Some folks need a few days to mentally prepare, and perhaps also to clear out the junk from their pantries, to get their houses in order. I personally like starting new routines on Sundays.

In Beck Diet Solution, she recommends picking a start date two weeks off. I personally think one week off is adequate. To each their own, whatever works for them. It's all good!

Why would yo pick a date 2 weeks off? You'll probably gain 7 pounds just preparing and then be happy you lost that weight afterwards.

^^ previous poster, just because you might gain weight in 7 days doesn't make that true for eveyone else. as they say, different strokes for different folks! ;)

on the PEERtrainer Cleanse they also give you some time to clean out the kitchen before starting program on an official start date, so that everyone can start together on the same date.

lots of teams here start new challenges on an official start date. this thread is for a new team that wants to start out all together on same page. why are you being so negative?

I love how the regulars in the PEERtrainer community are supportive. that's what we are all here for.

thanks.
