Goal
Weight goal for 2013 - pounds in the 130's (reward @ 130: tattoo). Please?

My 21-Day Sugar Detox: December 26th - January 16th (Round 2!)

Yes - all meat and fish, eggs, vegetables, fats and oils, coffee and tea, coconut/nut milks

Limit - beets, butternut squash and pumpkin (1 cup), coconut juice/water and kombucha (8 oz), green-tipped banana and green apple (1), nuts/seeds and butters (1 serving)

No - refined sugars, all grains and beans, refined carbohydrates, peanuts and cashews, juice, rice/oat milks, soda, soy, bottled dressing, gum, corn, sweet potatoes/yams, white potatoes, winter squash (acorn, delicata, kabocha), pretty much all fruit, all dairy, alcohol

Day 19: 21-Day Sugar Detox (redo) - ALMOST done!

Sleep: 5

Feeling grumpy and sleep deprived this morning. I wish breakfast can wait until noon since I'm not hungry, but I can't really adjust everything around my eating schedule.

Thoughts- So. Much. Food. I ate myself into a sodium coma. Literally. I fell asleep at Mother R's in a very full state and woke up in EXTREME thirst. I'm not sure what it is about Mother R's home. That place must trigger something within me because growing up (and even visiting as an adult), I would stuff myself to oblivion with whatever I could get my hands on. I catch myself doing the same thing these days. It is really strange how that happens. Instead of being so upset with myself, I will do better tomorrow.

This detox is SO hard towards the end. It is actually the most difficult days of the detox for me. I think I ate so many nuts because I really wanted to eat cookies and other sweet things instead.

Also. I learned that if I am going to eat nuts, the raw kind is the only kind I can handle. It is too easy for me to binge on non-raw nuts.

None whatsoever


breakfast
11am: Breakfast w. Mother R: 2 sausage links + sausage/mushroom/spinach/onion scramble w. no cheese, no toast, no hash browns, yes black coffee

- SALT OVERLOAD. Ugh.


lunch
1:30pm: Movie watching w. Mother R: no popcorn/snacks, just coconut water


snacks
4:30pm-6:30pm: a TON (I mean, TON) of salted mixed nuts, 1 spoon sesame butter, chicharrones, 3 spoons hazelnut butter, boiled cabbage

-I think there's more to this that I can't remember...


dinner
6:30-7:30pm: boiled fish + eggplant, more mixed nuts, 1 spoon sesame butter

- Probably more things. I was beyond uncomfortably full. So stuffed it hurt.

10:30pm: 1 adult carrot + 1 spoon sesame butter
