Hi I'm a mom to 2 wonderful boys and 2 step-children. I work with children with special needs and my own 2 sons are Dyslexic. I have a lot on my plate, but need to lose weight to be healthier and happier. I have been overweight my whole life and it is now time for me to stop!! I want to be healthier and set a good example to all the kids.

42 years old. Diabetic. Very energetic and active but huge appetiet.
I am a 33 y.o. male American living and working in Moscow, Russia since 2000. I am married and have a 3 y.o. daughter who is the sunshine of my life. I am currently (Dec. '08) 6' tall and weigh a hefty 305 lbs. As a Marine from '93-'97 I would exercise regularly (running 5+ miles each morning as well as the occasional half-marathon) and eat all the junk I wanted, usually ordering a large pizza on a nightly basis. I weighed approximately 135 lbs. during my enlistment because of the regular exercise and resulting metabolism. I left the Corps in '97 for school and kept eating the same way while dropping the physical activity altogether. Over a 10 year period I ballooned to the size I am today - more than double what I was in '97. I have an MBA in Banking and Finance and am currently working on the Russian equivalent of a PhD in History/Cultural Studies - I guess that's my hobby.
25 year old engineer. Getting married 4/14, and my wife will be giving birth around 8/11. I was thin in high school. I wasn't bad for a year or two into college, but I especially gained some weight when working on my M.S. thesis. I improved a little when I started working, but over the last year or so I have gotten more out of shape than I have ever been. I need to fix this, especially since my wife is going to need some motivation exercising herself. As an added bonus, I've started snoring since I've been gaining weight, and I'm hoping that will reverse, letting her sleep! :)
