Goals: 1) For each team member feel motivated and supported, each day. The most important thing is that you feel you have a GO TO resource to support YOU. 2) Daily logging of food, points and exercise--this is the foundation of long term weight loss success, and developing this habit is a goal. 3) Create an environment where each person feels like they can get anything off their chest. 4) Have Fun!! Having an active team support you in your journey is extremely motivating.

Profile: This is a weight loss group for people who follow the Weight Watchers points system or who would like to learn it. (But at the end of the day, this is all about support and if you are not into WW thats fine) This group is for people going to meetings, not going to meetings, or who are not sure! We are going to journal our points each day (takes 5 minutes) and we are going to have fun helping each other through the had work of losing weight, getting in shape- whatever your goal is! It is really important that we be as vocal as possible in helping each other. There are no "experts" here. We are all the experts of us, and the single most important thing is that we are here for each other.

I'm 28 and newly married. I have lived in NYC for over 5 years. I walked everywhere and loved it. It was the best exercise. I was recently married and moved to Long Island, where the only way to get around is in a car. I feel like I am slowly gaining weight simply because I'm not walking anymore. But, time does not allow it. I wake at 5:30am, and get ready...take a train to NYC for all day...and take the train back home. By the time I get home its after 7pm. Being a 'new Mrs.' I feel like I need to make dinner and be home with my husband. Of course, I love to spend time with him but I miss walking and exercise. There is no time for the gym. I bought an exercise bike, but can't even find time for that. Any advice would be fantastic!
