I'm a 36 yo father of 3 who realized late last year if I didn't make some drastic changes my children would be growing up without a dad. That is my biggest motivation.
In 2003 I decided that I was going to loss weight so that I could stay up with my kids. That year I lost 35 pounds and raced my first triathlon. Since then I have done another 9. It is a blast! I also have 2 sons and a beautiful wife. I am 34 years old and getting younger every day.
