Goals: Hi I'm a mom to 2 wonderful boys and 2 step-children. I work with children with special needs and my own 2 sons are Dyslexic. I have a lot on my plate, but need to lose weight to be healthier and happier. I have been overweight my whole life and it is now time for me to stop!! I want to be healthier and set a good example to all the kids.

38 yr old grad student; now really having to fight the pounds as i am sitting more than ever. also want to decrease overall long term risks to my health


Hi! Im 38 yr old single mom of two girls 10 and 8. I have been heavy my whole life. After my second child I developed a thryoid problem which made losing weight even harder. I slowly was on my way when I was involved in a car accident in August of 2003. Two surgeries later and 70 lbs gained, here I am. Just completeted my series of physical therapy. I am completely out of shape. My back, my neck are whacked. I need to lose 100lbs. Period. No excuses. I need to get back into shape. I need help. I just moved to a new state with my girls.. I know no one and have no family here. Support is the key.. that is why I am here. I am thinking of going low carb to get the weight loss started and I am joing the YMCA today to get back to excercising.
