60 calories in a medium tangelo.
Tangelos are hybrids of any tangerine (not oranges) and grapefruit or pummelo. They are a popular fruit, and are larger than tangerines and are thus less "seedy", but they have a better flavor of the tangerine. The peel is loose, and the pulp is often colorful, subacid, of fine flavor and very juicy.
There are two varieties dominating the Florida market and most of the U. S. These are the Orlando tangelo and the Minneola or “Honeybell” tangelo.
