Weight Loss Goals:


My dream weight is 125
My previous Weight Watchers goal weight was 144
My goal weight is somewhere in between.
My realistic weigh is now 135. That takes into account the massive quantities of extra skin that trick me into thinking that I am still fat. There has to be at least 10 pound of it so my secret weight is 125 or below.
UPDATE!!!!
I not only have reached my secret dream weight but I have been maintaining it since June of 2012. So if I were to have this skin removed I would actually weigh below 120. I am proud that I lost enough weight to make a real impact in my life. Not only am I within normal weight range but I have a body age of 40! My body is 17 years younger than my actual age. This just goes to show you that can reverse the effects of obesity. :D

This is a guideline of how I aspire to eat. EAT TO LIVE RULES!

Unlimited raw vegetables (at least 1 lb.)
Unlimited raw fruit (at least 4)
Unlimited steamed green vegetables, eggplant, onions, peppers
Unlimited herbs/spices except salt
Minimum 1 cup beans/legumes
Condiments should be fat-free, sugar-free, no salt
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 oz. raw nuts/seeds/avocado
Maximum 1 cup grains/starch (bread, grains, corn, potato, squash, turnip, cooked carrots)
NO dairy, fruit juice, dried fruit
Minimum 1 lb leafy greens
Minimum 1 lb cooked veggies (non starchy)
Minimum 4 fruits
Minimum 1 cup beans/legumes
Minimum 1 T flax seeds
Maximum 1 cup grains/starchy
Maximum 1 oz. seeds/nuts/avocado

It's been a rough couple of weeks. Work has been slow and I have ben home more so food is on my mind more. It has been tough to not think about it. I did buy a few items that made me crazy so instead of resisting or throwing them out I ate the rest of the package. They aren't bad things such as the whole grain bread or the Amy's organic burgers made with brown rice and veggies. I haven't bought any commercial hummus or any peanuts to make PB. For the most part, I nver eat anything that can hurt me so when my weight jumped up to 123.4 I started to panic. Now before you think I'm nuts it's not the actual number that I was concerned about. It was the fact that I was between 114 & 117 and then all of the sudden I was 123??? That's up at least 6 pounds!!! It's the trend that kind of freaked me out. There wasn't a whole lot I could change so I just tweaked things a little. I cut back on th number of fruits in my smoothie. I was having 6. I dropped it down to 4 and cut out the slice of whole grain bread with the onion slice. It had to be one or the other and smoothie won. I also broke out the carrots, beets, cucumber/celery and made myself a big glass of veggie juice. I drank this with my morning smoothie. I was going to go on a juice fast but I talked myself out of that because that is dieter'[s mentality and I would be doing it to lose weight, which has never been my primary focus since joining PEERtrainer. My focus has to first & foremost on my health. I felt just as awesome as always so thought that the juice would make a nice addition to breakfast. I did this for 3 days and every morning I jumped on the scale to see what the results were. I lost a pound. Then, this morning I was pleasantly surprised & delighted to see 118. Whew! I thin I am going to continue with the juicing. I really like what it's doing. It really cleaned me out similar to when I would get the digestive troubled last year but in a good way. I am once again amazed at the human body.
I have had more than my share of time off lately. I was off on Wed & Thurs, worked Friday and am off the whole weekend! Woo hoo! I haven't made any soap in a few weeks because I have been catching up with my email & doing some research into making liquid soap. I am finally ready to make some. I just have a little bit of food shopping to do first then I am ready to dig in and do it. I need some PH strips. Hmmm....I
