semi-OT - husband not on goodhealth bandwagon
So I've been changing my life around but eating well and exercising, I've lost 20 lbs and have another 50-70 to go and am loving the changes. I have so much more energy and am happier with the way I look but I'm having issues in my marriage. First note though that it hasn't been perfect to begin with. I married my husband because I got pregnant, have yet to be "in love" with him and have always had issues with his lack of activity (his idea of a great weekend is 48 hours infront of the computer with meals brought to him only to break for bathroom). So, I wasn't exactly happy to begin with but not it's really getting to me that I'm trying to make life altering changes to me and my children's life (they are my motivation, I don't want them being the fat kid like I always was) but my husband is content to buy chips, drink soda, and sit infront of the computer or TV. He has no ambition to workout though he has suggested that maybe he should practice some of the portion control that I'm so crazy over, but I'm sick of hearing him complain about how fat he is when he does NOTHING about it. I try to be supportive and always offer for him to join in when I workout, ask him if he'd like what I"m planning to eat as opposed to something with more calories and less nutrition but he just sits there with his junkfood. I guess he thinks that since he'd been naturally skinny (160 on a 6'3" frame) and could eat whatever he wanted UNTIL he turned 30 that it may just kick back in but he's pushing 275 and I'm getting conserned. I have never been in love with him but I'm finding his increasing weight, laziness, and effect he's having on my children a HUGE turn off and have a hard time just living with him, let alone being attracted enough to want to sleep with him. I'm very unhappy and don't want my children to get the bad end of the stick, a grouchy mom and bad-influence father. HELP!
