Weight goal for 2013 - pounds in the 130's (reward @ 130: tattoo). Please?
I started something, if you feel like reading: http://mybuddytomorrow.wordpress.com/
Yes - all meat and fish, eggs, vegetables, fats/oils, coffee/tea, coconut/nut milks, nuts/seeds (only raw), sweet potatoes, squash, root vegetables
Limit - white potatoes, fruit, dairy, alcohol
No - refined sugars, all grains, beans, refined carbohydrates, juice, rice/oat milks, soda, soy, bottled dressing, corn
Eating a bunch of food, even the good-for-me kinds, is still eating a lot of food.
Night tip: Get ready for bed as soon as possible to prevent zombie eating.
Normally, I would never bake anything with flour and sugar. But it is my God-daughter's birthday and I know it would make her happy. Sigh. At least I limited myself this time. I did not gorge on 1/2+ cup cookie dough and 5+ cookies. I will take any form of progress.
Also. I only added 1/3 of the sugar the recipe called for. Meaning 1/2 cup instead of 1.5 cups. And only 3/4 bag of chocolate chips.
11am: 3-mile coffee walk around the lake w. a lovely soccer buddy
5:30am: 1 soft-boiled egg w. sriracha, peppermint tea
6-7:45am: Baking God-daughter chocolate chip cookies (her favorite) for her birthday party: 2 spoons cookie dough, 2 small cookies
10:30am: 3 raw brazil nuts, black coffee
1pm: small chicken pho soup (half the noodles), chili paste
Plan: 4:30-7pm: God-daughter's 10th birthday party. There will be a Filipino feast! Lots of eating and sitting.
No sugar, breaded things, or rice, please. That won't make me feel good. 1 plate per 2-3 hours. It will be filled with meat, fish and vegetables! 1 egg roll w. sweet chili sauce is okay. I will bring some hot peppermint tea to follow my meal!
Update: I definitely overate by getting seconds, which included 1 eggroll and plenty of rice. I did not eat any of the desserts! However, I did eat food that I brought with me once I got home: 2 eggrolls, 3 little pieces chicken, 1 small rice ball and couple spoons pork stew.
Sigh. So good. But so full.
