About me:
I'm 31, I have two girls 7 and 4, and a son age 1 1/2. Lived in Charlottesville,VA for the past 3 years, and Oregon/Washington 8 before that. I'm originally from Oklahoma.

Diets I like:
Smaller portion sizes and having to walk at least 5 miles a day seems to be the only thing that does the trick for me. I gave up Dr. Pepper for New Years (2010), and it was great but I didn't stick with it. Giving up Dr. Pepper for good would be great for me.

Workout of choice:
**NEW as of 2009: I LOVE RUNNING. Inside. Outside. It rocks.** I love to swim, and I like both free weights and machines. If I can't swim, the eliptical, bike, and treadmill are okay, but I prefer actually being outside. At the moment, with the kids at home, I am sticking to daily walking and exercise videos.

My plan:
I don't know what happened, but I put on ten pounds in a year and then got pregnant. Starting a pregnancy at my highest weight was a wakeup call. I have been carefully watching what I eat and trying to walk every day. I'm not sure how I will workout when the baby gets here, but I want to make it a priority. I enjoyed being closer to my goal weight a lot and want to get back there! I also want to complete the Couch to 5k running program and move onto the 16 week triathlon training program from www.beginnertriathlete.com. I have been using SparkPeople to track food and that works really well.

I need the most help with:
My Dr. Pepper addiction. Seriously my biggest stumbling block.

Additional Info:
I completed my first triathlon in June - it was great and I want to do more!
