For any student who goes to a college or university, we can motivate each other to move away from all the fattening junk food that is around us. We can pave the way for a better lifestyle for our futures.

At the age of 23 I am starting my second year of graduate school at the University of Maryland College Park. I have been dealing with the stresses of being a fulltime student in a new city and have found it easy to eat/drink whatever I want (NOT GOOD). I am a vegetarian that loves sugar, cheese and drinking. I guess I have a problem with eating too much of the "bad carbs". I starting "running" a little bit in college and would love to complete a half-marathon sometime in the Fall. Unfortunately I don't have an excercise routine so I tend to skip the runs and head straight for the fridge. I need to be pushed toward making reasonable goals (running 5-6 times a week, adding distance each week, skipping the candybars) and and a push to keep striving for them even if I fall.
I live in Montreal with my boyfriend. I work in schools with children with special needs. I am doing a bachelors degree in education to teach English as a second language.
i am almost 21, from a suburb of chicago. i have a lot of time on my hands this summer and access to a great gym because i'm going to summer school and living here but i'm only taking one class and working less than part-time. i really want to focus on getting healthy and just a little skinnier
