I'm a mom, a wife, and a designer for an ad agency in NY. I have a total of 40 pounds to lose, but my short-term goal is to lose 10 by July 1st. Daily posts and weekly weigh-in reports are a must: I propose Mondays! I want a team that is aiming week to week on losing a pound or two, since this is steady and healthy and realistic. Right now I'm 185 (it's 5/22) and I want to be 183 by next Monday.

I work in theatre backstage as a stagehand, and just recently ended my part-time job as a personal care attendant for a disabled person. I joined LA weightloss in fall of '05 and lost about 25 lbs. Unfortunately, because of the stress of my part-time job I gained some of it back. I have been running since last fall as well, and love it so much I decided to train for a marathon. I also take between 2-5 ballet classes a week, it is my favorite type of excercise.
I'm a corporate trainer part-time and also work part-time for a high tech company in Seattle, focusing on internal communications and leadership training.

I'm 25 years old, not an Army wife, but a Marine wife! I just had a baby in January, and have lost most of my baby weight... but just need some help with the last 10 pounds. I tend to get discouraged easily and over-eat CONSTANTLY! due to having very little self control. The workouts aren't really the problem ( I love to work out!), I just need to get back to eating smaller portions again- definitly got spoiled during the pregancy!
