48 years old, married female working in recreation field
I'm in my late twenties and very single. I've never had very serious relationships due to the fact that I am extremely embarrassed and self-conscious about my body. I am a scientist so most of my time is spent indoors and sitting on a stool looking into a microscope. I know must of my problem is that I need to get out more and exercise, but I find I have no energy. However, I enjoy the outdoors very much and am an avid photographer and enjoy traveling abroad.
Ive always been a little overweight, but within the last year, ive gained a lot more than i wanted. I knew i had but i didnt realize how much until summer got here. Ive always been really shy around guys because of my weight. But now im to the point that i cant take it anymore. I dont want to just loose a few pounds i want to loose it all and feel confident about going out with friends and meeting guys and felling comfortable in my own clothes. I want to be healthy and not have to think about possibly having health issues because of this at the age of 20.
