This group is for African American women who struggle with weight and body image issues. It is a known fact that African American women are faced with deeper challenges in this regard as we are often praised for our sometimes over abundance or 'thickness'. In this group we will help each other reach are goals once and for all with support, understanding and genuine sisterhood. Although this groups focus is African American woman, all are welcome to join since we are all in this thing together.
