Day 14: 21-Day Sugar Detox (redo) - ONE more week! HOORAY.
Sleep: <8 (Tossed and turned. I woke up sleepy.)
Thoughts- Why am I craving peanut butter and bread-y things??? I do not even normally eat these foods, but all I want is a peanut butter sandwich right now. Sigh. Also. I never thought I would ever emotionally eat salmon. Things have REALLY changed for the better.
7:45am: 8 oz black coffee
10:45am: 1.5 eggplants cooked w. egg + o.o., sardines in tomato sauce + lime, small salad (raw baby kale/chard/spinach, tomato, red pearl onion, sesame oil)
2:30pm: rotisserie chicken, salad (spinach, carrot-top greens, red pearl onions, tomato, 1/2 small avocado, sesame oil), coconut water
4pm: 5 little spicy spanish chorizo discs, 2 adult carrots
5pm: 1/2 frozen banana, small chunks creamed coconut, unsweetened chocolate
6-7pm: small portion leftover omelette w. butter, LOTS of salmon (baked w. o.o.) + lemon pepper, lots of creamed coconut
- Emotional eating. I flaked out on the craft gathering due to my dead car and not wanting to ride 3 buses in the cold. But I felt SO guilty. Good thing I do not own any chips and cookies.
Plan: Craft-y + Wine-y Gathering: Water. [Nope.]
8:30pm: 1 cup ginger kombucha
- Trying to curb my sugar cravings in a civilized way and this kind of worked. It is a seriously good thing I don't keep processed carbs in my home.
