Christmas, 2009. 202 pounds

My Goal:
140 lbs, joint pain eased, more active.


About me:
I'm winning this time. I'm in my mid 50s and it is time I took myself in hand. Seriously. My life is extremely stressful and that isn't helping. I have to get this under control. I have lost 20 lbs more or less, since 6-01-18


Diets I like:
Currently, I am doing lowish carb, extremely low meat, with well over half my intake by volume being vegetables. OMAD, with times of longer water fasting as well. I know that excess fat is the enemy, not excess weight. SO many things can affect my tonnage. No use getting excited about anything other than gaining or losing FAT!


Workout of choice:
I have a Gazelle Glider, an exercise bike, a pair of lightweight dumbells, and a playlist of workouts that don't kill my joints on my youtube acct.


My plan:
I will do at least one workout every day. I will post what I do. I will weigh myself every day and will log what it says. I will continue the OMAD and the water fasts until that causes a problem or stops working.


I need the most help with:
Tough love. I need someone to ask me if I moved that day, and if I say, "No," then to challenge me and ask "Why the heck not?" Someone to remind me that the benefits of excercise will be there so much longer than the comfort of staying in my nice warm bed. I need someone else, who has no real interest in how I look, to also support me by holding me accountable for how I eat, drink, and move (or don't move)


Additional Info:
I am considered articulate, and love intellectual discussions of all sorts. I value flexibility of mind and a willingness to consider where another is coming from as far as point of view. I used to be a conservative christian, and am not any longer.
