PEERtrainer Community Guidelines

Simple and Clear Rules To Keep Things Fun, Informative and Interesting

As PEERtrainer has grown, so too has the request from the members to put a little more structure and guidelines around public community discussions. Given the relatively mature and intelligent demographic that inhabits the site, we have had very few issues. That said, here are a few guidelines to follow and expectations to set for the use of the public forums.

1) Comments that contain profanity will be deleted.

2) Comments that are rude, derogatory, insulting to another person will be deleted.

3) Don't jump all over someone for starting a new thread. Discussion is the objective and if there is a relevant thread, politely link the old one to the new.

4) PEERtrainer reserves the right to remove user accounts that repeatedly violate these guideliness.

5) If you see something, say something. All community members need to help make this forum the best it can be! email us at customercare at peertrainer dot com

6) If you want to fight about animals, Craigslist is a great place to do that.

If you are like most people, you know how to lose weight and get fit, but simply have a hard time following through. PEERtrainer was built to help you follow through, via daily logging and peer support. It is easy to get started--you log your food, exercise, thoughts each day. This takes about 5 minutes, and is a great habit to develop. You do this in small weight loss groups of 4 and larger "teams". The logging makes you much more aware of your habits. The group members read your logs and keep you motivated and supported. This tight integration of logging with free online weight loss support groups is very effective. It is also a unique and patent-pending process.

It is easy to get started:

1. You Sign Up. It is free.
