My name is Suzanne and I live in Tennessee. I am married and have 3 kids and 2 beautiful grandkids.

I am a 22 y/o female that just graduated from college and am beginning my first job in the P.R. profession. I am currently 5'5 and 158 pounds.

I was in an auto accident and broke my back. I had to re-learn to walk again. To reduce the inflamation in my spine, the doctor put me on Prednisone (steroids). There's the "muscle builder" steroids and the "Make you fat" sterioids.... these were the "Make you fat" kind. In addition to that, they decrease your energy big time. This makes it hard to strengthen my weakened muscles. I gained 55lbs in 6 weeks. My ankles were very weak to begin with and with the additional weight, they just couldn't support me anymore. That being said, I've been in a wheel chair since February. I went to see an Enrocronologist (sp) and she put me on the South Beach Diet. I've been on that for quite some time now and have lost a bunch of weight. As of November 1, it's been 41 lbs. Now that I've begun loosing weight, I am now learning to walk AGAIN! Since I've been sedentary for the past 8 months, I have no muscle in my legs.
