Goal
Get motivated: Exercise and no sugar will make me stronger. At least do it for that reason.

- Exercise (via running or gym) most days of the week.
- Pile the vegetables.
- Limited sugar and flour intake.
- Sleep for at least 7 hours per night.

Treat your body with respect to be healthy and happy. And maintain a sense of balance.

my notes
Day 12: 21-Day Sugar Detox (!!!)

I hate Facebook. I am not a frequent Facebook user, but I decided to post my blog site on the 21-Day Sugar Detox page. I was hoping to reach *strangers* and did not think that my friends would see this as well.

After a little panic attack and a bout of anxiety, I had to do some damage control and turn some of my posts into private mode. This is kind of unfortunate because I am sure there are people who could really relate to those binge posts. And now my blog is not a private-ish place for me to pour my thoughts into. Sad.

On a better note, I am really liking the calmness I feel even when hungry. Hunger usually makes me irritable, crazy and a little panic-y. But this detox has kind of changed that.

workout
Rest day? Yup.

pm: 15-minute walk from car to holiday party

breakfast
8:30am: rotisserie chicken + roasted peppers/zucchini/yellow squash with hot sauce and coconut aminos (to dip), 2 spoons warmed up pumpkin + pumpkin spice + 2 spoons coconut milk

- I woke up HUNGRY.

11am: black coffee

lunch
12:45pm: 1/2 can unsalted pink salmon + salad: tuscan kale + radish greens + little radish slices + 1/2 avocado + sun dried tomatoes in o.o. + o.o./balsamic vinegar

snacks
4:45pm: 1/2 can unsalted pink salmon + 1/2 avocado + carrot peelings of 1 adult carrot + drizzle o.o. + roasted flaxseeds

dinner
8:30pm: No time for soup! Cleaned then had to run to the party. Instead...shredded chicken w. paleo mayo (egg yolk/canola oil/lemon) + tuscan kale w. tiny drizzle o.o. + carrot peelings of 1 adult carrot + 1/4 avocado + little radish slices

- So. Good. It was perfect. Hearty, yet light.

Plan: 9:30-11:30pm: A good friend's holiday party: Just water. DONE! Well, I actually just sipped on black coffee all night and told everyone I added booze.
