that I never have time to have lunch). Stress seems to be increasing, since I am taking on more and more work, and yet with court delays, I am out of the office from 8:30 a.m. to 5pm, and then work late to catch up. I'm also in the middle of a divorce and I feel the stress of that quite a bit.

I am 23 and am a professional photographer. I graduated with a degree in professional photography in May of 2007.

I'm a copywriter for a luxury catalog.

I am a 33 yo wife, mom, full time college student, fulll time ER technician and full time houskeeper, bookkeeper, and chef. I am super busy! Ugh. I am joining weight watchers on Wednesday the 23rd of January and am thrilled and really looking forward to it. This will be my second go around on the program. but this time I will be joining with my Mother-in-law who is also on WW and doing very well.

I'm a 34 yr old single mom of a five year old. I have my master's degree in Social Work and work for a county agency as a psychotherapist. In the past five years I have lost approximately 110 pounds and am so proud of myself, but these last 20 pounds or so are killing me!!

I am 40 and now ready to tackle my weight and the underlying issues. I am very busy and stress is a huge factor in my life, professionally and personally. Finding time and taking it for me is a challenge but one that I know I deserve. I have had 10 years of letting myself be last and now I need to change the way I think. I know the battle is mostly in my mind. I work in management in corporate America and have a family with 3 sons (20,16,8). I've been married 20 years. My family is supportive of my goals but are challenged w/ how the changes effect their lifestyle (meals, change in my schedule to exercise, etc.) My family could also lose the weight so the changes are good. Unfortunately I haven't modeled good behavior w/ food and exercise in the past. We eat out 2 - 3 times a week. Suppers are usually late as I usually don't get home from work until after 7 p.m., which is why we eat out a lot. Often we just need to eat so eating out is the choice we choose. Usually fast food due to the convenience and price. I am usually so busy solving everyone else's problem, (Work/ Home) that I have no time for solving my problems and mainly this weight. I am scared, I don't want to leave my 8 yr old with no mom because I couldn't take time for myself. I have HBP, I'm pre-diabetic, have a family with history of diabetes and kidney disease and feel that if I don't change now I am headed to die way before I should. I also want to live and not live life as a spectator.

34 year old Mom of a 10 and 6 year old.

28 y/o wife, mother of 2, homemaker, full time student with parttime employment. I miss doing the activities that my husband and I use to do together (ie, rafting, canyoning, running, kayaking, etc.). I stopped doing them because it was too much on me physically and mentally (the thought of putting on XYZ).

I am 55 years old and happily married. I am working very hard at loosing weight.

I am a mother of two beautiful girls, Kate and Melissa. I'm sure other mothers can attest that it's a full time job managing children with school/sports, cooking and working. For my New Years' resolution this year, I wanted to lose weight because I wanted to simply feel younger and healthy again. I rarely have time to go to the gym so I started jogging with Bouncer, my golden retriever. I lost a few pounds here and there-- but nothing too drastic as I ended up gaining it back. Then one day my hairdresser told me about an Acai berry supplement she had been taking to help lose weight faster. Naturally, I was completely skeptical-- As anybody would... Because really, can a little pill REALLY make you lose weight? I figured there was only one way to find out, so I ordered the free trial (I got mine at: www.Best3Acai.com) and took them every morning for a month. Two weeks in I noticed I had more energy to carry me throughout the day and I was losing weight faster than before. Now it's been about 2 and half months since I started taking the Acai berry pills and I've lost a total of ~32 pounds. I've combined the pills into my workout plan on the elliptical twice a week and it's working amazingly well-- It has definitely changed my life around and I feel great every time I wake up (even when it's 6:30am for work)! I hope to spread the word and be an inspiration for mommies just like me or women who are having trouble reaching their potential.

I;ve been married for 7 years, I have a son who is seven. I work part time, I volunteer at our local YMCA for a free membership once a week. I have a back injury that has me almost with no excercise.

I am 20 years old and I live in South Carolina. I am currently in nursing school and have about 11 months until I graduate..and I don't want to be fat in my scrubs! I started watching the new show on Style RUBY and I was sort of inspired because I don''t want to ever get like that (and I easily could) so I have to start making changes now so that I am thin for the rest of my life...

I am 47 years old never married but soon to be. I live with my fiance who is a wonderful man.
