I am a proud mother of 4 children ages 23, 20, 19 and 10. My business is a Taxi Service in the Rutland area of Vermont which is thriving. There are a few characteristics that I am proud of; a pure drive to be the best, honesty, blunt and to the point is my nature, kind and empathetic to every person.

I am 46yrs old. I work full time as a Director of a fortune 500 technology company. I have a wonderful husband and 2 boys ages 11 and 13. I love fitness and excersise. I taught Step and Spin classes for many years up until I moved abroad (Barcelona Spain) for my work. I am trying to make it work here, we are a bit home sick and I feel like I emotional eat at night.

I gave birth to a very healthy 7 lb 10 oz baby boy on January 2, 2012. He is the light of my life right now and keeps me very much on my toes.

I am 33, a mom to two great girls (7yo and 1yo) I work in marketing and communications and love my job. I live in Toronto but I am originally from Dublin. I have a very expensive addiction to travel and enjoy a glass or 4 of red wine :) 6 months ago I finally freed myself permanently from a smoking habit.

I'm 16, 5'7 (and a quarter), and weight around 120 pounds. I'm Polish, but I have lived in portugal since ever ( which I don't particularly like ). Have NOT eaten any junk food or candy / chocolate / cake / dessert, since October 2010 (and am just fine without them). Have been a vegetarian since the 12th of August (2011). I still eat eggs (quail eggs) every morning as well as some cheese. I want to become vegan and raw foodist!!!

I love many types of music but not rap or hip hop. I like Japanese culture and love to watch anime and read manga. I don't watch much tv, but I can watch hours of stuff on youtube, so I guess my brain is rotting just as much as it would be if i watched tv....basically i'm lazy

Im a hair stylist awith 3 kids and married to the greatest man in the world!! I love to travel, shop watch tv and do stand up comedy!! :)

I have crossed the 55 mark and since starting menopause I have gained consistently. Every year I lose the same 20 lbs and gain them back and find 5 more. I walk everywhere (nyc) I go to the gym consistently bootcamp 2x+ a week, core classes, yoga, and still the same. Anyway...tired of the same cycle hoping this can really bring on a permanent change.

I work very hard, help many people but never take time for me.

I am a 25 year old Mother of a 2 year old. I'm very outgoing, love traveling and meeting new people. Currently in a relationship with my baby's father (who I'm not happy with) I seem to be settling because ive become very self conciouse. I'm 5.5 currently weigh 270 pounds. I'm a little disoriented when it comes to dieting, I must say I have failed multiple times... I'm ready andwilling to do what it will take but I lack confidence and most of all motivation. I really want to be the best example for my little girl... Hope to hear from members with tips and motivational comments.

My name is Raven Dean and I will be 25 this year. I have three beautiful kids and an amazing husband. I have two beautiful younger sisters also. I have always been the big girl in the group and I am tired of it. I am ready to look beautiful as well as feel beautiful!! I hope that this program helps and I can find the support I need to get through this.

Twenty something living in Paris.

I am 29, I am a sales director of a new GPS tracking company. we opened our doors last year and are slowly taking off. I have two beautiful children and am a single parent. I have never struggled with my weight before so I know what life will be l;ike when I'm back to normal again.

I'm a young professional in NYC. I am originally from the Bay Area, but I love this city and chose to stay! I'm starting a new job in October and really want to start off on the right foot. That means committing to a morning routine that I can stick to once I start work.

51 year old Professional, Mother, Wife,Oldest Daughter who started menopause last year (lovely) promised herself that when May came this year, she would be 30 lbs. thinner, healthy and energized. It did not happen. YET!!

I love spending time with my family and friends and would do anythng to make them happy. This has often meant puting other people first. I now need to step up and put myself first so I can achieve my health goals. I have not been in the healthy weight range in my adult life so this is where I want to be.

I have been married for 15 yrs, have 2 children, my son is 18, my daughter is 13. I work night shift in a hosptial, and try to work out 2-3 x a week. Some weeks i succed, some i dont! I am enjoying this new phase of my life, and do feel the best i have ever felt in my entire life. 40 IS GREAT! lol

i am 36 mother of 3 i currently weight 183lb and want to loose 15lbs and lower my blood pressure.

I'm a health nut who works out enough, but I've got a hideously slow metabolism and joint problems. So I have to limit my exercise to cardio that doesn't hurt and lifting. My biggest problems are sweets, overeating, and the 'special occasions' that pop up seemingly a few times a week. I have a problem with exercising. On the day when I exercise a lot, I usually don't lose weight until the following day. Particularly if I don't exercise that next day. It's frustrating because it's hard to motivate myself. And sometimes I don't lose weight for days. It's easier to not work out. But I want to look muscular... ???

All lasting business is built on friendship

I'm an 18 year old from Ireland, and am currently about fifty pounds overweight. I've always put weight on during the year and then lost it in the summer. However last year I had a stressful summer due to exams and gained a lot of weight. This summer I want to begin a new lifestyle and finally keep some weight off.

50 year old just plugging along, I put a few pounds on over the last year and want to get them off and a few more.

Dad of 3, type 1 diabetic since I was 10.

37 yo married mother of 4 (7, 5, 5, and 1). Full time computer developer.

I am 52 years old . Love to workout . Trying to be the healthy in my food choices . wanting to kick my sugar and carb addiction

I'm in my late 20's and my metabolism ain't what she used to be and I've been gaining weight for the last 2-3 years; however, this year has been a big weight gain year. I joined Weight Watchers about a month ago and have lost 4lbs, which is awesome. But, I'd like to be losing at minimum 1lb/week, ideally 2.

I am a 27 year old female and I have many many goals and talents. For many years though I haven't even bothered to reach any of my goals which varied from one thing to another. I didn't bother to push myself or try harder because the bottom line was...I didn't think I could. I let my past failures get to me rather then fuel me to be better. Finally at 27 (about to be 28) I am motivated enough to get my body back. Im also motivated to start my career as an illustrator and to get serious with my art. I want to better all aspects of my life, not just my health. When it comes to weight I have fluctuated back and forth for a while. I'd lose it all with the new and improved "diet" and without changing my lifestyle (I mean who wants to live on those diets?) I gained it all back. I was tired of it....sick of it! So Im putting my foot down and I will do it this time. Im going to get my military body back and I will rock a bikini this summer. My 10 year high school reunion is also coming up this July so.....I have to! LOL

I am a 29yr old mother and wife, I am very fun, loving and outgoing. I love riding my bike and going for walks

I am 15 years of age. About to start 11th grade. My whole family (including step family) is obese. I'm not losing weight for someone else or because someone called me fat. I'm losing weight for myself. I am BEAUTIFUL! And I deserve to be happy. My body deserves the best. :) I'm a granny's girl!! :D Sadly I lost my grandmother to esophageal cancer November 3rd of 2011, the day after her birthday. She was just 54. She was very religious, very devoted to God. She always told me how important it is to get right with God. Sadly I ignored it. Even when she was on the death bed (I didn't know she was that close to death at the time - she was stage four when they found it and I wasn't told until a week before my birthday - May 17) I wish I would have listened. I am now right with God in every way that I should be. I just wish she could have been here for this. (btw I look just like her :))

I'm 22 working in the seafood industry in Dutch Harbor, Alaska

A few years after my second child I started gaining weight and topped at 225lb....couldn't understand why I could not take it off but later found out I suffered with thyroid problems which added to the problem. After I started treating this I started to loose the weight again but am stuck at 185.

I started to gain weight when I started the Depo Shot for birth control. It added 60 pounds on me when I was 170 pounds. I have gone downhill, and tried many times to lose weight. This time I am determined and have even set up a reward program for myself.

I love motorcycles - I do most of my own maintenance on my bikes, I ride both street and track, and hope to get into road racing in the near future. I also love animals, have a retired horse, dogs, cats, etc.

I am very active. I work over 40hrs. a week taking mentally and physically ill patients. I have two children and two grandchildren with one on the way. I

I'm 26 years old, I have never been thin in my life. 2 months ago I weighed myself and it was 205, although I have never been thin in my life, I also have never gone pass 200 lbs. That was the last straw. I decided to do something. that was two months ago. Since then, I have lost about 15 lbs and still going.

I am a 66 year old Australian, living in Seoul and teaching English at a university there. I have had both hips replaced and while I was incapacitated with my hips I gained about 6kg a year resulting in a gain of 40+ kg before I had my hips fixed. Now I have no excuses but I am finding it difficult to get back into an exercise program as I have always played a lot of competitive sport and never really worked out. Now I have to work out and I find it really tedious.

I am 24-year old woman, who has recently graduated a prestigious university, but in the meantime has gained quite some weight. For the past 1 year (since I have graduated and have a good job), I have lied to myself that I can loose this weight very easily, but I have lacked the motivation to do so. Now I want to change things!

I'm a young 35 year old army wife, mama and future gym- owner. (Saving my pennies!) I lost 18 pounds just through running this year. I'm strong and a normal weight, but I am ready to take my fitness to the next level! I need people to motivate me to really push myself! I'll be happy to do the same for anyone! I have dreams of marathons and fitness competitions, and want fit friends (even just virtual ones) to go that road with me!

Hello Everyone... I am a 40 year old mother of one and have, for the most part, been at a reasonable weight. However, there's always room for improvement! After a great birthday and Mother's Day week, I'm ready to lose about 15 pounds. I've been conscious of my weight for the last 15 years, since giving birth to my son. My co-worker introduced me to this book a few years ago but I never made an effort to try it. Of all the diets I've done, this one was not one of them. I'm starting day one of phase one tomorrow. I'm pretty excited about the end result. My destiny has been to keep a sensible weight and I plan to keep @ it until have complete control of what I consume in my body daily. I look forward to all the comments and advice. Thanks and Happy Journey!

i love to have fun, be around my friends, party, write & sing music.

I am married with two children. I work at a job where I sit alot and I am feeling the effects. I need to get more exercise.

I enjoy movies, cooking, and dancing. I'm open minded and willing to try almost anything at least once. I hope one day I can decide to lose weight because of me and my own personal choices. I enjoy writing, and fortunately, it coincided with my unrelated discovery of essay writing, follow the link if you are interested and need help in writing.

I am a 55yrs young professional with 2 children and 5 grandchildren

I'm a 47 y.o., 5' 10" woman who lost 50 lbs a few years ago. I was slim and athletic growing up, but went on to gain about 2 lbs./year after leaving college. The math wasn't looking good! I still had this concept of myself as a thin person, but my self-image and reality were seriously out of wack. I finally resolved to drop the weight, and I did it on my own with portion control and exercise. I had been letting the pounds creep on when I got slammed with a slipped disk last fall. I emerged from the perfect storm of steroids, prohibited exercise and holiday excess 20 lbs. heavier. I realize that I never truly reformed my overeating habits and that I need support to stay vigilant. That's why I'm here.

Im happy SAHM. I have two young boys and a great (and athletic) husband. Everything about my life I LOVE, except my weight, my fitness and my appearance. I want to change these things, this year, for good.

I am a 26 year old Christian female. My life thus far has focused on obtaining a career and putting myself through college working two jobs to support myself. After seven long hard years, I am now working as a clinical therapist, and have begun a new milestone in my life. I have always focused on others and making the people around me happy. I have come to the conclusion that it is time to focus on myself and making me happy.Maintaining Weightloss is my struggle. I am able to loose 100 pounds, and put it right back on three months later. Recently I began a new journey with my focus on turning to GOd to help through this food addiction.

As a child I was always the fat girl in school. I always had big boobs and was made fun of for it. As I have got older my good friend helped my realize that I am big and beautiful. Well my goal is to just say I am beautiful without having to add big hehe.

I am 29 and live in California. I have been married nine years this September, and have three children. I taught third grade at a local private christian school before I became pregnant with my son in 2009. Since then I have been homeschooling my children and love it! I wish I had done it sooner! Through all of that though I have only maintained the weight I gained in 2004 and am hoping some accountability here will be a motivator in finally making a change.

I work at a western wear store and I am a D J. I want to get healthy and fit into my clothes again. Most importantly I want to take care of myself for my wife and two daughters.

I am 29 yrs old ahhhh. I have 2 wonderful children my son is 10 and my daughter is 8. I have been married almost 9 years happily. But I have struggled with being over weight since grade 6. And have been over 300 pounds for many years and I am sick of it.

I'm a 42 yr old Grandma on this long journey of weight loss. Started at 310 lbs July of 2011 and currently at 234 lbs. Happy I'm on a steady road and frustrated because I want to be done already..LOL I know I will get there. PATIENCE!!!

I am 18, and recently graduated. I grew up in a family of performers and artists, and I danced my entire life. About a year ago I discovered aerials, and recently have decided that circus arts are what I wish to pursue in life. I know, not every day someone says they're running off to join the circus and they actually mean it, but I always was a little different...

I am 43 years old, 5'6", and have been following a primal/paleo lifestyle for almost a year. My real challenge has been yo-yo dieting for the past 5 years. I gained 25lb 6 years ago during a very stressful divorce, and I can't seem to find my healthy balance since then. I keep losing it, and then going off the deep end with secret snacking and binge eating until I have piled it all back on. I am hoping that the emotional coaching and group support of Peertrainer will help me change that once and for all.

51, divorced, grown up son and daughter, ESL teacher.

38 yr. old Mom to 3 boys Part time RN

40+ female who works long hours, manages to sneak in a workout at least four times a week, but just can't seem to make any progress.

My longtime bf and I have 2 girls, one 9 and (surprise!) one 5 months. I'm a hairstylist and like to be active and fit. I want to be a good 'fit' role model for my girls. I've had weight issues my whole life and I'm trying to get to a maintenance point before I turn 32 in July. My happiest weight was after I had my first child and I busted my tail to get to a size 0 and weighed 108 lbs. Being a bit TOO thin, this time I'd like to be a size 2 maybe 115

I'm 14. Yes I may be a little too young to be worrying about my weight but it bothers me.

I'm a 50 year old post menapausal woman with type 2 diabetes and no energy! I don't have the drive or energy to do the things I once loved. I work 2 jobs sitting down at the computer. In 2009 I used medication to help me loose 50 pounds, but have since gained 20 pounds back. I struggle with self-control over foods.

I am a 58 year old woman who has been overweight for years and is now obese. I lost weight and maintained a good weight loss for a while but then suffered an injury which made exercise more difficult. When the weight came back on I just gave up for a while but now I know I have to find a way to be free of the burden of extra weight for lift.

I'm 47, a single mother of 4.

The time you know the best aspects of Kitchen Cabinets renovation you can have innovative ideas for designs which can help you have free space.

Senior. Patriotic-an Obama supporter. Love the outdoors but hate the Texas summer heat. Had my sons late in life when I was old enough to be their grandmother-raised them in a log cabin on top of a mountain 14,000' up where it snowed 10 months of the year & miss it. Have a part-time job doing payroll & database, looking for a full time job doing similar or 2 part-time jobs doing similar. Like painting, gardening, animals, chess, bowling, movies, crochet, pool, would not want to live without music & color, & will not give up pasta or wine with my dinner. My biggest vice/poison is bread, especially garlic bread, and over eating at night, especially when I get home from work exhausted and not enough energy to be diligent with self-control. I am a happy atheist & understand that not everyone is. Do not have a thyroid (confirmed by 2 gland specialists) so I have a very hard time losing weight.

I'm a mom of 4

I'm 19 and I have a 1year old son. I used to be a lot smaller but once I had my son I gained a lot of weight. I really need the motivation to lose my weight. It seems like I always do really good and the something seems to happen.

I DO NOT like looking in the mirror at what is looking back at me.

I'm a freelanced professional. Everything seems all right, but I know what I know: I'm not the best of me. It's time to give it a real try.

I am 25 years old and am a stay-at-home mom.

I am a bored eater, emotional eater,i love food never precieve fullness i talk my way out of sticking to it cause i have always failed!!!!

I'm 29, I'm a new mom of a 6 month old adorable baby girl. It's been a challenge to cook healthy meals and spending time in the kitchen has not been my priority. But i recently looked at myself in mirror and realize i'm letting myself go. I'm a few pounds away from the weight i was during my last month of pregnancy. Pretty much i feel heavy, drained, extremely tired and my RA is worse by the day and with every pound i keep getting> I feel at my worse stage in life (bodywise) I want to improve my eating habits for my own health benefit, to cure my rheumatism and to enjoy the day around my new baby girl. I also stop nursing my daughter for lack of milk supply and i bounce back to drinking for any reason and every excuse i could find is becoming a huge problem because i drink to feel happy somehow i know i'm feeling unhappy about my body and i'm only making my problem worse. Plus my husband has talked to me about stopping and is getting concerned.

I am 35 yrs old with 2 children. I work full time and find it hard to juggle family, work, and working out. I need to find my inner motivation!!!!

16 years old, i love shopping music watching tv hahah not the most healthiest things. would love to share my experiences with you guys!

I work a full time job and attend college full time which makes it difficult to squeeze in workouts. I am married with no kids and I enjoy reading and crafts.

I'm currently studying for the personal trainer exam. I LOVE cardio and workouts that are more structured (I don't really care for the dance cardio.). Even though I know how to lose weight successfully, I have a HUGE problem. I self-sabotage. Every time I lose weight, I sabotage myself and gain it right back....some times more. When I'm in the process of sabotaging myself, I quickly realize that that's what I'm doing, but I find it extremely hard to stop myself. I believe that the majority of my problem comes from not having a support system. So I'm hoping that joining Peer Trainer will help me and give me the support that I desperately need. My extra weight is holding me back from being happy with myself. It's holding me back from having the confidence I need in order to be successful in my chosen career.

I am 44 yrs old and married with two daughters. I work as an administrative assistant for the libraries at the state university.

52 years old, divorced, fat. Need I say more?? :-)

I am a substitute teacher. I have lost 30 pounds with JJ's program.

I am working out around knee and wrist pain, plus I broke 3 ribs, clavicle, vertebrae, scapula and some teeth in an mountain bike accident a few years ago. So I swim, yard work (organic garden), & resistance train

48 yr old single mother of three, full custody 10, 14 & 16. Work full time. Been dieting since I was 12. Heaviest I've been since I was pregnant. Emotional eater and wine lover!!!!!

I am 21 years old, a college student and I used to weight 170lbs, now I weigh 130lbs, and my goal is to maintain this weight. October of 2011 I started losing weight (I began going out with my current boyfriend and wanted to get fit!) and well since then I have lost 40 pounds. I love food, but I have learned to eat healthier and not go crazy like before (my family owns a restaurant so they always bring back pastas and breads and desserts) and I would always end up eating a slice of cake at night, or flan here and there (I love sweets they are my weakness!). Now I try to eat healthier and restraint myself.
