Binge-Free February: Day 1
Sleep: Not much. 6 hours w. some disruptions.
I think I redeemed myself yesterday. Now to stay on track over the weekend that is up ahead.
My poor knee is sore. Also. Bored, tired and not at all motivated at work. This work week was TOUGH and now I feel like slacking. Not a good thing. I also feel like eating some unsweetened chocolate. This has been what I've been wanting when I am stressed. Which is nice in comparison to the sugar hits I used to crave like a mad woman.
9:30am: 5 raw brazil nuts, 8 oz black coffee (throughout day)
11am: small portion cold asian chicken salad from cafe (chicken, cabbage, slivered almonds, green onion, ramen pieces, vinegar/sesame oil), 1 fried egg (cooked w. coconut oil)
And then for safe measure (and because I was still hungry):
1/2 can salmon, little bit mixed greens + red onion, spoonful olive tapanade, 2 raw brazil nuts
2pm: more cold asian chicken salad, 4 raw brazil nuts w. sesame oil + sesame seeds, 1 spoon olive tapanade
- My attempt to stay awake at work. Struggling. SO. SLEEPY. Also. I think my body is cravings fats.
5pm: 10 baby carrots w. dijon mustard (to dip)
6pm: @ Mother R's home: a LOT of roasted pork, 1/2 cup (?) white rice, small portion squid dish
2-ish spoons hazelnut butter + unsweetened chocolate
- I always feel like such a fat kid in Mother R's home. Before, during and after eating. Ugh. The pork was way too salty which made me want rice. Both made me feel bloated. The nut butter and chocolate didn't make me feel good either. I hate it when food makes me feel gross. I always end up trying to look for a food that will make me feel better. Even when I'm full.
9:30pm: And then this happened...
more than half a bag of vegetable root chips + less than half a bag of sweet potato tortilla chips, 1/2 banana, 7 chocolate chips
SO FULL. AND SALT OVERLOAD.
