HUGE Razorback fan here so no Arkansas jokes! :) Been a police officer for 8 eight years, most of that in St. Louis. I am currently at the Strafford PD. Moved to Springfield in 2010 from St. Louis. Not married and no kids.

I am the CEO for a non-profit software development company. I am married and have a 10 year old son. I love reading, volleyball, and watching great tv shows.

I am a very cool person...

I love to cook and love to eat. Potato chips are my weakness. I don't mind getting up early to go work out. But when I get there, I get lazy.

I'm a 51-year old mom of two, married almost 30 years. I currently weigh about 245 pounds and have not been at a healthy weight since the early 90's. Food is my go to for any emotion and, at times, I feel like it is the only comfort available. I've worked at getting outside of my own head through weekly therapy for over a year and I'm ready to feel like the funny, smart, wonderful person I really am.

I am an active person at work, I do activities in a Skilled Nursing Unit. I am always on the go, walking everywhere, but somehow I always find comfort in food. I love my job, I love my residents, and I want my body and my attitude to reflect that!

I am 78 years old and lead a very active life. I like to entertain at home...cocktail parties and dinner parties. This is fun but doesn't help with my weight. I plan to stop drinking wine etc. in hope that it will help me get off to a good start.

Married, mother and grandmother.

49 year old female who will be turning 50 next month. I want to stop talking about losing weight and eating healthier and just finally do it.

I'm a mom to a nearly 3 year old who is very bright and very active. My husband and I have been married for over 3 years. I work in banking here in the Portland area.

Have been struggling with my weight for almost 40 years now. I want to kick this habit of riding the weight rollercoaster for good!

I am a mother of 4 wonderful and athletic children that always have me driving them to practice and games . I have totally lost track of who I am and only know myself as a wife, mother, and business woman.

I have 7 children, with 4 at home. I teach at Bible Study Fellowship every Monday night. I am married to a 6-ft tall husband who can lose weight by simply thinking about it and who looks tall & slim. I am short & am starting to look fat, so I really want to do this to stay in shape.

I've been up, I've been down. Currently working at a stressful job in which I generally try to sooth the shortcomings with afternoon snacks before dinner. That needs to end. I'm going to try working out the minute I get home in efforts to curb this nasty habit I've developed.

Ex Athlete/Trainer intrested in Health and Fitness Maintenace. Weightloss just comes with the territory. Love outdoors and very motivating to those that need a little push. Support, Discipline & Encouragement is Key!!

I'm 48, mother of 2 grown children, work full time. Until the age of 35, I wore a size 3. In the past decade, I have steadily increased my weight by 30 pounds. Part of the reason I struggle with my weight is because I work long hours at a mostly sedentary job. I do not consume too many calories, but I do not eat healthful, whole foods on a daily basis.

I am a "snacker". I have had this addiction since childhood. I like chips, bread, crackers, and nuts. I can't help myself, but with the help of the group, I hope to break this terrible habit once and for all!

I am 21, and have been over weight for about 5 years now, i am currently at 290lbs and would like to at least lose 100lbs

Semi retired

47 y/o Wife, Mother, Friend, Accountant, Vegetarian, Animal Lover, and Aspiring Yogini.

39yrs old - 135lbs . I work a lot but have a hard time keeping motivated, I love to cook and I have and addiction to fatty foods. I keep going back and forth with my weight I am barely 5ft tall and I just need to get to healthier in what i eat and how I take care of myself.

I am 54 yrs old . Mother of three , I am a social care worker in a home for the elderly. I love the outdoors , walking and riding a bike although since passing my test i tend to drive everywhere. not good lol . I love animals and i have 6 indoor rabbits which keep me busy . would love a dog but live in an apartment .

I'm a 31-year-old mother of two (3 and 19 mo) who has been a weight-yo-yo her whole life. I need help with motivation and accountability, especially with the demands of two young children constantly looming :)

I love to ride 4 wheelers, hang out with my family and friends.

My name is Sam. I am 23 years old. I am in my last semester of college at MSU. I have always been active in sports, but somehow lost my drive to workout lately.

I am a mother of 4 kids that has a great career in the insurance industry. My husband of 9 years is very supportive of my efforts. I have to be fit for my kids. They are active and require a lot of physical attention.

I'm a 17 year old girl who has struggled with weight my whole life. I've always been "the fat one". When I look back at childhood pictures of me and my sister, I feel like I was humongous compared to her. But, now that the New Year has come, I am turning a new leaf. I'm going to change my life. With or without the help of my family.

I am a Nurse Practitioner and a mom of a 7 month old beautiful baby boy. I have been out of the diet and exercise loop for 7 + 9 months and I am looking for a jumpstart back!!

I am 59 yrs old, single for many years. Have 2 grown kids. OA drop out. Know I need support group to lose weight. Have had a weight problem most of my life. I still can hear my father telling me when I was 10 that people don't like fat people and that no one was going to like me.

My name is Christy. I'm 38 years old. Married to my high school sweetheart. I'm a pediatric nurse and mom to a toddler!

I have tried every diet and workout fad known! I dont want t a temporary "fix" anymore. I want to live a balanced life while keeping my weight at a steady number.

I am a 24 year old who is still trying to determine exactly my life's path....I have an English literature degree from University but I am going back to start a path towards a career in Nursing. I have so many expectations for myself because I KNOW I can be the person I want to be, but day to day I lack motivation and drive.

I am a mom of 2 year old twin girls. I have been married for 5 years. I work a full time job. I find it difficult to stick with healthy choices

Hi, my name's Koty, im 21 years old and im an auto body technician. 5'9" currently 187lbs, started at 194lbs. I was 165lbs when I graduated highschool and would like to get back to that point. I've been attending the gym for about two months now, but have just recently started cracking down on my diet.

I am 22 I have been married for almost a year to my best friend in the entire world. I have a 13 month old and a going on 3 week old. I just had our second son and although I've never liked my body since I have been big my whole life, after having this baby I have become far more insecure about my body. This insecurity has effected my relationship as I don't really like my husband to see me change or even naked. I love to cook and try new recipes- I've never been big on fruits and veggies but since being married and cooking more I've been venturing out and trying more. I'm also a stay at home mom so I don't get out much I hope to be going back to school in the summer and hopefully back to work as well which will hopefully help with some of my insecurity.

male 57

From Uganda one of over 50 countries in Africa. Married with two children. Training in Applied human nutrition but currently working in a family business.

I'm in my late 20s and have really slipped into workaholic mode for the past several years. I used to run regularly and eat in moderation, but somewhere along the lines I became more of a stress eater and my free time was spent fulfilling emotional needs like going out with friends, finally vegging on the couch or worst of all, emotionally eating.

middle aged, healthy and conscience of what i eat

I am a mom to 2 kids, my son Quinn age 6 and daughter Loghan age 4. I am married 7 years to my best friend and awesome husband Jamie who is naturally thin!! I have gained alot of weight these last 2.5 years after quitting smoking and working from home. I am someone who has always stayed thin and active and am finding it difficult as my husband works shift work, I work from home and my kids are too young to go out with me in the evenings!

Well I am 30 years old. Have been a wife for 12 years. I have no kids but two wonderful doggies.

I’ve always struggled with weight, since age of 12. Been on many diets, but after having a baby and crossing the 40 years old line, I cannot lose weight and keep it off. I am 40-50 lbs overweight, can barely play with my 4 years old, not much energy, demanding job with long hours, and no inclination for cooking. I find it difficult to eat only specific foods or make sophisticated recipes especially that I’m at work most of the day.

I am 65 and teach special education students at the high school level. It's a new campus for me and it's made for mountain goats. It's nesltled into the side of a coastal range on the Monterey Bay. I had hip replacement surgery last May, and the exercise I get just walking aound here has been good for me. Dropping the weight I want will be a definite improvement for both my physical and mental well-being.

22 years old, newlywed, new to California from North Carolina, love to cook, artist, amateur photographer

Mother of a three year old, wife, work full time

I'm a stay at home mum of a nearly 2yr old girl, 2 boys 6 and 11 and a thirteen yr old girl, all very gorgeous. My lovely husband has a sedentary job, eats what he likes and hates exercising but stays thin which is utterly frustrating! I like doing almost any form of art or craft and like to always have some project on the go as it keeps me insane, I mean sane. I'm also a dark choc and flavoured coffee junky which is not so great, but on the plus side I've always enjoyed exercising. Oh, and licoricey is my sister and invited me to join!

I'm 53, married, and have two boys, ages 15 and 12. I was on PeerTrainer in 2012, diligently did Point of No Return, and lost 15 lbs, then I injured my back (2 torn discs) in September 2012. With all the pain I was in-- and the fact that I couldn't get to my refrigerator for a lonnnng time-- lost another 5 lbs, for 20 total. I've been in physical therapy now for almost 9 mos and have realized that 10 of the 20 I lost have now crept back on. I refuse to go back to my "fat clothes"-- in fact, I think I got rid of most of them, so this is do or die for me. I lost my job due to my injury too, so we are living through a very stressful time but need to stay healthy through it all. Stress and menopause are wreaking havoc on my body as what use to be my body's "favorite weight" of about 150 over the past two years has crept ever upward, despite exercise. Bottom line is I need to lose 20 lbs-- but most of all I want to stay healthy and strong so I can be chasing my boys around for another 10 years. I play piano, love knitting, enjoy gardening, quilting, photography, love to read and follow politics. Oh... and I have that COFFEE thing going on as well.

I am a 32 yr old that has four handsome boys, ages 13, 8, 3, and 2 1/2 months. I have a wonderful partner is is very supportive. I am going back to school full time in two weeks and am very excited! With this excitement comes frustration and worry as well. I just started eating Vegan again and am still learning how to eat well when I always on the run. I am excited to reach my goals for this summer I would like to be allot healthier.

I am 40 years old, and married with an awesome wife. I have a wonderful daughter who is 10. I'm also involved in a pit bull rescue program. I have a pit bull named Elwood , and a Boston Terrier named Maggie. I grew up as a hard working farm boy. Started wrestling at the age of 6, and continued through high school, and college. I work with mental and physical disabled clients including high school students. I train clients to enter or return back into the workforce through various job training programs.

I'm 64 and have been retired 11 years. I like to travel and know I'd love it more if I were in better shape. I like photography, and I spend probably too much time on the internet surfing for things of interest and social networking sites.

41 yr old mother of three, attending school to a x-ray tech. I've decided to get motivated to loose weight .so that I can be around for my kids! Be able to do things and be active with my kids . Without being out of breathe!

I am 56 and 5'5". Up until around age 50 I weighed between 135-140 and was always trying to lose a few pounds at that weight! Prior to that I weighed 125-130, which I feel is a great weight for me. I currently weigh 150 and need to stop the weight gain before it gets totally out of hand! I would love to get back down to 125-130 - that's where I feel the best. I am really looking forward to the next two weeks of clearing all the Holiday splurging out of my system and getting back on track to a healthy fit body.

I am 43, a mother of 3 active boys who works full time. My husband works long hours seven days a week. So our house can be chaotic. this year I am trying to take control of my eating and lose the extra weight that has been creeping on over the years.

I've been a healthy and active person for most of my life, until I hurt my back in a wrestling match in high school. I've struggled with serious back issues since then, often making it difficult for me to exercise. Being a wrestler also caused some strange relationships with food, including my body's consistent reactive hypoglycemia. I have a few hurdles, but am determined to get off some of the extra weight I gained.

I was born and raised in Hawaii with 2 sisters and a brother. Growing up, I was always considered the fat one in my family. Now I am 40 years old, married and have a 19 year old son. And still the biggest amongst my siblings. In high school, I was a cheerleader and running was a intergral part of practice time. Even after practice, I would take a run around my hometown, so I considered myself pretty fit during my high school years. I am no stranger to working out. After high school, that was when the pounds came on. Having a baby then basic life came into play and viola I am fat. I think I am obsessed with my weight. Been on all kinds of different diets. I am tired of the word diet!! So now I want to refocus my thinking to eating healthier and working out. I have recently rediscovered my love for running. I signed up for the 2008 Honolulu Marathon and while on vacation, I badly injured my ankle opting out of the marathon to recover. I went to a couple of doctors, went through weeks of physical therapy, then to acupuncture. Nothing helped! My sister brought me to a Bikram Yoga years ago and then I stopped going. So I reintroduced hot yoga into my workout regimen and I was well on the road to recovering from my ankle injury. I signed up for my first marathon, the 2009 HNL marathon and finished in 7:29:29. Thanks to Bikram yoga, I recovered in a couple of days. I continue to pursue running. I have completed a few 5k & 10ks and 3 half marathons and did the 2011 HNL marathon with my pr at 6:45:45. I still consider myself the back of the packers. But I do it for me because it makes me feel accomplished.

In my late 20's and all through my 30's, I pursued weight loss mainly for the sake of others and I succeeded (and failed myself). I exercised six days per week (one hour each day). I took far too many vitamins. And I ate heavily processed low-fat food. Then, feeling invincible, I thought there could be no-consequences. After some consequences, and developing the ability to understand these consequences, I have now decided to use the intelligence I have to make intelligent choices about My Overall Health. In my 40's, I have abandoned _looking_ good on the outside for-others and am now pursuing _feeling_ good on The Inside and The Outside. . .For Myself.

I am a working mother with one child who plays rep soccer and ringette. I wish to participate with my child's sports but I must lose 20 pounds first. I've joined cross fit for exercise and I hope PeerTrainer will help with my weight loss.

I am a full-time Realtor at Carol Jones, my mother and I are experts at selling residential real estate in Springfield. I am from Houston, MO, went to Drury University, broad professional background and most recently got engaged to my fiance Emily, She is awesome and we are getting hitched March 3! She is a coach and teacher at Willard.

I am 35 years old and I'm tired of being out of shape. I have a 4 year old daughter who is my world and I am a huge MU fan. I practice law during the day.

I am a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, and coach at CrossFit Springfield.

I am a 26-year-old performing artist and teacher. To feel confident as I audition and get hired to perform, and to be a good role model for my students, I need to change my habits and my body. I also feel out of control in many areas, and believe that reigning in this part will help with the rest.

mum of 4 married for 10 yrslive in a coastal village.

I am married to a great guy and we have two of the most amazing boys. Caeden is 5 and Mason is 8 months. I have been Crossfitting for almost three years but have fallen off the wagon and haven't worked out since October. I am excited to get back into the sick addiction that is CrossFit.

I am 46 and fairly active. I walk at least 3 miles everyday at work ( 5 days a week). I walk or bike ride on my days off. I have signed up for a 100 mile bike ride in May. I hope that I can clean up my diet and be in a great state of mind by that time. My number 1 enemy right now is menopause. It sucks!

I am a 25 year old mother of 2. I just married the love of my life in July!

I'm about to turn 49 years old!!!

I am a stay at home mom of a 2 year old boy. I love to work out, but lack the motivation when so tired from waking up with son throughout the night. I want to get my motivation back to work out in the morning.

I am a 39 single mom of two girls that are 8 and 11. I am a full time student in a nursing program. I am going through a very stressful divorce and have become an emotional eater.

42, formally active, still play softball, volleyball, and golf and it's not enough. Have nagging injuries- both knees and both shoulders. Have three young kids.

I'm 24. Have a 13 week old son, and 30 pounds left to lose to be at pre-baby weight. I love working out and go almost everyday. But I stink at dieting! I'd like to get my diet and nutrition under control so I can have my body back!

Im 35, married to the most wonderful woman i've ever met, have 5 children(all girls) and own a metal fabrication business. Busy life but i am making time to be healthy this year!

I am 24 going on 25 and I am a compulsive eater. I am a health freak and have accomplished some radical fitness-centered ventures, but I have a problem with simply eating too much and too often. More importantly, though, I love to travel, volunteer, and explore ideas and concepts through eastern religions and alternative pathways. I always try to be happy and spread love to others!

I am 6 foot 4 inches tall 330 lbs big build. Never lifted weights and never ate right. love to do outside things but limited to what I can do.

I have gained around 15 pounds since running the mini marathon in Indy last year. I attribute that to the excessive eating and drinking I did prior to moving to Guam. However, I have been here for almost 6 months and have not lost any of the weight I gained! So now I am in cycle of feeling bad about my body and then giving up hope. I need to get motivated and stay positive!

I am a 38 year old triathlete. I quit smoking about 6 years ago and took up cycling which led to my interest in competing in triathlons. I have completed two Ironman events - Canada and Arizona. I enjoy working out but I struggle with horrible eating habits that need to change.

I work full-time. I read books and go to movies in my spare time. I am trying to live a greener and more simple life.

I enjoy my job which is abour shaping pharmaceutical markets and helping emerging economies to buy medicines on a large scale; BUT I need a better work life balance and so will be working on this...

28 y/o engaged to be married this October :) I am nurse, currently in graduate school and working part-time. I am looking forward to the day that I don't think about my weight everyday and be an example to my patients.

I love to workout and am thankful for life I have and the body I have been given. I do my best to take care of it, so I will be around fir my wife and son years from now.

I'm 18 and in my first year of university. Throughout high school I was super involved, but not really in the sports area. I focused on my activities and paid no attention to what I was eating and how it was affecting me. But now with my more free schdule I'm ready to focus on me. :)

I am a mom of a 2 year old and I get so tired chasing after her! I would love to be a size 8 and think I need to lose about 30 pounds to do so. I easily get sidetracked and fall "off" diets and my biggest hurdle is staying motivated.

I also own my own soil testing business and also have a conservationist job in the local government office.

As a single mom, I feel like I've been in survival mode for the past decade -- putting myself through college, launching a career, providing for my son. I'm finally at the point in my life where I can take a breath. Breathe. Om. Aaaaaaah . . . I've done a lot of spiritual and emotional work to get to where I am today and I'm ready for my outside to match my divine inside.

I am getting married this year and there is no way I am getting married looking the way I do

I'm a mid-20's new grad student. I'm petite and have a family history of diabetes (and being overweight)-- currently all of my relatives over the age of 40 either have it or are at risk-- and I'd like to avoid daily self-mutilation with needles if at all possible. I'd also like to bid adieu to the startling recent protrusion which, left unattended, looks like it could develop into a double chin. No children, but one sassy cat who expects the pampering of an infant.

Have some wonderful friends. Super fun husband is my energizer. Was a vegetarian for 3 years. I am Oma to two grandchildren.

My boyfriend is healthy and loves working out, I on the other hand have lost my love of it and have been packing on the pounds over the past few years. Married, 1 year old daughter, full time student

Im 51 and I work shift work so it's hard for me to get a routine going. And to find friends that are off when I am to exercise with. I know it feels good when I exercise and I need motivation to start! I love, love sugar!!!! I crave it like crazy.

I reacted by major emotional eating. Now life is a bit more on track and I am now ready to get back to where I was.

I'm 56 (almost 57), a nurse, mom, grandma. I moved to Georgia about 6 years ago, definitely loving the winters here after moving here from Ohio. I love the idea of PT for the support and information that's going to help me get healthy

I am in my early 50s, married with 2 adult children of college age. I have always been health conscious and i don't feel my diet is too off the mark. however life happens and sometimes you stray off the beaten path. how does one become hard core with diet. I am a 41 year old married woman with 2 children. I work part time in health care and am busy with volunteering at the local elementary school. Last year I lost 10lb's with a friend by calorie counting and exercising...but I have gained it all back + 2lbs and now it is time to get serious again.

I think I was at my healthiest weight in grade 8,9. In grade 10 and 11 I had gained a little weight but it wasn't until grade 12 that my weight really got out of control. I gained 30 pounds that year. Since then I have gained more weight, dieted and lost a little of that weight but then gained it back. I just really need to stay motivated to loose all this weight and keep it off!

Female, 44, married 25+ years, mother of 2 dogs and a cat, business owner

I'm a 48-year-old, wife, mother, and freelance copy editor preparing to re-enter the workforce full-time. My ultimate reason for wanting to take off this unhealthy weight once and for all is my family as well as myself. I need to be around for my son who has autism, but I also want to have renewed confidence and strength as I rejoin the outside-the-home working world. I'd love to grow stronger and more active as I age. I want to enjoy more challenging sports, such as skiing, biking and kayaking, instead of just walking/jogging for exercise.

Age in years, 50. But like you, I feel like life is just beginning and that I have so much to learn. I work from home and my schedule is stressed so sometimes I end up sitting to long, which makes me really not like blogging. I mean, I am not one to log in daily and share thoughts. But the evidence shows that this works, is it my missing link to success in overcoming food addiction?

I am soon to be 57, married, working and a mom. Two of my sons are in college and one is back living at home, reestablishing residency to go to school for his RN. I have struggled with weight my whole life and need to lose 30-40 lbs. I am half though with chemo for breast chancer, and am trying to eat healthier. I have managed to lose over 60 pounds on my own since 2010. Due to lack of motivation I am having hard time losing anymore pounds. My current weight is 185 pounds and I am trying to lose 25 pounds before summer of 2012. I am hopping joint. This team and using PT will give me the motivation to continue losing.

I live in College so losing this weight is going to be difficult. I am 20 years old and really need this weight to be gone.

I started my weight loss journey in 2010, aiming to lose weight for my 40th birthday. I managed to lose over 20 pounds through diet, exercise and determination. Sadly, I have gained almost all of it back in 2011, as I was struggling with work, sick pets at home, etc. Not hitting the gym was the main culprit and the holidays really killed me. I accept ownership and will be on top of it this year!

I am 48 years old, married, no kids. Even though I am 300lbs, I do dog agility. I would do a lot better if I could run faster. I'm tired of getting tired and winded. I want to be able to run. I want to reduce the risk of diabetes, heart attack, stroke, and cancer. I'm tired of my knees and feet hurting. I desperately want to lose the weight but I can't seem to get motivated and start losing. I feel like if I could just get started, I'd keep going.

I'm 21, married with an almost 5 month baby boy. I'm a stay at home mum and really want to be healthy, fit, toned and skinny. I'm just finding it hard to remain consistent.

I am 20 years old. I'm trying to find a way to pay for school to become a nurse. I am currently in very strong, healthy relationship. I have a few medical problems already that have not been 100% diagnosed, but are for sure causing problems with my physical well being. I would love to talk with anyone about anything health related. Whether it be about you or me.

Getting ready to retire and want a nice, long, healthy retirement. Noticing that when I signed on in 2012, my weight goal was 175 by March 1. I may have reached that, but now I'm at 188. Grrrr. But I have dropped down to 2 BP meds, and for me, that's a win. And I do have very high energy. That's really improved!

20 year-old female ballet dancer. The thing that is holding me back is my weight. 'Bingo flab' is not generally considered to be acceptable.

I'm a 24 year old Cardiac Surgical Technologist, so I see everyday what unhealthy eating habits (and bad genetics) do to your heart. I know that if I keep eating the way I am, I will end up in the same position as these people. Also, both of my parents are diabetics and I don't want to end up down the same path. I've already lost 25 pounds, but am struggling to meet my 40 pound weight-loss goal!

I have struggled with my weight since I gave birth to my youngest son.

I'm a health nut; I research food and exercise nearly daily. I started my health journey years ago, when I was pushing 190lbs. In about six months, I was down to 155. Then, last year, I became even more obsessed-- not about looking skinny or fitting into smaller clothes, but because I kept getting sick and wanted to use food as medicine, not antibiotics. I began exercising and eating healthier then ever, and got down to about 143lbs. Recently, I changed jobs, location, and had a lot of holiday food, and I'm at about 157.

30 year old business owner, dog lover, fashion obsessed!

Currently, I'm 26 living in Portland OR working for an amazing nonprofit called Playworks. I play with children and adults for a living at a school and integrating play into the classroom and recess playground. I've always been heavier than I should be and have practiced emotional eating and snacking in pretty unhealthy ways. I lived in Denver right before I moved to Portland and was the lightest I had been in years. 140 and working out A LOT! I often use workouts as an excuse to be able to eat more and I don't always prepare food well in advance and then scarf everything in sight. The rainy weather in portland demotivated me in a lot of ways when I first arrived, but I'm ready now.

I am a healthcare professional, singer, spiritually driven, and mother. My purpose in life is to bless people with the many gifts that I have been given.

57 yr old accountant, diagnosed with Type Ii three years ago after quitting smoking and putting on 20 lbs. No meds yet, and I want to keep it that way so I really need to lose some weight permanently.

54-year old female, former bodybuilder. I work 9 hours a day and moved to a city so I don't have the opportunities to hike and bike as I'd like. Recently changed to a vegan lifestyle because I want to live to be a healthy 100-year-old, and I love vegetables!

24 year old grad student with little time to focus on myself. my goal is to go from 160 lbs to 125. i'm less than 5 feet tall, so the weight shows. i'm a former college athlete and i used to be able to eat whatever i wanted, whenever i wanted and stay in great shape because i knew I'd work it off at practice or in the gym. unfortunately old habits die hard and i've had trouble self-motivating.

64 female semi-retired work from home Have gotten in a rut time for a change.

45-year-old mother of 3 (ages 9-17); married for 18 years.

Married to wonderful man for 27 years. 4 beautiful children and 1 amazing daughter-in-law. Want to be heathy and fit when the grandchildren come!

I've had 2 spinal fusions in my 46 years and have had asthma for the last 25. The combination of chronic pain and trouble breathing has made it very hard to excercise regularly, and my habit of eating what my husband and son eat instead of what I should eat has resulted in about 50 lbs more than my 5' frame should carry. Recent diets have been effective, but pure torture for me to watch my family eat the ice cream, etc., while I'm stuck with a nuked cinnamon apple. I've lost and regained the same 30 lbs for the last 2 years and my willpower is the weakest it's ever been. Actually, I've developed a habit of binging and purging, which I can't seem to control.

I am 32, newly married, just bought a house and I'm a bit overwhelmed!

I'm 37 and will be 38 in late May. I want to be well on my way to a healthier lifestyle by the time I turn 38. I would like to lose 78 lbs.

I'm 43, a single mother of two wonderful girls, 21 and 16. I have been on a health and fitness journey for about 15 years and am constantly learning something new about nutrition and fitness. I'm basically vegan/vegetarian, but once in a blue moon I'll throw some lean chicken or turkey or a good rib-eye steak in there. lol.

I'm a freshman in college and I'm just disappointed with who I am becoming and how I feel about myself. I am eating my feelings and gaining more than just sadness. I used to be a confident, happy, athletic young woman. I want to motivate myself to eat healthier and get my confident body and mind back!

58 yrs old, happily married, no children, love to travel , cook, entertain... work full-time, husband is retired.. I was diagnosed with celiac disease 4 yrs ago so had to make major changes in eating habits, dealing with menopausal weight gain and body "shift" ... also dealing more with aging relatives

I've used PeerTrainer a few times before, but always lost my motivation along the way. I have a really hard time sticking to a plan right now because my husband is working 2nd shift, and that makes it hard to plan meals and be motivated in the evenings. When he worked 1st shift we would go to the gym together, go walking together, etc. Since we started working these hours I've put on a lot of weight, and I just need to find my motivation and get moving. Although I like PT's tools, I think most of the advice about picking certain foods and eating raw diets is total BS. I try to avoid people who give out extreme advice or are only happy if they are a size Zero.
