Hang over over-eating

I'll start by stating that I recognize that the hang over is obviously the result of poor choices made the previous day. I know that to be healthy and to maintain weight loss, one cannot drink in excess. But, we all slip up from time to time, and when I slip up and have more than three drinks, I suffer the next day.

One of the worst symptoms of my hang over is a desire to eat massive quantities of food, all day! And although I am a vegetarian and eat a lot of healthy, high fiber food normally, when I am hung over I crave high fat, salty, even greasy foods. I don't usually have these cravings! Also, I feel like I can't satiate myself. No matter what I eat, I still feel unsatisfied.

How can I keep from making a bad thing worse? Are there any special foods that are great at satisfying the hang over craving for fat and salt and help me feel satisfied? I hate turning one night of over indulgence into a full day of binge eating!
