OT- Mid Life Crisis ---- NOT!

I'm not going to call this a mid-life crisis, instead I'm calling this more of an awareness of things I've always wanted to do or try and am now just getting around to doing them! I am 39 years old, was overweight most of my life and lost a lot of it a few years ago. Now I'm trying to keep it all in check but I think it did a world of good on my outlook on life. Recently I took up motorcyle riding (I own a harley and if you knew how conservative I am you'd be surprised!) My next endeavor is to buy a gun and join a class to learn how to shoot it and get lisenced to carry concealed. I'm in the process of thinking of other "out of the norm" things for me to do or take up as hobbies as I approach the middle of my life.
So, as an interesting topic I thought I'd post this to find out if any of you are doing anything differently as you approach the middle of your lives and encourage you to get out there and try some new and totally different things. IF you could, what would you do that's totally out of character for you? I'm telling you, it's a completely freeing experience!!
