My last semester of college in 2006 was where a lot of the weight gain occurred--very little sleep, several high-caffeined drinks a day to keep me awake, weekly roommate pizza nights and not eating enough of anything healthy. I've always been a reasonable size, but after my husband and I went on our weeklong honeymoon cruise and I saw my weight on the scale after we got back, I knew it was time to act to get those numbers down. However, I wanted to ENJOY losing the weight (i.e. no crash dieting, exercising when I can, splurging every now and then)

I managed to lose 6 lbs before joining PEERtrainer in mid-June 2008 with several online friends. Since then, I've been kept so accountable by logging my food intake and exercise daily and have lost another 10 lbs and several inches. Because I know I must log what I eat, I am no longer tempted to snack mindlessly and/or "sneak" really unhealthy things.

I am now back at the weight I was when I met my husband almost 4 years ago (which is my ideal weight) and have been maintaining it for a couple of weeks now. I couldnt be happier!
