But these are meant to show you what kinds of results are possible, and who they are possible for. "I used to eat horribly up until the past few years when I began moving toward eating a somewhat better diet. However, I had read and tried so many diet and health plans over the years, I was overwhelmed by what I should follow. And I wasn't seeing great success even when I thought I was doing everything right, which would lead me to abandon my efforts and resolve to eat pretty much whatever I wanted since it didn't seem to make a difference on the scale.
**The eating plan **with the Fresh Start Cleanse Program **made it so easy for me. I do love to eat, but don't love to cook, so I like simple plans! The first day was little hard, and it took about a week for me to lose my hunger pangs and cravings. But removing **all of those trigger foods from my diet has made a dramatic difference for me. I have been following the cleanse for 4 weeks now, and have elected not to reintroduce the potential trigger foods yet. I understand now how I was using food as a drug, and now am using it as medicine, and with all the healing that my body needs, I need to be as kind to it as possible for awhile.
Since starting this program, I have released 7.8 lbs, gone from 43.3% body fat to 41% body fat, my visceral fat has gone from 9% to 8%, my BMI has gone from 27.6% to 26.2%, my muscles have gone from 23.6% to 24.4%, I have lost 2 1/2" from my waist, and 1 1/2" off my hips. Most of my symptoms have improved significantly.

"Here is my story, which I am sure is similar to so many others - which is a great thing!!!
I am a 43 year old female, married with 3 kids (15,13 and 11). I am relatively active and have worked on increasing my exercise levels over the last 4 years or so.....I try to take the dogs on long walks as often as I can, mix it up with a bit of running here and there and started Tae Kwon Do classes (recently earned my yellow belt!).
I am fortunate enough to be able to work a flexible schedule, mostly from home, which allows me alot of freedom when it comes to my kids schedules, etc. I usually think of myself as pretty healthy, but when I had to check off 14 of the 15 symptoms on your checklist as 'yes' I began to second guess my thinking!! I knew that weight is something that I wanted to address (my end goal is about 15-20 pounds) and my other two main goals were digestive issues and joint pain (knees, shoulder).
My husband has been a big fan of the protein/low glycemic carb balance for a long time, so I was familiar with that angle. About five years ago, he developed soy and gluten allergies so we as a family probably eat a lot less of that stuff than most. I also thought I knew about protein powders, and we have had a variety of different kinds in the past, but I didn't realize there were non-soy options out there! Given my husband's allergies, I had given up on utilizing them.
My number one weakness was for Diet Coke and I was very susceptible to sugar/bread binges.....once I start I couldn't stop myself! It was not unusual for me to have the equivalent of 8-12 cans of Dt. Coke per day and I knew that was probably the major contributor to alot of my symptons (digestive, sluggish weight loss, cravings, etc.).
My friend mentioned your upcoming cleanse......and it was a perfect storm.....I was in a place that I was ready to make changes, I liked the group support concept, I was familiar with alot of the concepts that JJ speaks of and it did not seem like some wacky-don't eat-drink weird drinks-live in the bathroom for 2 weeks-kind of program.
The result as of today is: I lost 6 pounds during the two week cleanse and several more since then. My digestive problems have been corrected. My knees and shoulders feel better than they have in many years. Swelling in my hands and feet have subsided. No uncontrollable cravings (the only thing I crave now is the shakes....WITH spinach!). My moods are much more level.
I have been able to maintain myself and make healthy choices in social settings, as well as during the day when I work from home. I do not feel deprived as I am actually very satisifed and very full most of the day! And last but certainly not least, I am off the Dt. Coke (and for anyone who really knows me, they know that that is a miracle!!)......with the cold shake that I have in the morning, I can honestly say I do not miss the soda and it was not hard to give up!!
I seemed to hit a plateau with the scale for about a week, but I kept doing what I had been doing and what was interesting to me was that while the scale did not reflect any weight loss, my body continued to change/shift for the better.
I plan to continue the shakes. They are a god send to me......I don't have to think about it and I don't have to make decisions about what to eat/how much, etc. at breakfast or lunch. At this stage of my life, I am grateful to have two less things to think about or decide on!!! I have not been 100% perfect, but I have found motivation that was missing for so long and a healthy balance that works for me and my life right now.......and for that I am IMMENSELY grateful!

"Hey Jackie and JJ,
Thanks so much for taking my call yesterday on the live Q & A. I had mentioned that I had lost 8 pounds during the cleanse and that was just the beginning for me in terms of my own health. I learned so much about reactive foods and inflammation and identified my own personal triggers. I had much digestive distress and seemed unable to lose weight prior to doing the cleanse. When I did my symptoms check list, there were many including low energy, cravings, poor sleep, skin issues, gas, bloating, joint pain, and headaches.
I thought I was in pretty good shape and then I pulled out the wheat/gluten, dairy, soy, eggs and wow! I feel rested when I wake up in the mornings, my lower back doesn't hurt, I have no cravings to speak of...except that tomatoes sounds so good! My gi system is so much better of-- can you say normal! I didn't realize how much it was making me irritable!
I lost 2 inches in my hips and an inch in my waist the 1st week! My husband thought that my hips were slimming down. My chiropractor told me she wished she had my flat stomach and my skin! My health coach have never seen progress like mine! My jeans are loose and I know that I will achieve my weight goal soon especially with your suggestion to kick up the workouts.
I am a swimmer and have spent many hours in the pool. With the burst training, I warm up, swim 8-12 bursts with a recovery in between them and now my times are getting faster. I haven't felt this fabulous in years if not decades! I have found a new lifestyle--the shakes, fat for energy, and the awesome supplements.
The best thing about the program was that I don't have to think about what I am going to eat. After you sign up, you start a one week "pre-cleanse" process. You get access to a dashboard where you get access to course materials designed to make sure you are 100% ready for success.
For those of you who order the shake kits, this pre-cleanse period gives you time for the kits to arrive.
