Tips For Emotional Eating

we are starting to tie a lot of information and discussion together in different areas. This is a link to a page we have developed on emotional eating. It has some tips we have developed, links to other articles we have written, as well as links back to several important community discussions on the issue. The community discussions are great.

Feel free to add anything to the discussion. From our research and observation, we think that the single most important aspect of controlling emotional eating specifically is to find a way of creating space between stimulus and response. What the research shows is that people go directly to eating from the emotional stimulus. Any space that you place between stimulus and response helps to improve your odds of combating this.

We are even thinking about putting a games section on PT, so you have a diversion at night. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback about any of this!
