I'm 46 and i have gained about 20 pounds due to the begining of menapause.. Six years ago i weighed 220. My lowest weight was 118 in 2009 with Weight Watchers. I am now at 142. I'm 5'2 so i'd love to be around 126. I love to garden, read, play games and take care of my 14 year of baby chihuahua.

Work full time, have a 5yr old daughter and 23 month son, if I am not working I am with kids

I have been married for 31 years. Have 4 daughters and 5 grand sons!

Marriage and family therapist, mother of 2, like to stay active and challenge myself

I am a single mother,54 living with my young daughter in a very remote village in Wales,uk. My occupation is a homemaker/part time student, Living in a village I don't get out much so am looking to make new friends/exercise buddies

I am 37 years old. I stay at home with the kids. I think there are several reasons for the weight gain. I have a really hard time with not eating at night. It got out of control, and my weight did too.

I've let work get in the way of working out over the last couple years and gained a lot of weight because of it. I've been trying to get back but have been having a hard time doing it by myself.

I'm a university student biology, and a vegetarian.

Powered your kitchen with: Pantry cabinet

Lovable but crazy. Always says the wrong thing but has the best intention. Impromptu ... I'd rather ask forgiveness than permission. Spunky ... I was a college cheerleader. I'm the "too happy" annoying type at times. Realistic ... I like to think I always see the best in people ... Yet openly claim many personal faults. I think we are all works in progresss ... Individuality intriques me!

I am a Team Beachbody coach that is struggling to reach my goals because of self sabotage and nighttime binge eating. I want to be successful and help others do the same, but I find myself out of control with eating despite how well I plan. I am a 42 year old mom of 2 boys aged 12 and 14. I've been married 18 years. I have my own business that I am trying to build to a full time career along with working full time. My oldest son is a competitive soccer player and we travel a lot for him.

I'm a 22-year-old newlywed who is experiencing the downs of the economy (unemployed and looking!) and the ups of really everything else. I'm a graduate of Ohio University who just moved to the Memphis area... mostly for free rent.

Newly retired, out of shape and slightly overweight.. I want to enjoy my garden, dogs, and the great southwwest without getting so tired I can't move!

Wife of a wonderful, funny supportive man for 34 years. Four kids, 3 girls and a boy ages 21-30. Our oldest daughter is married to an army sergeant and has our just-turned-one grandson Nathan in Hawaii. I just started a fulltime job 3 years ago after being a stay at home mom. I work in a law office with 6 other women. I love the ladies and the job - best boss ever- just don't like the M-F commitment!

I'm 36 y/o, married for a little more than two years, no children. I was vegan for two years in my 20s and have been vegetarian since (10 years), but want to return to veganism for ethical and health reasons. Not sure why it's such a struggle this time around, but I'm committed to making the change!

Single parent .. I have two small children. Im versatile outgoing and when it comes to my weight has been in the way of my goals on a personal level.

About me . Well I'm tall 6 foot. Blonde, no kidding. But I'm to heavy. You know one of those large bone girls, that I hear a lot . I would like to get thinner a healthy weight, then get a nice pair of jeans and a white shirt, and a pair of loafers shoes. In that picture of myself in those nice jeans, there can't be in fat rolls over that waistband. The shirt is tucked in! Can you see it.

I am a wife, mother of 2, teacher, and work out 3-5 times per week. At 42, the weight has crept up in the past few years and I need a team to get me back on track. I am tired of the scale going up and not down.

54 y.o. technical writer, wife, mother of 2 grown children, breast cancer survivor looking to live a healthy life. Hoping to kick start some weight loss and good eating habits with the fall cleanse.

I started this journey December 2011 and lost 44 lbs on the PINK Method diet. I got bored and found myself no longer following the exercises and following the eating plan about 90% of the time. I didn't gain any weight back but didn't lose either. PINK did change my life for the better but I need something new to stustain me for the long term. So I'm still looking for the right combination of things that will work for me. I spend a great deal of my time educating myself about nutrition.

I am the mother of 2 boys, one of which has Asperger's syndrome. I work 2 jobs, one full time and one part time. In my part time job, I teach dance, but I am have let myself get so out of shape that it's kind of a joke. I hate to exercise, and I like all foods terrible for me way too much. I have been successful with health programs before, but as soon as the support system is gone (and I'm left to my own devices) I go back to my evil ways. I need help!!!

I have a 15 month old and a 13 year old.

I'm a designer, wife, mom of two teenaged kids. I'm 50, work from home and love what I do. I am an artist, foodie and fabric designer and aspiring modern quilter. Southern California gal who enjoys cooking, sunshine and my family and friends. Good life!

Im am almost 40 yrs old and have two sons ages 8 & 5. I am an office manager and a message therapist. Attempting to now use my criminal justice degree and get on a police force. I want to be healthy and happy. I am most of the way there, just need that 10-15 lbs. :-)

20 year old college student. Need some motivation to get back into shape and stay in shape.

I just turned 40, have 3 beautiful children 16,13, and 6 and a great husband.

Typical busy dad. Work in computer sales by day, keep up with twin 10-year-olds and a student wife by night. Days are pretty uniform... work, home, dinner, homework help, TV or computer-geeking, then to bed. With everyone so busy, it can be difficult not order out for dinner or to make a decent non-pre-fab meal for dinner at home.

I am a single 40+ mom. I work 12-14 days. I used to run every day. Over the past 20yrs the weight just kept creaping up on me. I work to much, stress, and I haven't taken care of myself the way I should have.

I am 22 almost 23 years old. I am 244.6 pounds and I never had children. I am not athletic.

I am 28 years old, married mother of 2 beautiful children. Weight has always been an issue for me, but these past 10 years have been nothing more than a roller coaster ride. After losing my parents (2 years apart) I started stress eating. Then I became pregnant. Twice. I love my children and every single pound I gained was well worth it lol. However, Since having my daughter 4 years ago I have been a steady 215lbs. Its affecting my energy and I feel like my overall health. Recently I've been having issues with my blood pressure as well.

I'm a 20 year old college student just going into my 2nd year. Studying music and English. I love hanging out with my friends, gaming, reading and make-up.

33 years old, married for seven years, and mom to an adorable little boy who just turned one. I work full time and like to read, go for walks, travel, watch movies, and listen to music.

I'm a 26 year old woman. I lost 50+ pounds a few years ago. I gained the weight back and then had a baby. He is a year old now and I need to get healthy for him and my husband (along with doing it for me)!

I am a mother of 3. my weight has gone up and down with each child and it is time for me to take control and get a handle on myself

40 year old female, I am married and I have a daughter.

I am a 51 year old self employed business person. I have a husband who loves to cook and two boys ages 18 and 10.

I'm 49 yrs old, married with two boys ages 26 and 22. I work FT and help my husband take care of his 90 yr old dad. Training has become really difficult. I need accountability. Needless to say my husbands is great t sabotaging my diet efforts.

I'm 42 yrs. old, married and the mother of 2 children. I am currently a stay at home mom, but was a high school chemistry teacher for 8 yrs. I gained 50 pounds with my last pregnancy and have not taken the weight off (it has already been 5 yrs).

I started my goals with 90 day challenges to achieve them. Last year was started in APril 2011 with the goal of losing 30 lbs and didn't even think about inches. I lost those 30 lbs by September 2011 along with 8 inches. Since then I have lost an additional 8 more inches.

Just a middle aged dude who likes to keep fit and healthy

37 years old. Mom of 3 elementary age children.

I am 36, married in a very loving relationship, and have a really awesome daughter. I love hiking, but get nervous when I have to walk with people more fit then me, sort of feel like I'm slowing them down. I have exercise videos, a treadmill, and lots of stuff that collects dust....need major motivation.....oh and I'm diabetic, so I really need to get healthy.

I'm 18, and all of my life I've been overweight, and now I am determined to change that. Losing weight will boost my confidence to the clouds, and I am willing to make that happen.

I'm a female age 35. I'm 150 lbs. would like to lose at least 20 lbs by the end of November 2012.

I am a Hospice worker and I often eat on the run or at fast food places. To many coffee's a day and ice cream

I work two jobs... and life can be busy.. I want to feel good again and look good in my clothes

I am a student, currently finishing up my last year in grad school. Since my schedule is super busy, consisting of school, work and internship, I find that I have issues with eating right and maintaining an exercise schedule that will work for me. I'm hoping that this program, especially the PONR program will give me tools that will help me address my emotional eating issues and subsequent eating habits.

i love reading mysteries and love cats

I own my own business and went back to school. 34. Two dogs. Single and happy most of the time. I have been obese twice and lost over 100lbs twice. It has been 8 years but I have always smoked and I don't want to gain too much weight. 10lbs in one month scarred me.

I am 29 and a Management Accountant. Strggling to lose the last bit of weight which I put on due to an underactive thyroid.

I am a paralegal by trade, but currently a stay at home mom of a 17 month old boy. I love taking him to the playground and bike riding.

I am 28 years old. I recently moved to STL a little over a year ago from a little town in southern MO called West Plains. I moved to be closer to my bf, finish school and find a better job. So far I am half way through obtaining my degree. I want to be an ultra sound tech in an obgyn office. I currently work as a reservation agent for Enterprise. I have no kids and am not married. Just have my dog;) I have been chunky my WHOLE life. I don;t think there has been a time I have been within a healthy weight for my height since coming out the womb. And I want to get this weight situation under control before I am too old to do so.

I am a 31 year old single mom of a 7 year old girlie girl. I am trying to get myself used to a healthier lifestyle so I have more energy to keep up with her. While I do have a goal weight, I am not as concerned about my actual weight as I am about just being healthy. I have some medical/health problems and am hoping that if I start exercising and eating better I can work through them without the help of medication.

I will be celebrating my 32nd birthday in a couple weeks, whooo hooo! An incredible way to start the next year I feel!! I am in school for nursing and work at 2 of the local hospitals as a nursing assistant. This is an incredible way to show my patients how a change in nutrition can make a world of difference health wise especially since I am in cardiac care.

I'm a college student. I eat a typical college student's diet. Ironically, I'm studying nutrition and hope to be a dietitian. At my heaviest, I weighed 220 lb. I managed to get down to about 165, but didn't keep it off. I'm now back up to about 194. I've been overweight my entire life, so I'm not sure what my "happy weight" is. My guess is that it's somewhere in the 135-150 range, but I'm going to tentatively say that my goal weight is 145.

I am 56 yrs old, married for 32 yrs, 2 kids, work full time as a nurse, part time massage therapist, love to cook and bake. I generally eat well and workout, but I have gained weight over the last yr, and need to make some changes.

I am an 18 year old girl who recently had to stop swimming on a competitive level because of a shoulder injury. The bad news was, my appetite didn't decrease, and soon I was 60 pounds heavier. I am tired of living like this, and I want to get back to where I used to be without working out for 30 hours a week. I have already dropped 20, so I am hoping that this site will help me to lose the other 40.

I am 35 and have been overweight my entire adult life. I remember being 170lbs in High School and I thought I was huge because my friends were all under 120lbs. NOW I know they should have been 120 and I was perfect! I am 5'10" and 170 was n't HUGE now that I am HUGE I only see it in pictures.

I will be 25 in less than a month. I've never had a boyfriend and I know it's my fault. I don't have confidence in myself or my body so I shy away from flirting and putting myself out there. Avoiding it seems easy at present, but I know that I don't want to be alone forever. Motivation is my biggest downfall. I can start something, but I pretty much never finish it.

I'm 22 years old & 5'9" with 2 jobs working 40 hours a week. I am a full time college student studying to be a diagnostic medical sonographer. My eating habits are pretty poor. I rarely eat vegetables and I am very picky about which ones I eat. I'm big on junk food and I LOVE cereal. I enjoy exercising when I do it, but I have to get up the motivation to go do it.

I am 57, work in the real estate industry, have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren, married for 7 years to a golf professional. I have dieted my whole life and feel like I am losing the battle. I've gained 10 lbs in the last year! It's time to take control of my eating.

29 year old, married, mother of a 2 year old, love to be active-hiking, biking, swimming, Zumba, anything really, just need more energy to do it all!! I love food and find yummy temptations impossible to resist!! I have "after" pics from when I lost about 65 pounds before I got pregnant with my daughter..however I never lost my baby weight and have only added to it since being a mommy. I am sick of being overweight and really need to make a major lifestyle change and stick with it. I am hoping I will find some of the support and motivation I need here!

Never been severely overweight but as I have gotten older, despite regular exercise, I have an accumulation of fat in middle and upper body. I am hoping there is some things I can learn to help me break through this resistant weight. I am highly motivated.

I have struggled with my weight since I was a child, at was 220lbs at my highest. Through HS and College, I steadily lost weight through calorie limiting by pre-selecting my foods and physical activity. In the summer/fall of 2011, I joined a 6 month weight loss study, in which I went from 171 lbs to 145lbs, and couldn't have been happier with the progress. I think the most effective part of it was having weekly accountability to someone. THEN, I moved to a new town for the first time and started a new job (at a candy company of all places) and gained back the weight. It's got to go!!

Junior in high school

I am 59 years of age and divorced. I have one daughter and 3 grandchildren.

I am a 39 year old mother of 2 and grandmother of 1. I work 10 hours a day and find it hard to get motivated to work out after a long day. I have a wonderful man and family in my life who are very supporitve of my choices.

I have been led a holistic natural life since 2006. I want to be fit, more muscles, more energetic. Feel free to contact me!

I'm a 39 year old single mom with two great children; very busy and very strong willed themselves. I own my own business and have for twelve years now.

Turning 54 this Sat. Haviing trouble getting below 148. Want to get to 130 and stay there for good.

I am 23, and I work as a personal care aide for seniors. I love my job, but it's not the most active. I learned a lot of bad eating and exercise habits growing up, and now I'm watching my mom die from heart problems. I do NOT want to be like that. I am relatively healthy, but I know I don't have much longest to rely on my youth to keep me healthy.

25 year old college graduate, currently unemployed and living with family as I look for a job in the hopes of paying off my loans and getting my life back in order. 5'4", 158 pounds, would love to knock off 25-30 pounds and get myself in the shape I feel like I deserve to be in.

I'm 5'4", medium build. I was up to almost 160lbs last summer and lost down to 140lbs, then regained up to 150lbs again. I'm basically useless in the evening after work, so I'd like to get my workouts done in the morning. I love healthy food, but I love unhealthy food of all kinds, too.

Married 43 years, 3 grown children, 6 awesome grandchildren

I workout everyday, not weekends, for the most part I eat healthy.

I'm 26 years of age and I weight in at almost 400 pounds. I do want to die at this age. I just got married to the love of my life Friday. I'm still so young and yet so big.

I'm 21 years old. 165 lbs. 5'10"ish, small frame with thicker lower body.

I'm a wife, grandma, sister, daughter. Got into farming animal accident in 2000. Having limited mobility in LLE. I gained a lot of weight rapidly. After many nerve blocks and a lot of PT, I can walk now, slowly, and exercise as tolerated.

I am a stay at home Mom raising 4 kids. The 3 boys are mine biologically. They are 7, 4, and 1. I also have my 12yr old little cousin that I am raising. I am on disability due to physical and mental problems. My husband is a student and currently unemployed. My disabled aunt also lives with us so we can help take care of her, though she is able to take care of her own personal needs. My busy schedule and own disabilities make it very hard to lose wt and take care of myself. I know longer want to make that an excuse.

I am 41, married and mom to a rambunctious (and adorable) 5-year-old boy. I am also a university professor. I have been trying for lose the pregnancy weight for 5 years!

Always been active, love playing team sports and individual workouts at the gym. It makes me feel great about myself and my self esteem.

I am 18 years,i am tired of making excuses and ready to live a happier and healthier life

So, I'm newly 22 and I'm vegetarian although i mostly forgo the veggies and opt for chocolate and junk food instead. As a working college student, this is really easy for me to do. Junk food on my lunch breaks. Come home late, eat late, and go straight to sleep like a little baby. I would really like to get back into working out like I used to which was hugely successful when I was younger but I find that it's easy to give myself excuses. I can work hard but not having anyone to answer to but myself makes it all too easy to not wake up in the morning and work out. So I'm here to find a good group to help save me from myself and be accountable to someone else other than my lenient self.

My name is Angela Kollmer, and I'm from New Jersey. I've been cheering for 13 years, and am also in Army ROTC.

Hi my name is Brandi and I live in a tiny town in Northern BC Canada. I have been here for five years but am planning to move to a bigger city within the year. I have 3 adorable kitty's. Before I moved here I was very active so my weight was healthy but since I moved I have lost my motivation to get out and be active. In the last 5 years I have gained over 70 pounds which puts me at just over 200 pounds…and I’m only 5’ tall!!! I don’t like what I see in the mirror anymore. I used to walk everywhere and loved activities that got my heart rate up. I used to live in Hamilton Ontario Canada and at the very end of a street named Wentworth were these stairs named the Wentworth Stairs. It was over 500 stars straight up a huge steep hill with a break in the middle where a highway goes through. I used those stairs all the time at one point right before I moved away going up 10 000 stairs and going down 10 000 stairs in a matter of a few hours almost every day…I loved it because I met so many others that did the same thing. But when I moved out of the province I found I wasn’t into doing as much as when I had access to the stairs. I managed to maintain my weight give or take for a good 8 years or so then I started to be at home more and once I was at home more I starting eating more. Not just a little bit here and there but huge quantities. I loooove food and I looove to cook but instead of cooking just for one I would cook for 4 or 5 and eat everything in two or three days. I have been binging on food for the last 5 years + and its starting to take its toll. Especially since I now work from home and only get out of the house maybe 4 or 5 times a month!!! Two years ago I got a second job cleaning hotel rooms …not for the money…mainly I wanted to get out of my place and be a bit more active. I was able to do that for 4 months and ended up losing almost 30 pounds. Unfortunately the commute was to long…2 hours of travel time daily…and I found that by the time I got home after being gone for ten hours I dreaded having to start another 8 hour + shift with my main night job. Needless to say I gained all the weight I had lost and then some. Last year I bought a second hand manual treadmill. I did try and I liked it but I found that because I am by myself I wouldn’t go more than 5 minutes without stopping…eventually never to get back on. Then the belt on it started to jam and died on me. It was then that I knew that I couldn’t do this alone…it was time I looked for help. The last 6 or 7 months I have been trying to find someone within my area to either go on walk/runs …but so far I have only found one person who said she wanted to exercise with me…she said she would call me the next day and still haven’t heard from her and its been over a month. I also got in touch with a certified personal trainer and offered to pay her so much a month to work out with me 3 – 4 days a week…she said she would call me and has been over a month for her as well. Here’s the thing with me…If I am by myself I won’t do it. BUT…if I have a buddy or if I know someone is watching me I will push myself to get done what I set out to accomplish!!! Yes there are gyms and running clubs and sports stuff going on here but I don’t like being around crowds of people…it freaks me out so just one or two people being around me for accountability purposes is perfect. I have lost a ton of weight before and I am more than ready to do it again…I am actually purchasing an elliptical machine on or around September 26th 2012. Since I can find nobody here in my location to go out walk/running with me I am going to try and do the next best thing. I am looking for on line buddies who would like to Skype with me and work out at the same time!!! To start I am thinking ½ hour workouts to start but eventually within 3 – 4 weeks I would like to be able to do 45 Minute – 1 hour sessions!!! I work nights so my ideal times would be 6 00 am est - 8 00 est – but am flexible and willing to do different times if needed. I want only those who are reliable and won’t come up with a thousand excuses as to why they don’t want to do it. I’m hoping I can find a few people at least who think this is a good idea and are willing to exercise with me via Skype. Even if you’re only available 1 day a week or 7 days a week I will be happy! I’m not looking to go public or be on a tv show and I am also not into getting screamed and yelled at for motivation purposes. If you are reading this and are interested please send me a message and I will be in touch!!! I’m not a drama queen and I am easy going. If you are interested your more than welcome to email me at or leave me a message through here and tell me a bit about yourself and email. Cheers Brandi

I am a 26 year old Nurse from Melbourne and I have struggled with my weight and self perception for as long as I can remember. I have a loving and wonderful family, a great group of friends and a beautiful partner.

married, mother of 2

I'm in my twenties and live in the electric city with my boyfriend, cat, and fish. I love weather and went to school for Meteorology (though that's not what I do now) I love fall, and snow storms. I like baking but need to learn how to actually cook. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Easter. I have one sister who I'm really close with. I drive an old car with lots of bumper stickers. I love all kinds of music along with singing/dancing like crazy. I love aviators and sun dresses. I have bad eyesight, scoliosis and a little gap in my teeth, unique right? haha. Well there's a little about me!

I am 50 years old a strict vegetarian.prefer ideas on diet.

I'm a twenty-two year old recent graduate. Right now, I'm in the midst of sitting for my LSAT and GRE exams, applying to law schools (and one grad school) and finding a full time job for the next year--hopefully in the D.C. area. Currently, I work part-time as a sales associate in a plus-size boutique to accommodate my studies. Two of my greatest earthly pleasures are food and travel, though I harbor an equally voracious appetite for the written word, antiques, tech and fashion, vintage and otherwise. I have been fortunate enough to travel often and well for someone of my limited years and hope to continue that trend, as well as maintain the language skills that have been a delightful result.

I am 27 years old. Have been pretty active for te past few years falling off the ban wagon here and there with regards to my workout routines and diet. Time to get my ass in gear and stop making excuses.. Hoping if I try a new way of changing these habits I won't loose motivation.

I'm almost 70 and am starting to think that I'm too old to make progress at anything. But, sometimes I'm young at heart and think I can move forward. I need to move forward and lose 20-30 lbs, especially weight around the belly. Snacking at night continues to be my downfall.

I'm 19 years old and studying abroad, in London. i started to live on my own when i turned 18 and I never expected things to become this way. In September 2011 I was perfectly healthy and was 50KGS, but I thought maybe I need to "tone up" more, I started running like a hamster on the treadmill and restricted my intake to 1200 Kcal daily... My diet was changing everyday started with weight watcher to Atkins and Dukan. This lasted for about 9 months, i was not only looking worse but also my organs were failing and never had my period again, and of course my metabolism went crazy. On my 19 birthday since I have almost no friends around me (I'm a really outgoing and friendly person but i just failed to make new friends in London, it feels like everyone has got someone to keep them company and no one needs me), I thought with myself "no body cares about me so why should I?!" I turned into a binge eater, went through jars of Nutella and peanut butter, pastries (I'm allergic to gluten so just imagine how I felt and looked like...) and i didn't care at all, i was so unmotivated, had crying attacks on a daily basis, i was all on my own and nobody controlled me. As a result I gained 16KGs. It's been 2 months since then that I'm trying to change putting my best effort cuz i WANT to change, I just can't believe I let all this happen to me. At the moment, I haven't lost any weight but I've lost around %10 of body fat so far and my form is changing which makes me happy! My binging episodes has been reduced so much! I just go missing in action during the weekends, but i binge healthy stuff like veggies and the worst one was on the almond butter, oops! (Still, better than Nutella right?!!!;) )

I am 5'2 in my early 40's and the mother of an young adult son and adult daughter. I have been sedentary for about 3 years. I enjoy music, reading and writing and I love to dance and sing.

I am 51, I have been married for 26 years. I have three children and three grandchildren. I discovered I am a stres eater. I was in denial about being a stress eater. With the latest stress I have been under, I found myself running for the cereal, the cookies, the chips, the candy, etc. I have to realize I can not change the stressful situation, but I can control how I react to it.

I'm a 44 year old mother of a 3 year old and a 22 year old, both girls. I have not been able to shed the baby weight since having my youngest daugther in 2008, and in fact I think I'm heavier now than I was when I first had her

I am a 63 year old retired mental health profession living on a low, fixed income. I fractured my ankle 6yrs. ago which left me with a slight limp and fewer options for working out. I'd love to find more walking buddies!

I'm 37 years old. Hit my highest weight of about 243 lbs a few years ago. Decided to give WW a try, since my wife signed up. Started walking, then eventually running. After completing a half marathon, I hung up the running shoes for "a month" to recover. That turned into 2 years of not really following a weight plan or getting the necessary activity. I have now gained back about 65 lbs of what I lost. I was able to drop about 15 lbs again, by self monitoring. Then I came across PEERtrainer, and after reviewing the Cheat System, decided that I'd give that a try. I also decided to sign up for the Cleanse. I'm a bit weary about the Cleanse, but will give it my all and see how I come out at the end.

I'm around 190lbs and on a fast track to hitting 200lbs.. I've always been a really lazy person, but in the past I've had friends who would alway get me active. Now that I don't see these people as often due to work and what not I'm way less active. I need the support of others and that extra push to keep me going in the right direction.
